Job Responsibilities

This role routinely uses standard agriculture equipment such as pruning scissors, shears, spray bottles, measuring cups, beakers, and sanitization equipment. Employees will be required to gown into uniforms before entering the facility. Temperatures and conditions will be similar to most greenhouses: around 80 degrees F and 55% Humidity. Employees will be exposed to fresh cannabis plants, and cannabis plant material. They will also be subject to loud noise from fans, pumps, and motors.
Physical Requirements
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Must be able to lift 50 pounds. Must be able to stand, sit, walk and stay active for long periods of time. Must be able to stay focused on single tasks at a time. Must be able to perform at a rate cohesive with employee standards. Reports To: Trim Manager, compliance officer, head of cultivation.
Position Summary: Premium cannabis producer seeking experienced dry trim staff for licensed Adult Use/Recreational cultivation facility. Essential Functions:
- Breakdown flowers off of stem and stalk of plant in order to separate unusable waste from useable product
- Track the amount of unusable waste for each plant/batch.
- Trim cannabis to meet company aesthetics, producing the highest quality product efficiently.
- After breakdown of plant, employee must identify and separate fan leaves, stems and sugar leaves on the flower.
- Employee must account for each by-product type processed off the flower; adding stems and fan leaves to “waste” for proper tracking.
- Employee must exhibit competency in basic organizational, tracking and communication skills.
- Employee must be able to work well independently, as well as with others.
- Employee must be able to adapt to various strains, styles and types of marijuana they are trimming; adjusting their techniques to maintain a steady pace and quality.

PACKAGING ASSOCIATE- Adult Use/Rec Cultivation and Manufacturing facility
Seeking full time packaging associates for Premium Cannabis Brand specializing in flower, flower products as well as concentrates. The Packaging Associate conducts day-to-day operations within the cultivation and manufacturing facility including cleaning, setting up packaging work areas, weighing, packaging, labeling, of cannabis flower, flower products and extracts. The Packaging Associate is responsible for cleaning and facility upkeep while adhering to all company policy and industry regulations. The Packaging Associate is expected to operate under the highest standards of compliance and professionalism. The Packaging Associate will be working with a variety of manufacturing/light industrial/production tasks. We have a very fast-paced environment. You must be able to multi-task, work quickly, efficiently, and be adaptable to changing of priorities as well as tasks as needed.
Essential Duties, Procedures, Productivity, and Quality
- Ensure that production is performed by following standard operating procedures.
- Set up room for efficient operation of filling, and packaging; labeling, boxing, inventory counts etc.
- Ability to work with and around other managers, supervisors and employees in the facility.
· Attention to detail required at all times as well as proper handling of all product
- Help monitor and manage packaging equipment, supplies and inventory
- Perform a series of preventive and general maintenance tasks on production equipment, tools and facility.

Job Title: Cannabis Cultivation Technician
Reports To: Director of Cultivation, Compliance officer, CEO.
Position Summary: Premium Cannabis Producer seeking professionally experienced cultivation staff for Adult Use/Recreational cannabis cultivation facility. Please read entire job summary and be able to meet all the basic requirements/functions before applying. Reply with resume, minimum 3 non personal references and description of experience.
Job Responsibilities
- Perform daily room maintenance checks to ensure everything is operating correctly
- Perform daily plant health checks to keep record of plant health through its growth cycle
- Oversee the completion of daily logs/checks performed by the cultivation associates
- Identify/spot and report: pests, poor plant health, nutrient deficiencies and toxicities
- Environmental monitoring and reporting
- Perform plant work in accordance with the needs of the production schedule
- Maintain a clean and sterile working environment
- Perform deep Cleaning and Disinfection tasks throughout entire facility INCLUDING some janitorial tasks.
- Work with either vegetative & flowering cannabis plants daily
- Harvest plants at the end of their growth cycle
- Trellising plants during flowering cycle
- Irrigation line maintenance
- Follow and execute the company's Standard Operating Procedures
- Ensure that all cultivation associates are following and executing the company's standard operating procedures
- Transplanting rooted clones into coco or other mediums
- Daily strain stability checks across all plants and R&D strains
- Topping and pruning vegetative plants as directed and in accordance to companies SOP’s
- Taking cuttings from Mother plants and sticking cuttings into grow medium
- Pruning Mother plants according to cultivar and cloning needs
- Preparing grow media for clones and/or transplants
- Mixing and applying soil drenches
- Releases beneficial/predatory insects
- Irrigating by hand according to plants size and needs
- Following strict biosecurity protocols, maintaining sanitation of tools and person
- Cleaning tables, mopping floors, and filling footbaths with sanitation solution
- Standing/squatting/bending with arms extended for long periods of time
- Affixing Metrc tags to plant lots and individual plants
- Scouting for and reporting any pests and pathogens (powdery mildew, botrytis)
- Applying trellis netting, training/manipulating branches to achieve a uniform canopy
- Mixing and applying foliar sprays and drenches
- Mixing and delivering nutrients
- Measuring the EC and pH of nutrient solution
- Hand watering in accordance with companies Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s)
- Filling flowering rooms with vegetative plants
- Working at a fast pace under warm cultivation lights - rooms average 75+ degrees
- Any other task assigned by Leads, Director of Cultivation, Compliance manager, CEO.
Job Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in a Professional Cultivation facility, knowledge of plant life, care, nutrients, IPM and best practices. (follow directions, fast-paced, flexible to do any job)
- Maine Drivers license and reliable transportation
- Perform and complete basic math with 100% accuracy at all times
- Individual Identification Card
- Pesticide Applicator license
- Flexibility and wanting to help out wherever is needed
- Perform work as directed and follow instructions
- Ability to use technology: email, greenhouse operations systems, etc.
- Knowledge of sanitization practices in cannabis and ability to implement
- Must be over the age of 21
- Ability to work with uniformity

- Ability to work in high temperatures and humidity found in cultivation rooms

Preferred Qualifications
- Associate's Degree or Bachelors Degree in horticulture or related field a plus
Working Environment
This job operates in a professional, clean environment. This role routinely uses standard agriculture equipment such as pruning scissors, shears, spray bottles, measuring cups, beakers, and sanitization equipment. Employees will be required to gown into uniforms before entering the facility. Temperatures and conditions will be similar to most greenhouses: around 80 degrees F and 55% Humidity. Employees will be exposed to fresh cannabis plants, and cannabis plant material. They will also be subject to loud noise from fans, pumps, and motors.
Physical Requirements
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Must be able to lift 50 pounds. Must be able to stand, sit, walk and stay active for long periods of time. Must be able to stay focused on single tasks at a time. Must be able to perform at a rate cohesive with employee standards. Employees must be able to see, hear, and communicate basic operational and safety instructions. Employees may be required to wear Tyvec suits and safety goggles during pesticide application. Employees will be required to use hands, fingers, and arms to grasp, pull, twist, reach, and push as needed to operate basic tools. Employees will be required to change clothes/gown onsite daily. They will also need to use legs and feet to be able to climb and crouch as needed. Full body will be used to lift nutrients, push carts, stack pallets, and other heavy lifting needs.
Other Duties
Cultivation Technicians will be required to learn how different cultivars/strains grow, and how to identify a variety of pests/pathogens. This is a labor-intensive position that requires attention to detail, self-accountability, good critical thinking skills, and the ability to adapt to rapidly changing tasks.
Licenses required: IIC, Pesticide Applicator License and Caregiver Assistant card.
Pay: $18.00-$24.00 per hour DOE
