Job Description
UMBRLA, Inc. is seeking a Vice President of Distribution to oversee distribution efforts across the Company’s entire operating platform, currently with operations in California and Oregon. The role will plot the strategic distribution plan for current, and future, operating areas as well maintain day to day oversite of distribution activities. These activities include the transportation, warehousing, route planning and overall logistics for the multi-site operations and a network of 1,200+ retailers throughout the two states as well as future markets.

Job Summary
· Responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive and strategic distribution plan, including warehousing, transportation/logistics, systems integration, inventory control, route optimization, space/equipment utilization, supply/demand, CAPEX, etc.
· Build and optimize a cost-effective logistics network throughout multiple facilities, from manufacturing to warehousing to retail/wholesale.
· Engage key business partners across the organization to ensure alignment and assist in defining the overall distribution strategy, including but not limited to Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, and Operations to ensure the company reaches its goals for profit, growth, and customer satisfaction.
· Consistently meet regulatory compliance and safety measures within company guidelines, including security, training, OSHA, DOT, EHS, etc.
· Build and lead a team through a culture of accountability and organization, while promoting employee engagement, rolling out best practice and professional development across all locations.
· The role will be based in the Los Angeles / Orange Country area as the Vice President of Distribution is expected to be in the Santa Ana headquarters periodically.
· The travel requirement is expected to be approximately 60%.
Required Experience, Education And Skills
· Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, or related field, Master's and/or Six Sigma/Lean Manufacturing certification/training preferred.
· 15+ years commercial distribution, supply chain, and/or logistics experience, including a minimum of 5 years direct experience managing and developing a team preferably across markets.
· Experience in a FMCG (fast moving consumer goods) environment highly preferred e.g., food, confectionary, soft drinks, alcohol, tobacco, etc.
· Experience within a fast-paced and highly regulated industry is preferred.
· Multi-site distribution center leadership and operations experience is preferred.
· Proven track record of using analytical problem-solving skills to meet and exceed performance metrics.
· Demonstrated negotiation and influencing skills.
· Demonstrated written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
· Leads by example with a high level of integrity, personal motivation, team spirit and executes with a sense of urgency.

Are you an experienced paralegal looking for a career in the fast-paced and high-growth cannabis industry? Reporting directly into the Chief Legal Officer, you will be responsible for corporate and regulatory tasks and assist with maintaining corporate governance.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Act as a liaison among various internal departments as well as with third party vendors
- Review various types of contracts, agreements and summarize terms
- Draft various types of agreements
- Organize documents and coordinate document production
- Compose and prepare confidential correspondence, reports, and other documents
- Complete and submit various licensing application and documentation, including maintaining and applying for local and state cannabis licenses
- Updating corporate licenses, secretary of state documentation
- Draft board and stockholder meeting materials, minutes, and consents
- Maintain legal records, manage legal billing and organize litigation folders
- Prepare drafts of legal forms and letters
- Research legal topics
- Manage diligence requests and perform review of diligence materials as needed
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
· 3-5+ years of corporate transactional work
· Strong computer proficiency, especially with MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint)
· Solid organizational and time management skills with high attention to detail
· Great communication and interpersonal skills with a helpful, customer-service-oriented mindset
· Experience in cannabis industry is a plus
