We are looking for a high-performing Sales Director. The successful candidate will meet our customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives. Sales director responsibilities include developing key growth sales strategies, tactics and action plans. Successful execution of these strategies is required to achieve your financial targets. Sales director duties will include hitting annual targets, building relationships and understanding customer trends.
Responsibilities
- Own and hit/exceed annual sales targets within assigned territory and accounts
- Develop and execute strategic plan to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships
- Partner with customers to understand their business needs and objectives
- Effectively communicate the value proposition through proposals and presentations
- Understand category-specific landscapes and trends
- Reporting on forces that shift tactical budgets and strategic direction of accounts
Skills
- Understanding Cannabis Device Hardware is a plus!
- Proven sales executive experience, meeting or exceeding targets
- Previous experience as a sales executive, sales manager or sales and marketing director
- Ability to communicate, present and influence all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level
- Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close
- Proven ability to articulate the distinct aspects of products and services
- Proven ability to position products against competitors
- Demonstrable experience as head of sales, developing client-focused, differentiated and achievable solutions
- Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- BA/BS degree or equivalent

Pay: $45,208.00 - $60,000.00 per year

Key Responsibilities
- Manage multiple calendars and scheduling requirements
- Track and help drive completion of key deliverables and following up on outstanding items
- Update team organizational charts
- Light accounting responsibilities (Receivables and payables)
- Assist with light HR work (Communicate with our hired HR services)
- Manage simple finances and communication with clients for CEO
- Coordinate travel
- Assist with invoicing to HQ and Clients

JOB DESCRIPTION
The Vice President of Sales and Marketing charts the course, develops the vision, and implements the plan that will propel the company towards increased market share and greater brand recognition. Reporting directly to the CEO, the Vice President will be a strategic thinker with proven leadership experience. Accountable for delivering measurable results that achieves and exceeds revenue and margin targets, this position will be capable of contributing meaningful insight to the sales and marketing functions and play an integral role in the overall development of the organization.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILL SET & QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
- Serves as Chief Marketing Officer of the company, providing support in the area of marketing strategy and management; develop the annual marketing plan and the strategies, tactics and resources necessary to achieve goals
- Develop strategies and tactics for increasing market share within existing accounts and markets, while expanding into new selected verticals
- Develop and implement annual business plans and manage to monthly, quarterly and annual expense and revenue budgets

- A minimum of 10 years of marketing and sales experience with a demonstrated track record of accomplishments
- Strong leadership skills, able to lead change, mentor and motivate individuals
- Great track record of hiring and growing sales teams and ability to do so with speed
- Hands-on experience strategizing and negotiating complex sales deals
