ACCOUNTANT / BOOKKEEPER
Touchstone, a California cannabis enterprise that conducts manufacturing and distribution activities in Santa Ana, CA, is hiring an Accountant/Bookkeeper. This role is responsible for the full accounting lifecycle; including, but not limited to, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll and day-to-day accounting management. TheBookkeeper works closely with the CEO, COO, and operations and administrative teams to manage receivables/payables, daily cash flow and all general accounting functions. Experience with Acumatica is a plus. This role reports to the CEO and President.
Must have at least 2-years experience in the California cannabis industry. Must be knowledgeable of 280E and CA cannabis tax laws. Specific knowledge of cannabis manufacturing a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain accuracy of general ledgers
- Full cycle accounts receivable, including preparation of invoices and maintain records of all customers and vendors
- Process payroll through Homebase timesheets and Gusto payroll processing
- Preparation of monthly financial statements
- Daily reconciliation of all corporate accounts; including, but not limited to, bank accounts, and third-party payment accounts
- Following up with appropriate staff regarding discrepancies in transactions
- Reconciling General Ledger Accounts by analyzing and researching individual transactions as needed
