We are a full-service cannabis testing and research lab offering state-mandated testing services to California’s cannabis distributors, cultivators, and manufacturers to ensure safety and accurate labeling of products for medical and recreational use.
The Field Sampling Technician role is a key position responsible for collecting and documenting cannabis samples at client sites and bringing them to the lab. Great customer service, attention to detail and reliability are a must for this important role. This position has potential for advancement.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Collect field samples of cannabis products at client sites in accordance with state regulations and company procedures
- Accurately record sample information, taking great care to accurately record batch numbers and all details required for transport manifests
- Follow detailed procedures to ensure cleanliness and avoid contamination of samples being collected. This is essential a mobile laboratory position.
- Weigh samples with a field balance and record sample weights.
- Input data into company ordering and tracking system and double check for accuracy
- Drive to client sites and return samples to the laboratory all over Southern California
- Driving for multiple hours at a time
- Provide excellent customer service
- Build trust and rapport with clients
- Work efficiently and effectively under time constraints
- Maintain client confidentiality
- Follow safety procedures
Qualifications:
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Must be organized
- Must be punctual
- Customer Service experience
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in use of email, including Microsoft Outlook
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Must have valid California Drivers License and clean driving record
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associates or Bachelors degree in chemistry or biology highly preferred
- 1 or more years of laboratory experience
- Understanding of asceptic technique
- Experience in a cannabis testing laboratory or cannabis industry
- Knowledge of the Bureau of Cannabis Control regulations
- Knowledge of METRC
- Experience with various software including group messenger apps and Excel

About the opportunity: We are looking for a SALES MANAGER immediately to expand the company's sales and support the founding partners. We are vastly networked in cannabis science, sales and marketing, instrumentation, general industry, and R&D. Think20 is currently servicing many clients and is looking for a sales executive with deep relationships and an awareness of the cannabis testing landscape. We are launching many exciting programs and value ads that the cannabis industry will identify with and adopt. This is an opportunity to come into a young company with established dynamic assets of differentiation and be a partner with us. Think20 Labs has cleared all validation requirements with the BCC.
Duties & Responsibilities * Continuously work with Chief Marketing Officer to develop sales and client retention strategies * Research client prospects and apply customized targeted strategies for outreach. * Generate and qualify leads for the company’s cannabis testing services. * Field visits to client sites * Maintain accountability for sales goal achievement. * Establish sales reporting system and hold sales team accountable * Evaluate adequacy of existing CRM and implement new CRM if needed. * Ensure all sales activities are recorded in the CRM and extract meaningful metrics from it. * Coach and motivate sales team to achieve sales goals * Keep abreast of market trends and competitor pricing and offerings. * Identify new business opportunities * Attend networking events to meet prospective clients. * Manage accounts by providing customer service including maintaining timely and professional communication with clients and addressing customer complaints. * Adhere to company policies and state cannabis regulations regarding testing. * Stay up to date on company offerings, relevant regulations and company policies, industry trends.
Qualifications * Must be extremely driven, confident, and have a positive mindset. * Must be competitive and have a strong drive to win * Must be results-focused and accountable, * Must be self-motivated and have a strong work ethic. * Must have a successful history of bringing new accounts to a startup company. * Minimum of 1 year of previous cannabis industry sales management experience is required. * Minimum of 5-7 years in sales, and 3-5 years in a sales management role. * Experience operating within a startup company, and able to react to a constantly changing marketplace. * History of consistently hitting or exceeding sales goals in an outbound sales role. * Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills. * Accountability, follow-through, and transparency. * Sales leadership experience guiding a diverse team of independent contractors and sales professionals. * Experience implementing and using a CRM to track sales activities and KPIs. * Existing contacts within the Southern California cannabis market * Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation abilities * Proficient in Microsoft Office and Outlook * Valid driver's license and good driving record.
Preferred Qualifications * Bachelor's degree or higher in scientific field and/or MBA * Experience in a cannabis testing lab, contract research lab, or cannabis distributor * Previous experience building a sales team. * This position offers a base salary plus a generous commission rate.
