Our client in the Lafayette, NJ area is actively seeking motivated trimmers and processing agents to assist their team in their outdoor grow facility. We are looking for people who are looking to get into the cannabis industry and make a career out of it. This is an entry level position and there will be training.
Responsibilities: Main duties may include trimming cannabis flower and assisting around the facility when needed.Other duties may include labeling, assorting, boxing and inspecting equipment.

Our client in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan is looking to add a Director of Operations to their growing Michigan based Cannabis Operations. They are on track to be one of Michigan's largest Cannabis Company's. They hold multiple cannabis operational and real estate assets. They are a privately held and self-funded organization.
The Director of Operations will be working closely with the President and rest of the leadership team to establish and follow long-range goals, strategies, plans and policies to promote and support the vision of the Company and their operations.
Your focuses will include:
· Leading by example. This a hands-on operational management position. You will regularly be at the facilities driving accountability with the facility operational teams.
· Effectively manages current operations and promotes the development of new facilities and services to meet changing market demands in alignment with the organization’s strategic plan
· Affirm the Company vision and mission statement and upholds organizational core values
· Sets and takes direction from the leadership team to establish expectations and measurements for organizational achievements
· Leads in developing, monitoring and updating the organization’s operational control
· Guide operations to optimize efficiency, quality, service, and cost-effective management of resources
· Regularly reviews operational reports and aides in mentorship and critique, taking actions to assure favorable outcomes
· Compliance - Must possess a strong history of interaction with regulatory agencies. The focus must be to ensure that the organization is always staying compliant with State and Federal Law regarding the Cannabis Industry

Our client is hiring a President for their Michigan cannabis operations. Client Cannabis is located in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan and is comprised of multiple cannabis operational and real estate assets. Currently, Client is undertaking the following ventures:
1) Operating a 20,000 sq. ft. indoor grow facility in Battle Creek, Michigan.
2) Developing a 20-acre outdoor grow in outside of Arlington, Michigan (online April 2021).
3) Finalizing construction of a retail facility in Oakland County, Michigan (online February 2021).
4) Constructing multiple cultivation and retail facilities through southeastern Michigan (winter 2021).
5) Adding to its significant cannabis real estate portfolio for either future speculation or operations throughout Michigan.
Client is a self-funded, privately held company on track to be one of the largest cannabis companies in the State of Michigan. It is currently lead by its ownership team, but Client desires to empower a qualified President to lead Client moving forward.
The President is responsible for providing strategic leadership for the organization by working with ownership and the current leadership team to continue, establish and follow long-range goals, strategies, plans and policies to promote and support the vision of Client. The President is responsible to ensure that Client builds on its financially success and operates as a responsible steward of organizational revenue.
The President’s position requires the right skills and mindset to assess and mitigate principal risks and compliance of the organization’s business, together with its growth and profitability and ensures that appropriate management and technological systems are in place for delivering the expected services and performance Clients.

Summary: Our client located on the beautiful West side of Michigan is looking for a passionate and experienced Head Grower! This position will possess the responsibilities of overseeing day-to-day grow operations an indoor facility. Also, being responsible for leading the nutrient management program to ensure plant health and maximize yields while holding up to product standards or exceeding them. While also leading and coaching scouting and quality control techs and helping our client produce the best medicine for their users!
· Overseeing cannabis crops from planting to harvesting
· Ensuring facilities are clean and pest-free
· Managing all aspects of cultivation, including budget and employees
· Extensive knowledge of garden maintenance plus grow and trim rooms
· Able to work in collaboration with other experts
· Responsible for hiring and firing employees
· Expert in plant soil, nutrients, pH levels, and more
· Know which pests to use depending on the disease
· Understanding the light requirements for each plant
· Making sure the crops have the proper temperature, humidity, and ventilation
· Expert in state laws, Inventory and POS Systems
Requirements:
- Preferred bachelor’s degree in horticulture, plant pathology, biology, controlled environment agriculture (CEA), or equivalent years in indoor growing experience
- Experience with growing plans, integrated pest management, disease management, fertigation strategies, and plant nutrient management in a controlled environment

Position Summary:
The Manufacturing Manager will oversee and directly manage day-to- day manufacturing operations within the facility and ensure a safe, efficient, productive and positive work environment. This position will provide guidance and advice on best practices and will build an exceptional team and manufacturing operation.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Develop and maintain KPIs for monitoring operational efficiency of manufacturing programs
- Assist in Developing all company SOP’s as they relate to manufacturing processes
- Lead Staff to perform all the tasks necessary to produce products to high standards
- Oversees quality control measures to ensure high quality product
- Ensure departmental compliance with OSHA, state regulations and federal and state law
- Assure that operation adheres to all business and industry license requirements
- Assist with product development, process development, equipment selection and installation of manufacturing equipment in collaboration with vendors and partners
- Report daily, weekly and long-term production data to meet company standards and compliance requirements
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
- 6 plus years in manufacturing setting (2 years in Cannabis preferred)
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must obtain or be able to obtain proper cannabis badging required by state law
- Demonstrated ability to manage operations to established targets
- Experience in manufacturing/production environment
- Knowledge in environment, health and safety standards in agricultural operations
- Vendor and contract negotiation experience
- Experience in developing and implementing SOPs
