About The Job
The Administrative Assistant will be responsible for a variety of functions related to office organization, human resources, logistics, data entry, scheduling, hiring, ordering supplies, etc. This position requires the ability to multi-task while staying very organized. Attention to detail and excellent communication are a must. As this position may be representing the company on the phone and will be answering the front door when visitors arrive, it is important that this person presents themselves in a professional manner at all times. This role may span across different departments however it will largely be focused on aiding the manufacturing team at the facility in Desert Hot Springs, and working in conjunction with our HR and billing departments who are located in Northern California. This is a full time position at our facility in Desert Hot Springs, CA. The hours are M-F 8:30am-5pm.
Qualifications

What You Will Do
- Execute day to day office administration tasks
- Aid in HR related activities such as providing onboarding paperwork to new employees, scanning and uploading paperwork to HR folder, pre-screening applicants and scheduling interviews, posting job ads, and coordinating with the temp staffing agencies that we use.
- General office duties such as ordering supplies, organizing files, data entry, scheduling meetings and appointments for Directors/Executives
- Greeting visitors at the front door, signing in visitors and checking their IDs, walking people to the area of the facility they need to go to, giving tours of the facility as needed.
- Helping the manufacturing team source needed materials, requesting documents and quotes from manufacturers
- Filling out paperwork to set up new vendor accounts for company
- Communicating across departments as necessary
- Aiding in logistics and scheduling deliveries/pickups
- Acting as an assistant to the Directors/Executives on site
- Become proficient in Hubspot
- Circulate NDA’s as requested by Sales or QC

What You Will Do:
- Fulfill sales orders under direction of the Sales Team

The Role:
As a Pre-roll Technician you will be responsible for creating cannabis pre-rolls, ensuring that the pre-rolls are produced efficiently and to the highest quality standard. This includes weighing the filled pre-rolls and adding or subtracting cannabis until reaching the desired weight, twisting or folding the top of the pre-roll cone, and placing in the packaging. This position requires attention to detail and a willingness to follow the Standard Operating Procedures that are provided. You will be required to hit a production goal each week, and you will receive a pay increase after the first 30 days of hitting the goal consistently. As a contract manufacturer, most of this work is performed for other brands so it is even more important that these products are manufactured and packaged correctly. The pre-rolls must be packed properly for an even burn and must not have any holes in the cone paper. There will be automation and machinery used to expedite the pre-roll process, and you may be trained on how to use some of this equipment. You must work well with others and be mature enough to avoid conflicts, and resolve conflicts without drama when necessary. If you like being productive and staying focused on your work while listening to your favorite music/podcast with headphones then this is a great role for you! This position will report to the Pre-roll Team Coordinator and Packaging Manager.

The Client Services Specialist Role:
As a Client Services Specialist at ThePLANT, you will be responsible for managing and tracking all existing projects for a set number of current clients, as well as initiating and coordinating the undertaking of new projects for both new and existing clients. As part of these responsibilities, you will be required to actively communicate with the client and key personnel from all departments, including Sales, Product Development/R&D, Manufacturing, Procurement, Quality Assurance, Project Management, and Finance. It will be the responsibility of the Client Services Specialist to take notes during all client calls and team meetings for circulation to all key players. The Client Services Specialist may also be asked to assist in the onboarding of new clients. The Role:
As a Packaging Technician you will be responsible for ensuring that products are packaged compliantly in their retail ready packaging. This includes weighing the product, placing it in designated containers, sealing those containers, placing containers in further packaging, and applying labels and stickers.
