About the role:
They are looking for a Director of Growth Marketing to be responsible for defining strategy for cost-effective and sustainable client acquisition and retention. The Director of Growth Marketing will lead the execution by working with internal teams (sales/delivery/finance) and external partners to drive results across channels.
Key Job Responsibilities:
- First Six Months: Learn the businesses and solidify growth marketing strategy
- Learn the business and develop an intimate understanding client experience, service delivery,
and the client's industry role
- Gain full command of the existing marketing and brand environment – including marketing
and sales assets, technology ecosystem, business processes, and organizational structure
- Create quantifiable value creation plan and marketing roadmap with executive sponsorship
- Establish a metrics package (that will be refined over time) to monitor team performance and
progress, and key milestones to measure against the value creation plan and roadmap
- Develop relationships - internally and externally – and a deep understanding of the voice of
the customer to shape growth marketing strategy
- Review established vendor relationships, identify gaps, and develop a partner model to better
deliver against marketing and organizational goals
- Identify some “quick wins” to improve week over week marketing metrics and engagement
- Longer term: build repeatable processes and to create long-term value
- Implement repeatable, measurable marketing cadences across content creation, social media,
email, and web property channels
- Build a team to expand the scope and reach of the growth marketing function
- Partner with the sales teams to anticipate market trends and develop sales enablement,
marketing, and thought leadership content that meet awareness and conversion goals
- Continuously re-evaluate the marketing roadmap to meet or exceed industry best practices
and embrace new innovations or emerging technology
Critical Competencies
- Create a cadence around structured experimentation, try new things to scale existing channels and
identify new ones
- Develop and test hypotheses across social, search, email, SEO and on-site to maximize sales
enablement and awareness
- Own marketing and sales enablement content development to maximize reach and conversions
- Work with the executive leadership team to achieve growth goals across service offerings – including go-to-market and pricing strategy
- Implement and track accountability metrics and KPIs to ensure desired results are being achieved,
regularly reviewing performance, and adjusting to optimize based on data and research
Background and Experience Required:
- You are excited to lead growth in a fast-paced, solution-driven company and have a demonstrated
history of driving sustainable growth in a B2B services or alcohol industry role
- You are creative, data-informed, and know how to tell a great story
- You use both qualitative and quantitative data to inform your decisions
- You quickly build strong relationships internally and externally to incorporate stakeholder voices
Preferred Experience:
- Experience with B2B growth marketing and the beverage alcohol industry
- Detailed understanding and experience executing in ecommerce and direct-to-consumer
- Experience with content marketing and sales enablement content
- Experience with go-to-market strategy and pricing strategy for new product offerings
- Interest in the developing cannabis industry in the United States

Commitment Level: 40 hours per week, on-site, contract through August 2020
A rapidly growing, Chicago-based client who is a national cannabis consumer packaged goods company and retailer, is actively hiring for an Office Coordinator who will be reporting into their facility manager.
Due to rapid growth, this client is moving into a new office space and looking for this resource to help execute the project build-out for the move. Client recently hired an office manager who will be focused on large scale project management of the office move and needs support with the day to day duties. This is slated to be a 6-month project that could convert into a permanent opportunity
