Full Job Description
We are looking for individuals who strive to give excellent customer service. Employees are required to tender transactions and maintain compliance with all state and local regulations. Budtenders must be knowledgeable in all things cannabis and take great care and pride in helping patrons. It is of utmost importance that they are attentive in assisting with the selection of the best products for the customers' desired goal. Our budtenders are confident and comfortable in educating patrons on products and recommended dosing. In addition, applicants must be reliable and demonstrate the ability to perform efficient work methods, execute intake and verification processes, operate a POS system, proper cash handling procedures, and maintain the highest level of ethics and integrity.

Summary of essential job functions

· Monitor inventory levels, assess product needs and communicate them to the proper people
· POS operations including creating new orders, adjusting open orders, adding items, discounts, applying loyalty points, voiding items, cashing out orders and reprinting receipts
· Pass on information to upper management from patrons and vice versa
· Stay current on laws and city ordinances, as well as adherence to legal and company policies and procedures
· Communicate effectively with management and employees
· Work with others to maintain a collaborative and positive work environment

Education and Experience:
· High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
· Minimum of 2 years experience in Customer service focused role.
· Minimum of 1 year experience in Cannabis related field.
Typical Physical Demands:
· Work may require prolonged sitting/standing, some bending, stooping and stretching.
· Requires lifting up to 25 lbs.

Education:
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Experience:
- Customer Service: 2 years (Preferred)
- Cannabis: 1 year (Preferred)
- MUST BE 21+ WITH MEDICAL CANNABIS DOCTORS RECOMMENDATION
- Greet and welcome guests as soon as they arrive at the office
- Direct visitors to the appropriate person and office
- Answer, screen and forward incoming phone calls
- Ensure reception and sales area is tidy and presentable
- Provide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone/email
- Receive, sort and distribute daily mail/deliveries
- Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk (monitor logbook, issue visitor badges)
- Order front office supplies and keep inventory of stock
- Keep updated records of office expenses and costs
- Perform other clerical receptionist duties such as filing, photocopying
Skills
- Proven work experience as a Receptionist, Front Office Representative, Customer Sevice
- Proficiency with POS Systems and cash handling
- Professional attitude and appearance
- Solid written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise
- Excellent organizational skills
- Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
- Customer service attitude
- High school degree; additional certification in Office Management is a plus
