The Higher Collection is an Oakland-based recreational and medical cannabis delivery company, servicing more than 15 cities the Greater Bay Area. We are currently seeking a hard-working, detail oriented, and customer focused dispatcher to join our growing delivery team.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customers with exceptional customer service by phone, text and email.
• Set-up and Process customers orders using POS and Routing applications, including but not limited to Meadow, OnFleet, and WeedMaps.
• Develop and maintain rapport with our customers, partners and staff.
• Serve as front-line support for drivers in the field.
• Troubleshoot customers concerns and/or questions ensuring all issues are solved and answered promptly and efficiently, and communicate customer requests and/or problems to a manager when needed.
• Log operational issues. Suggest and implement process improvements.
• Proficiency in base Microsoft and Google programs.

Typical Physical Demands:

• Requires normal range of hearing.
• Requires healthy vision (aided or unaided).
• Requires lifting up to 50 pounds.

Education / Experience: High School Diploma Preferred

Reports to: Delivery Operations Director

Pay: $16.00 - $22.00 per hour

Job Duties:

• Develop efficient routes to ensure that deliveries are made in a timely fashion
• Maintain contact with drivers throughout their shifts and address any routing issues they might have
• Update customers on the status of their deliveries including any delays that occur
• Answer calls from delivery drivers and relay any emergencies they have to the appropriate channels

Skills and Qualifications

• Valid California drivers license

• Must be 21 years of age
• Must have a clean DMV record (proof of good driving record is required)
• Must have no felony convictions
• Knowledge of marijuana strains (indica, sativa, hybrids), edibles, extracts, CBD products and current products on the market.
• Must be friendly, outgoing, trustworthy, honest , dependable and hardworking.
• Must comply with an extensive background check

Driver Responsibilities

You will be responsible for completing scheduled deliveries to customers in the Oakland and San Francisco area. Other responsibilities will include but may not be limited to:

• Process and deliver customer orders using company approved software/apps and GPS.
• Package/Manage orders accurately, take cash payments and make accurate change.
• Provide excellent customer service by phone, text and during in-person deliveries.
• Develop and maintain rapport with customers and other staff members.
• Ensure customer questions and/or concerns are addressed promptly and efficiently and communicate with manager when needed.
• Obey all traffic laws and operate vehicles in a safe and efficient manner.
• Maintain strictest confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA guidelines.

Experience/Education

• Driving history: 3 years (preferred)

• Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

Hours

• Part time & Full time positions available

• 25- 40 hours/ week
• Applicants must have a flexible schedule and be able to work weekends and nights.
