RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Grower Assistant will be responsible for maintaining good sanitation practices in an indoor horticultural growing facility. Daily tasks include but are not limited to:
· Removal of leached nutrients from plant saucers using a vacuum
· Vacuuming, sweeping and mopping grow room floors and hallways
· Dish washing (pots, saucers, tools)
· Pruning plants
- May be requested to work in Trim department from time to time
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 2 years of previous grow experience is preferred
- Military service
- Candidate must be at least 21 years of age

Role Summary
The Assistant Dispensary Manager’s responsibilities include assisting in overseeing daily dispensary operations and is the secondary point of contact for all retail related matters. The Assistant Dispensary Manager will also coordinate with various teams to ensure proper pricing, advertising, and showcase highlights of our products. The Assistant Dispensary Manager is responsible for assisting in training and educating retail team members regarding proper sales techniques, de-escalation, ensuring customer satisfaction, as well as assisting in implementing proper sales growth strategies.
Primary Responsibilities
· Learn the ins and outs of the Point of Sale System
· Review and assist in receiving all deliveries with diligence and accuracy and in accordance with company and state regulations
· Create effective organization and information gathering for all inventory regarding special patient orders, employee patient samples, and weekly deals
· Track various sales metrics on a daily, weekly and monthly basis
· Assist with training of staff according to company guidelines
· Prepare and effectively lead state inspectors through unannounced inspections
· Maintain records for all necessary documents: delivery and inventory manifests, nightly and monthly inventory counts, necessary employee, and patient/customer information, logbooks, inventory adjustments, daily financial ledgers, and destruction reports
· Customer Care and Patient Satisfaction.
· Assist the Dispensary Manager in organizing, planning and implementing strategy
· Strong written and verbal communication skills with patients, to evaluate their needs and specifications
· Continuous and positive communication skills with team members, managers and owners.

Supervisory Authority
This position does not hold authority over any team member but does carry strong influence and opinion with regard to important matters such as changes to the retail and sales strategy, hiring and terminations, and performance reviews including disciplinary actions. This position reports to the Dispensary Manager. In the event the Assistant Dispensary Manager is Manager on Duty (MOD) in the absence of the Dispensary Manager, the Assistant Dispensary Manager may make changes to the daily retail sales strategy, suggest write ups and discipline, but may not hire or terminate or administer discipline.
Preferred Experience
· Bachelor's degree is Required
· 2 -3 years of strong retail, hospitality or customer facing experience.
· Proven organizational skills.
· Ability to effectively communicate with staff members and managers.

Role Summary
The Patient Consultant’s responsibilities include selling cannabis products to patients and customers which includes bundling and upselling to drive sales incentives. The Patient Consultant may infrequently cover for the Security Guard for breaks and to check IDs and may be asked to perform general custodial tasks such as cleaning and managing trash.

About the Role
The Inventory Specialist is a detail-oriented team member that focuses on accurate inventory counts and thrives in a fast-paced and changing environment. The Inventory Specialist will also maintain positive relationships with new and established vendors and will faithfully carry out their responsibilities in the most cost-efficient manner.
The schedule for this role is four days, ten hours each, on site, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday from 6AM to 4:30PM. Wednesdays are designated as “off” days, however mandatory overtime may be assigned infrequently and with advance notice.

The Trimmer is one of our most important roles who is responsible for trimming dried and cured cannabis plants, preparing product for sale or processing, and ensuring the quality of the product to be packaged. The Trimmer is responsible for cleanliness of themselves and the working area, protecting product from contamination and must clean equipment thoroughly to reduce any contamination.
Role Summary
The Trimmer trims dried and cured cannabis plants to prepare for packaging or processing while maintaining a clean and sanitized workstation.
Primary Responsibilities
· Adhere to state rules and regulations. Individual must conform to policies and procedures set forth by the Lead Trimmer and Post-Harvest Manager.
· Assist with trimming cannabis under the direction of the Lead Trimmer and Post-Harvest Manager and ensure harvest deadlines/trimming goals are met while maintaining a high-quality product.
· Operate trimming machines/equipment safely and efficiently.
· Assist with daily/weekly cleaning and maintenance of the trimming room and all trimming tools/equipment.
· Accurately measures and records precise plant/product weights within accepted variances.
· Complete all post-harvest paperwork/electronic forms accurately and timely.
· Assist with weekly shredding duties and disposal of plant waste material.
· Assists with other post-harvest related tasks when necessary.
· Trimmers must wear a valid, visible, and current Dispensary or Facility Agent card at all times.
· Protect medical marijuana from contamination and clean all medical marijuana processing equipment per established standard operating procedures.
· Maintain exemplary personal hygiene including maintaining kept, natural fingernails without polish, wearing PPE including gloves, apron, and lab coat.
· Must immediately report health conditions, which may adversely affect the safety or quality of marijuana to the Medical Director.

About the Role

Role Summary
The Social Media Coordinator is an entry-level professional, responsible for collecting, organizing, editing, and posting social media with particular focus on Instagram and TikTok. This role requires frequent travel within the Phoenix-Metro area with opportunity to connect with and establish contacts across the industry. Primary Responsibilities

Preferred Experience
· Two years of experience as a Social Media Coordinator or another role responsible for managing social media content on a daily basis
· Prior experience in the medical marijuana industry is preferred but not required

· Proven track record of developing a social media strategy for a company or brand, building new branding opportunities, and meeting deadlines

Job Responsibilities:
Maintain a clean and safe environment for employees and patients of GTD.

The Cultivation Manager leads and over sees operations throughout all cultivation and post-harvest departments. Provides guidance and direction to Cultivation, Post-Harvest and Trim staff. Genetic Stock (Mom room) Department:
· Coordinate with mom room cultivator to create strain selection schedules. (future production timeline)
o Mother rotation schedules

· Daily environment checks
· Verify healthy genetic stock
· Confirm successful propagation of future rooms
Vegetative Department:
· Verify plant creation and proper plant quantity to match flower schedule.
· Confirm that environmental checklist and plant maintenance matches protocol guidelines.
Flower Department:
· Daily verification of basic environmental and equipment checklist.
· Daily check that plant maintenance (pruning, defoliating, tie downs, etc.) matches the proper timeline and guidelines outlined in the flower stage protocol.

Integrated Pest Management:
· Coordinate with IPM specialist to identify pests and make decisions on control practices.

The Giving Tree Dispensary of Phoenix is an Arizona State Licensed Medical Cannabis Company. We are looking for a passionate, knowledgeable individual to join our Inventory Team as an Inventory Packager (FT) We offer a great work environment and we work hard to become your work-family. In this role you will be responsible for packaging all our products. Familiarity with cannabis is a plus.. This is a Full-Time position that requires about 35 - 40 hours per week. Must be available to work Monday through Friday. The Inventory Packager is detail oriented and must enjoy working in a fast-paced, precision driven environment. A covid 19 vaccination is required.
Inventory Packager Tasks:
- Packaging of all processed products: filling vape cartridges, capsules, bottles, etc. packaging products into bags, packaging shatter and other concentrates, labeling of all products
- Must have experience with an analytical scale, basic math, and measurement skills
- Packaging must be efficient, accurate, and completed in a timely fashion
- Responsible for fulfilling weekly product orders
- Ensures quality assurance of all packaged products as per established guidelines from the Inventory Manager

Position Summary:
As a Full-Time Delivery Driver for The Giving Tree Dispensary. you will be responsible for making deliveries of cannabis to our vendor locations throughout the state of Arizona. Our Delivery Driver will be responsible for following trip manifested routes efficiently to ensure timely deliveries that meet the delivery preferences of each vendor location as well. (i.e., during their business hours, contact prior to arrival, etc.) A Delivery Driver will also be expected to provide stellar customer service, be outgoing, helpful and extremely reliable. Following all state laws and regulations without fault is required as well.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Start and end the day at the 'home location' in North Phoenix
- Safely transport orders to dispensaries/vendor locations
- Proper cash handling and acceptance of cash payments
- Knowledge of GPS systems and how to route plan efficiently
- Keep detailed records on all vehicle maintenance and issues
- Complete all necessary paperwork for deliveries (Manifests, Invoices, Testing)
- Open communication with Inventory Manager, Sales Manager, and Sales Associates whenever necessary
- Interact with and develop friendly relationships with dispensaries and vendors. Become a subject matter expert on our product offerings.
- Review orders before and after delivery to ensure that orders are complete and accurate
- Return company vehicle daily, full of fuel, in complete working order, report any mechanical issues and responsible to schedule necessary maintenance around delivery schedule
- Ability to utilize personal Vehicle when necessary, and properly track mileage for expenses.
- Must have a thorough understanding of all state regulations related to delivery/distribution of medical cannabis and ensure full compliance by all department staff.
- Any free time while not out delivering will be spent assisting with pop-ups scheduled in advance by sales representatives or at the home location assisting with distribution, order fulfillment, packaging, cultivating, cleaning, etc.
- Always representing the Brand in a professional manner. Developing positive relationships with dispensaries. Exceptional customer service is essential.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be an Arizona resident with no felony convictions, successfully pass an extensive background check, and be a minimum of 25 years of age
- Must be punctual in all deliveries and day to day activities.

Job Responsibilities:

Open the door for all patients walking into the Dispensary
Ensure that the Dispensary lobby does not exceed six patients. Report any suspicious activity by patients or employees to the Owner and/or manager for immediate security camera review

Personnel Duties and Responsibilities:
- Adhere to state rules and regulations. Individual must conform to policies and procedures set forth by the Lead Trimmer and Post-Harvest Manager.
- Assist with trimming cannabis under the direction of the Lead Trimmer and Post-Harvest Manager and ensure harvest deadlines/trimming goals are met while maintaining a high quality product.

Inventory Packager Tasks:
- Packaging of all processed products: filling vape cartridges, capsules, bottles, etc. packaging products into bags, packaging shatter and other concentrates, labeling of all products

The Assistant Dispensary Manager plays a vital role in being the connector point between management and all other staff.
The Assistant Dispensary Manager will help plan and manage all aspects of the day to day operations, including managing personnel, establishing strong customer relationships, inventory control and handling the daily ebb and flow of all store related matters while adhering to strict state guidelines and regulations. What we need from you:
- Customer Service - Putting the customer first - monitor and analyze current and ongoing service. Get to know our customers and resolve any service issues. Observe and coach the team to improve the overall experience for our customers.

The Lab Capsule Technician/Packager will be working in the lab on a capsule banding machine. Training will be required to learn how to operate this piece of machinery. This process is labor intensive and requires high attention to detail, and the ability to stand or sit for long periods of time. The movements involved are highly repetitive. This is a full-time position requiring between 35 – 40 hours per week, Monday – Friday. Hire in rate is $13.50/hr. Experience in the cannabis industry is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities include:
· This machine requires frequent adjustments for proper banding of capsules. Capsules will be hand loaded into capsule slats which are then loaded into the machine for banding
· Capsule technician will be responsible for quality checks after banding to ensure proper sealing, proper maintenance and operations of the banding machine
· Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision after training. Other duties may arise as needed such as product prep work and packaging.
· Time management; employee must manage their time during work efficiently in order to meet goals while consistently producing quality product.
· Employee must be able to follow basic instructions as well as be able to take constructive criticism from their managers so they can help maintain quality standards and production goals.
· Employee must show up on time for work every day ready to work.
· Employee must exhibit personal hygiene and follow the health guidelines set forth by the company and the state while processing marijuana.

Job Responsibilities:

Security personnel must wear a valid and current Dispensary Agent card, which is visible at all times
Responsible for the protection and safety of clientele, employees and company assets from theft, assault, fire, and other safety concerns
Responds immediately to security related incidents and provides detailed post-event analysis and serious incident reports to the Owner and manage
Physical inspection of the property at the beginning and end of each workday for any physical abnormalities or apparent anomalies
Serves as a liaison for law enforcement and emergency services
Responsible for creating safety protocols for the site. Train all staff on these protocols. Trainings should be done quarterly, and attendance tracked for AZDHS compliance.
Physical inspection of all security cameras, door alarms and access control areas to ensure that they are each in good working condition.
Report any anomalies in the physical structure of the building or any defect or breach in the security system to the Owner, manager and security company monitoring GTD
Ensure that no patients enter or leave GTD if there is any breach in the physical plant or security system while the patients are inside
Ensure that NO ONE aside from the Owner and police enter the building if a security breach occurs before business hours. The Owner will supervise any investigation of a breach that is led by the security company
May be asked to supervise loading of all shipments from the Dispensary to be sent for deliveries or to other dispensaries

Open the door for all patients walking into the Dispensary

The Giving Tree Dispensary of Phoenix is an Arizona State Licensed Medical Cannabis Company. We are looking for a passionate, knowledgeable individual to join our Cultivation Team as a Grower. We offer a competitive salary and benefits.
In this role you will be responsible for helping the Grow Department meet the production demand quantity and quality for the company’s wholesale and retail mission, vision, goals, and objectives. RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Fundamental knowledge, as well as the ability to be taught and guided in areas related to harvesting, drying, trimming and curing.

- Manage plants from vegetative state until harvest.
- Oversee all the tasks in the grow including: cloning, transplanting, feeding plants, defoliation,
topping, flushing, foliar and preventative sprays, waste disposal and inventory management.
- Work closely with other grow team members and the Cultivation Manager on daily basis.
- Manage plant scheduling and organization.
- Data tracking of plants
- Execute preventative maintenance and elimination of all types of mold, powdery mildew, spider mites, root aphids, fungus gnats, etc.
- Must have accountability, proactive behavior and strong attention to detail.
- Develop and maintain knowledge of plant diseases, insects and fungi, as well as legal plant
treatment options. This must include a keen eye for spotting issues before they become aproblem.
- Comply with all HR policies including confidentiality and non-disclosure.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Horticulture or other plant science.
- 2 years of previous grow experience is preferred
- Candidate must be at least 21 years of age
- No felony convictions
- Must be willing to participate in an extensive background check
- Must be trustworthy and hardworking
- Must have reliable transportation
- Excellent time-management skills
- Ability to effectively plan and prioritize
- Physical aptitude and health necessary to perform manual labor tasks required for the proper management of grow warehouse.

Job Description: Inventory Packager
We are looking for someone to join our Team as an Inventory Packager. We are a growing cannabis company with many opportunities in a new exciting industry. This is a Part-Time position (Mon – Wed..). The Inventory Packager is responsible for packaging of all processed products and flower and is responsible for complete compliance with all associated rules and regulations pertaining to medical marijuana. This position reports directly to the Inventory Manager.

Tasks:

Job Responsibilities:
Maintain a clean and safe environment for employees and patients of GTWC.
Security personnel must wear a valid and current Dispensary Agent card, which is visible at all times
Responsible for the protection and safety of clientele, employees and company assets from theft, assault, fire, and other safety concerns
Responds immediately to security related incidents and provides detailed post-event analysis and serious incident reports to the Owner and manage
Physical inspection of the property at the beginning and end of each workday for any physical abnormalities or apparent anomalies
Serves as a liaison for law enforcement and emergency services
Responsible for creating safety protocols for the site. Train all staff on these protocols. Trainings should be done quarterly, and attendance tracked for AZDHS compliance.
Physical inspection of all security cameras, door alarms and access control areas to ensure that they are each in good working condition.
Report any anomalies in the physical structure of the building or any defect or breach in the security system to the Owner, manager and security company monitoring GTD
Ensure that no patients enter or leave GTD if there is any breach in the physical plant or security system while the patients are inside
Ensure that NO ONE aside from the Owner and police enter the building if a security breach occurs before business hours. The Owner will supervise any investigation of a breach that is led by the security company
May be asked to supervise loading of all shipments from the Dispensary to be sent for deliveries or to other dispensaries
Monitor patients through the dispensary lobby door in to the Dispensary Waiting Area
Open the door for all patients walking into the Dispensary
Ensure that the Dispensary lobby does not exceed six patients. Report any suspicious activity by patients or employees to the Owner and/or manager for immediate security camera review
Minimum Qualifications:
All security personnel will have to take and pass a security guard training course. They will be required to re-train every 12 months and keep a record of their training certificate on file with the Dispensary and HR.

The Capsule Technician will be working in the lab on a capsule banding machine. Training will be required to learn how to operate this piece of machinery. This process is labor intensive and requires high attention to detail, and the ability to stand or sit for long periods of time. The movements involved are highly repetitive. This is a full-time position requiring between 35 – 40 hours per week, Monday – Friday. Hire in rate is $13.00/hr. Experience in the cannabis industry is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities include:
· This machine requires frequent adjustments for proper banding of capsules. Capsules will be hand loaded into capsule slats which are then loaded into the machine for banding
· Capsule technician will be responsible for quality checks after banding to ensure proper sealing, proper maintenance and operations of the banding machine
· Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision after training. Other duties may arise as needed such as product prep work and packaging.
· Time management; employee must manage their time during work efficiently in order to meet goals while consistently producing quality product.
· Employee must be able to follow basic instructions as well as be able to take constructive criticism from their managers so they can help maintain quality standards and production goals.
· Employee must show up on time for work every day ready to work.
· Employee must exhibit personal hygiene and follow the health guidelines set forth by the company and the state while processing marijuana.
Required Qualifications:
- MUST BE 21 YEARS OF AGE
- Minimum requirement of an associate degree from an accredited college or vocational school
- A familiarity with working in a lab setting is preferred
- Prior work experience in a professional medical/environmental/scientific laboratory performing duties related to this position
- Experience with software applications such as Excel, Word, and LIMS
· Must pass a fingerprint and background check
