The Senior Accountant-CPA, must have the proven ability to research, reconcile and resolve complex balance sheet account reconciliation issues. This role will be responsible for managing the overall accounting operations of the company's accounting department, reconciling accounts, and finalizing financial reports to discuss with executive management. The Senior Accountant-CPA will resolve account discrepancies, analyze the company's financial status, and verify financial transactions. We need a highly analytical person who will provide strategic recommendations to prevent overspending and increase efficiency across all departments to drive more revenues and profits, while minimizing the financial risk of the company.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Perform variance analysis and be able to explain accounting and business cause and effect of a situation in a timely and accurate manner.
- Support a “continuous accounting environment” where we don’t just focus on month end close activities, but rather a continuous approach to recording transactions and activity.
- Understanding of multi-entity environment and financial reporting requirements
- Support of audit requests and provide management support for various external and internal audits, to include planning, communication, tracking and review of selections and schedules assigned through management.
- Organizing and updating accounting records as needed.
- Perform month end close activities, including journal entries and reporting. Assist with monthly, quarterly and year end closing.
- Reconciliations of GL and Accounts Variance analysis and adjusting entries.
- Assist with the preparation of quarterly and annual filings as required by agencies.
- Research and resolve vendor invoice discrepancies. Maintain vendor files and records (physical or electronic).
- Prepare P&L Statements all the way through 3rd party audit / 3rd party CPA reviewed financials
- Participate in budgeting processes.
- Brief senior managers regularly on the company’s financial status.
- Performs other duties as assigned and necessary to support management objectives and goals.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field required.
- Licensed CPA or current exam candidate pursuing CPA license.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in an accounting related discipline, including general ledger, month-end-close and preparing financials.
- Highly proficient with MS Excel and Word and be able to create and use pivot tables with large amounts of data.
- Accountability mindset with ability to support a mentoring role with others throughout our finance and accounting organization.
- Solid knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), technically strong.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
- Proven work experience as a Certified Public Accountant or Senior Accountant.
- Thorough knowledge of accounting and financial procedures.
- Complex invoicing and commission schedules.
- QuickBooks experience required.
- Salesforce experience required.

- Assist with the preparation of quarterly and annual filings as required by agencies.
- Research and resolve vendor invoice discrepancies. Maintain vendor files and records (physical or electronic).
- Prepare P&L Statements all the way through 3rd party audit / 3rd party CPA reviewed financials
- Participate in budgeting processes.
- Brief senior managers regularly on the company’s financial status.
- Performs other duties as assigned and necessary to support management objectives and goals.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field required.
- Licensed CPA or current exam candidate pursuing CPA license.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in an accounting related discipline, including general ledger, month-end-close and preparing financials.
- Highly proficient with MS Excel and Word and be able to create and use pivot tables with large amounts of data.
- Accountability mindset with ability to support a mentoring role with others throughout our finance and accounting organization.
- Solid knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), technically strong.

Account Managers will manage a portfolio of accounts and are responsible for building strong client relationships, developing account management strategies, coordinating with internal teams to deliver solutions that meet clients’ needs, and identifying opportunities to grow accounts.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Maintain, develop and create strong client and supplier relationships: domestic and international.
- Overseeing planning, coordination, and control of each project
- Work directly with our sales team on account management of product sales cycle for new and existing clients including purchase order, order entry, product delivery, and payment collection.
- Work directly with our vendors domestically and internationally to ensure orders will be completed in a timely manner, set up 3rd party quality control inspection, and organize freight.
- Daily correspondence with customers, suppliers, and inner-office team members
- Oversee the planning, coordination, and cost control of each project.
- Prepare weekly client reports & dashboards
- Address and identify customer needs.
- Product and service presentations to both small and large groups
- Address and Identify customers needs
- Collections
- Work directly with Project Manager to establish and grow book of business
TIME MANAGEMENT:
Candidate must efficiently manage its time and resources to effectively execute all the objectives laid out above.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Must have a B.A./B.S. in Business Administration/Management/Marketing
- 2-3 years of Account Management / Sales Support Experience
- Proven ability to organize and effectively manage multiple clients with multiple revenue streams while continually developing and managing new clients.
- A demonstrated ability to proactively provide creative ideas and solutions.
- Superior verbal and written communication skills. Must be detail oriented.
- Experience using Microsoft Office Suite. The ideal candidate will have an intermediate skill level in Excel.
- Ethical, goal-oriented, and passionate about your work.
- Professional, outgoing, and articulate.
- Experience working in a start-up environment preferred.
- Experience working with suppliers and manufacturers in international locations preferred.

Qualifications

Overall Purpose:
