Job Description
Seeking an experienced accountant / full charge bookkeeper to work in our cannabis extraction and processing lab located in San Francisco. The potential candidate will be responsible for general accounting functions including general ledger and financial reporting. This position reports to the CFO.
Job duties:
Prepare and post customer invoices and cash receipts;
Full accounts payable processing;
Month end tasks including journal entries, reconciliations and reporting;
Periodic reconciliation of accounting data with METRC Track & Trace Systems;
Periodic inventory reconciliation
Ability to resolve any conflict respectfully and in a timely manner, addressing and resolving problems in order to create a culture of engagement and high-performance.
Other miscellaneous administrative or accounting tasks as necessary
Requirements:
Must be at least 21 years of age
Must be able to pass a criminal background check
Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent industry experience
Quickbooks and Microsoft Office experience;
Experience with MRP systems
Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment
Effective communication skills
Strong work ethic
Attention to detail
Ability to work alone or with others
Ability to follow instructions and protocols
Time management skills
Ability to work a flexible schedule that may include weekends and/ or holidays

Job Title: Customer Relations and Inventory Workflow Manager
Pay: $18-$25/hr
General Summary:
Locals Distro is a fully licensed third-party cannabis distributor based in San Francisco. Located just steps away from the Dog Patch. Locals represents equity brands and is involved with brands by well known players in the music industry. Applicants must have a passion for social equity.
Responsibilities:
- Track, manage and maintain inventory of all cannabis products on site
- Generate paperwork and manifests for all incoming and outgoing product/orders
- Processes and creates UID tags
- Maintain database (METRC) and generate stickers for COA’s on all cannabis related products, as needed
- Communicate with and figure out logistics for customers, vendors, drivers, and sales team regarding all incoming and outgoing orders
- Perform audits, pull and package orders and ensure accuracy of counts
- Work closely with customer brands on all logistics related to testing, packaging and product launch
- Communicate and manage relationship with BCC regarding failed tests, mandated destruction and other compliance issues
- Generate work orders for any task that needs to happen internally in the lab
