Job Summary:
Responsible for leading the dispensary’s inventory activities that include receiving and recording new product, moving product within the dispensary as needed and effectively monitoring supply to ensure that there are no shortages. Also responsible for assisting the Dispensary Manager with the daily dispensing operations and ensuring all policies and procedures related to dispensing activities are followed.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate counts of all cannabis inventory by doing daily counts and performing reconciliations when necessary.
- Restock day storage inventory from the vault.
- Ensures all relevant day-to-day operations are in alignment with company standards.
- Meets operational expectations and maintains high product quality standards by upholding all company policies, procedures, and security protocols.
- Manage and update digital menus to ensure accuracy against current inventory.
- Support open and closing measures as required.
- Ensure all product received is tagged according to state and local regulations and is accompanied by all necessary documents.
- Reconcile inventory with State reporting system and POS system to ensure that all information is accurately porting to the state and no malfunctions of the POS and scales are occurring.
- Keep a clean and well-organized vault area that allows for unencumbered access to product, sinks, cleaning areas, and inventory desk.
- Provide coaching and development opportunities to Lead Dispensary Agents regarding inventory best practices.
- Understand and continuously research state and local laws regarding cannabis compliance and regulatory control measures.
- Maintain delivery records and invoices in accordance to company SOPs.
- Assist retail leadership with quarterly and third-party audits when applicable.
- Record and submit inventory data to accounting.
- Provide ad hoc reports requested by the General Manager.
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- At least 1 year(s) of prior management experience dealing directly with store inventory.
- 2+ years’ experience working within a retail or hospitality setting.

Qualification:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 1 years of retail experience
- Superior customer service skills and phone etiquette
- Point-of-Sale (POS)/cash register experience with speed and accuracy
- Ability to use standard office equipment, computer equipment and software including word processing, database management, spreadsheet applications and email
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage high stress situations, and be flexible and adaptable when a situation requires it
- Ability to communicate clearly and accurately
- Must comply with state regulations and guidelines
- Minimum of 21 years of age
- Must possess a valid driver’s license or state ID
- Must be and remain compliant with any and all legal or company regulations for working in the industry
