Position: Extraction Technician
Reports to: Lab Director
We are currently seeking a reliable, hard-working production team member for our expanding operation. In this role, you will be a valuable part of our production team, ensuring our production quotas are met in a timely fashion while observing the highest standards of safety and quality. This position shares responsibility for the maintenance of equipment used. The Extraction Technician will be working side by side with the Lab Director.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work on the production line with consistent speed and accuracy
- Ensure that production requirements and standards are met consistently
- Make every effort to increase productivity and efficiency without compromising quality
- Assist with manufacturing of products and order fulfillment
- Complete packaging tasks such as box assembly, packing, and taping
- Work cooperatively with the production team to meet quotas and goals
- Observe all safety guidelines and report safety concerns to management
- Follow all written and verbal instructions
- Attend all safety and production trainings
- Follow all pertaining S.O.P.’s
- Tend to solvent equipment and non-solvent refinement equipment that extracts and refines oil from a variety of cannabis plant material
- Perform preparation of cannabis materials for extraction
- Perform ETOH extraction of cannabis material
- Perform de-waxing and concentrations of cannabis extracts
- Observe and monitor temperatures, pressures, weights and other process parameters on the extraction and processing equipment
- Record key process information as required on work orders and other forms throughout the extraction and production processes
- Setup, clean, maintain and repair extraction and production equipment
- Use personal protective equipment as required. Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
- Keep organized records of procedures and results
- Perform weekly safety checks of lab and attend section meetings as required
- Provide feedback to Lab Director to improve process quality and efficiency
- Assist and work with inventory manager to ensure supply chain stability
- Perform other duties as necessary
- Assist in bringing all production documents are accurate and up to date
- Assist in formatting and building KPI, schedule and tracking spread sheets
- Assist with schedule and shift management
- Assist in writing new process documentation and SOP’s for new equipment
- Assist in equipment tagging and documenting
- Compliance checklist and bi-weekly internal audit
- Bridge communications between production and operations
- Assist with daily totals, yields and goals- update electronically
REQUIREMENTS
- Must be 21 years of age and eligible for agent and work cards as required by state and local governments
- 1+ years experience in a regulated cannabis industry
- You will need to be reliable and punctual, able to perform physical tasks that are repetitive and lift up to 50 lbs
- Able to work overtime as needed, including swing shifts and weekends.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
Pay Frequency:
- Bi weekly or Twice monthly
