Our Sales Associates are responsible for helping guests, checking them out, cash handling and customer service. Associates must possess the ability to listen well and communicate effectively with various audiences. As a budtender, you must possess a deep understanding of the products and answer any question regarding strain type and use of product. Sweet Dirt is willing to train the canna-curious; novice cannabis users are encouraged to apply. A strong customer-centric mindset is preferred of all applicants.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Responsible for sales and customer experience by maintaining a tidy, safe, and inviting retail environment
- Able to talk about use of cannabis in a professional and respectful way
- Maintain product knowledge
- Ensure the sales floor is properly stocked and the presence of the store is well maintained
- Greeting customers warmly when they enter
- Accurately use and maintain the Point of Sale (POS) systems Cannabis 365 and METRC
- Correct cash handling and discount application
- Verifying proper paperwork, documentation and ID for patients and guests
- Promote a work environment that is positive, customer-service oriented, and compliant with established policies, procedures, and regulations
- Responsible for completion and renewal of regulated/mandatory trainings and certifications
- Other duties as assigned by the Management Team

The Deliver Technician is responsible for the safe, compliant, and timely delivery of products from our headquarters or vendors to our stores or customers. The Delivery Technician will be required to spend at least 50% of their time on the road and will be relied upon to stick to prepared schedules. The ideal Delivery Technician should be reliable, able to work independently, an unafraid to ask questions or raise observed issues through the proper channels.
Ideal candidates would be a legal resident of Maine, have experience in cannabis compliance, and provide proof of a clean driving record.
Key Tasks:
- Coordinate deliveries of all outgoing wholesale orders which includes prior to delivery supporting the intake of all Wholesale Customer Onboarding Documentation but not limited to reviewing METRC Transport Manifests, COAs, and Scale Records for each Wholesale Customer’s Orders.

Key Tasks:

The Outside Sales Representative will work closely with the Director of Product and Sales to nurture and maintain business to business relationships with other medical and recreational dispensaries throughout the State of Maine. - Self-generate leads through cold calls, email and stops to build a robust sales pipeline
- Transports products from business to business in compliance with state and municipal regulations sometimes traveling 100+ miles a day
- Utilizes and updates ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) to ensure accurate reporting and product tracking
- Ensures customer satisfaction through ongoing communication and relationship management

The Deliver Technician is responsible for the safe, compliant, and timely delivery of products from our headquarters or vendors to our stores or customers. The ideal Delivery Technician should be reliable, able to work independently, an unafraid to ask questions or raise observed issues through the proper channels.
Ideal candidates would be a legal resident of Maine, have experience in cannabis compliance, and provide proof of a clean driving record.
Key Tasks:
- Coordinate deliveries of all outgoing wholesale orders which includes prior to delivery supporting the intake of all Wholesale Customer Onboarding Documentation but not limited to reviewing METRC Transport Manifests, COAs, and Scale Records for each Wholesale Customer’s Orders.
- Reviews transport manifests to ensure that all appropriate packages are loaded into vehicle.

Our Sales Associates are responsible for helping guests, checking them out, cash handling and customer service. Associates must possess the ability to listen well and communicate effectively with various audiences. As a budtender, you must possess a deep understanding of the products and answer any question regarding strain type and use of product. Sweet Dirt is willing to train the canna-curious; novice cannabis users are encouraged to apply. A strong customer-centric mindset is preferred of all applicants.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Responsible for sales and customer experience by maintaining a tidy, safe, and inviting retail environment
- Able to talk about use of cannabis in a professional and respectful way
- Maintain product knowledge
- Ensure the sales floor is properly stocked and the presence of the store is well maintained
- Greeting customers warmly when they enter
- Accurately use and maintain the Point of Sale (POS) systems Cannabis 365 and METRC
- Correct cash handling and discount application
- Verifying proper paperwork, documentation and ID for patients and guests
- Promote a work environment that is positive, customer-service oriented, and compliant with established policies, procedures, and regulations
- Responsible for completion and renewal of regulated/mandatory trainings and certifications
- Other duties as assigned by the Management Team

Production Assistants should have strong attention to detail, be able to follow verbal and written instructions closely, and work at a steady pace. Prior cannabis experience is preferred, but not required. Positive attitude and team mentality is a must.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Performance daily maintenance checks to ensure equipment is cleanly and operating appropriately
- Maintain a high degree of order and cleanliness in all areas of the processing facility
- Prepare packaging for various products; including stickers, tubes, boxes, and jars.
- Hand trim plants correctly in preparation for packaging

- Using lab machinery to produce concentrates and pre-rolls
- Occasionally assist with the curing and harvesting

- Performance daily maintenance checks to ensure equipment is operating appropriately
- Maintain an orderly and clean canopy in the flower rooms while spotting for signs of plant stress or disease
- Report any problems with plant health to team lead
- Ensure irrigation is reaching each plant daily
- Care for mother plants including transplanting, pruning, and irrigation
- Take cuttings from mother plants and efficiently create batches of clones
- Transplant and irrigate clones for vegetative growth
- Transplant and secure irrigation components to plants in flower rooms
- Trellising plants during flowering cycle
- Harvest plants and properly load into drying racks
- Maintain a high degree of order and cleanliness in the working and growing areas of the cultivation facility
