Position Overview:

Looking for someone who has a passion for online marketing and is eager to learn. This candidate will be given significant opportunity to play a major role in a growing online business. Seeking candidate with a can-do attitude, strong work ethic and extreme attention to detail. This position will assist Director of Marketing and act as a key player in the business.

We are a vertically integrated growing brand of kratom herbal supplements. Kratom is an emerging category experiencing strong growth, following a similar path that the CBD industry trailblazed. The herb is related to the coffee plant, has been described as
“the next cannabis” by researchers, and is popularly used as a natural remedy for pain, anxiety, and depression. Super Speciosa offers a product backed by an industry leading quality control program and beats its competitors in terms of transparency, cleanliness, and potency while providing great value.
It's important for the candidate to understand that while kratom helps people, it carries a stigma (like cannabis). The FDA does not like kratom but its thinking has evolved. As we saw with cannabis, regulations are being put in place at the state level for kratom because the federal government is not acting. We look at this as a very positive development and think there is massive growth potential as the regulatory framework is built.
Position: Marketing Assistant
Responsibilities:
- Assist team with administrative tasks consisting of Copywriter, Content Writer, Creative Director/Designer, SEO Manager,
Affiliate Manager, Brand Sponsorships / Media Buyer.
- Set up weekly email and text promotions in Klaviyo with help from Copywriter and Marketing Director.
- Manage ecommerce website updates such as new product listings (Wordpress/WooCommerce). Work with Customer
Service to identify website bugs and work with developer to fix and test updates.
- Compose and post online content for the company’s social media pages and website.
- Identify content gaps on website. Work with Content Writer, Creative Director, and SEO Manager to make website updates and publish new content.
- Manage paid ad campaigns including Facebook (limited due to category), display ad retargeting and other opportunities.
Work with Director of Marketing to rotate in new graphics on a regular basis.
- Project manage various marketing initiatives in collaboration with CEO on an ad-hoc basis
- Assist in creation of marketing collateral for B2C and B2B marketing initiatives
Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of Marketing experience (digital preferred)
- Experience with email & SMS marketing platforms such as Klaviyo or Mailchimp is a plus
- Experience with CRM tools (WordPress/Shopify, Google AdWords, and online analytics)
- Ability to multi-task and meet strict deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently on projects.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year

Responsibilities:
- Assist Marketing Director with strategic marketing initiatives to acquire new customers, increase average order value and lifetime value
- Create and optimize customer re-engagement strategies and email flows to maximize LTV and customer retention
- Assist team with website design update / rebranding. Work in collaboration with Creative Director and SEO Manager.
- Manage paid ad campaigns and track performance
- Manage promotional calendar and email/text promotions
- Assist with project management working closely team consisting of Copywriter, Content Writer, Creative Director/Designer, SEO Manager, Affiliate Manager, Brand Sponsorships / Media Buyer).
- Project manage various marketing initiatives in collaboration with CEO on an ad-hoc basis
- Create marketing collateral for B2C and B2B marketing initiatives in collaboration with Creative Director
Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of experience in digital marketing (ecommerce preferred)
- Experience with digital marketing tools (Mailchimp, Klaviyo, Google Analytics, Google Ads, Facebook Ads, Wordpress/WooCommerce, Shopify)
- Strong analytical skills
- Ability to multi-task and meet strict deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently on projects.

Primary role will be handling customer service inquiries by email, phone and chat. Role will expand as candidate demonstrates ability to take on new responsibilities. Responsibilities:
- Respond to customer service inquiries via email, chat and phone. Work with fulfillment team to satisfy customer requests.

- Enter and edit orders in the WooCommerce CRM.
- Take the extra mile to engage customers.
- Maintain organization and cleanliness of office area.
Qualifications:
- Proven customer support experience or experience as a Customer Service Representative.
- Familiarity with CRM systems such as WooCommerce, Shopify, etc
- Familiarity with ShipStation or other shipping management applications
- Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively.
