Job Title: Extraction Technician II- graveyard shift (6pm-8am)
Reports to: Director of Extraction

Position Summary: The Extraction Technician II is an intermediate-level position; this position is responsible for executing the basic technical, mechanical and administrative skills to keep the cannabis extraction processes operational. Primarily this means performing tasks to start, maintain and complete the supercritical fluid extraction process, including independently operating the equipment properly.
The technician will already be at a proficient level of basic extraction with the ability to identify problems, and will have the opportunity to further develop the operational and critical thinking skills required to participate in problem-solving and trouble-shooting issues. In addition, the technician will assume responsibility for applying experiential knowledge throughout the course of their employment, as well as demonstrate critical thinking and resourcefulness.
Essential Functions:
- Proficiently and independently run the supercritical carbon dioxide extraction equipment
- Ability to fill out required batch documentation and any related paperwork accurately and precisely
- Ability to identify possible systematic improvements, and increase in production efficiencies
- Ability and willingness to learn and apply problem-solving and troubleshooting skills to identify and understand root causation of issues
- Ability and willingness to work under and take direction from Lead Technicians and/or Management

Position Summary:
This position is responsible for assisting with fulfilling laboratory orders by assisting with and fulfilling all orders that come through. This includes filling product in syringes/cartridges/bulk oil tubs and packaging itemsinto their correct packages to prepare for daily deliveries.
Essential Functions:
· Maintain a clean workstation at all times.
· Fulfill orders that come through the lab including:
o Filling ½ gram and full gram syringes.
o Filling bulk oil into tubs.
o Filling cartridges with CO2 oil.
· Packaging finished product.
· Responsible for quality assurance and quality control checks on all product, including random checks ofproducts on shelves.
· Stickers finished product.
· Make cases of finished product.
· Assist with cleaning the warehouse daily.

Schedule: 40+ hour work week Friday – Sunday 12-hour Shift. One 4-hour shift during the week.
Position Summary: The Production Technician (PT) is responsible for management, operation and maintenance of large-scale supercritical fluid extraction and refinement processes for cannabis.
This involves running and maintaining a 100-liter super critical fluid extractor as well as oversee filtration and evaporation operations. The PT will plan, coordinate, direct, execute, and document the related activities. The PT will be responsible for all management and documentation of all aspects of the extraction manufacturing process, including physical and digital batch records, grinding input material, loading and unloading vessels, weighing input material, sampling exhaust material, weighing exhaust material, calculating yield and efficiencies, reporting discrepancies to supervisor, calculate ethanol requirements, ordering enough solvents, maintaining a safe work environment, cleaning collection and extraction vessels,
The PT will work to improve related quality and processing areas and provide problem solving assistance for improvements in process ability, quality, performance, productivity, and cost.
The PT will assume project leadership for simple to moderately scoped projects, and exhibit self-motivation, and project completion-oriented characteristics. The PT will coordinate their design activities with other business functions as required. The PT may be required to manage additional internal and external human resources and provide leadership on specific projects.
Essential Functions:
· Operating and maintaining and repairing extraction and ancillary equipment including chillers, heaters, air compressors and pneumatic systems.
· Basic computer operation and troubleshooting.
· Grinding and loading 25kg batches of raw cannabis/material.
· Setting and maintaining run parameters for 5 to 12-hour run(s).
· Maintain optimal operating conditions during run.
· Diagnose and fix problems related to the extraction process and equipment as they arrive.
· Document all process variables and continually evaluate and improve processes.
· Generate Batch reports, and statistical batch to batch data.
o Record batch reports and data.
· Support manufacturing with production related matters including scheduling and day to day troubleshooting.
· Develop and execute validation protocols.
· Improve process.
· Create and participate in environment of continuous improvement.
· Ensure compliance to standards and conduct audits on the machines and the yields received.
· Identify ways to reduce production costs through recommendation of new process equipment and justification to improve process performance.
o Recommend cost saving initiatives.
· Identify and implement appropriate manufacturing methods.
· Develop and manage work instructions, workmanship standards, process documents, and ensure compliance.
· Continuously improve the existing operation for increased quality, productivity, efficiency, and cost reduction.
· Investigate, report, and recommend solutions to operational problems affecting production
· Provide manufacturing data (i.e. production control charts, reliability, process capability) to improve the process.
· Monitor, measure, and report project progress to target yields.
· Organize meetings with other team members to facilitate growth and development.
o Train staff on new development processes and technology.
· Liaisons with suppliers on manufacturing processes and continually seeks improvements.
