The Manager of Client Engagement is responsible for managing the life cycle of an account from onboarding, through training and ongoing service, and occasionally to offboarding. This means the role is tasked with both education and engagement, and challenged to maintain satisfaction over the length of the relationship. Accountability for the position is established via traditional client engagement metrics. This is currently a remote position, but we are looking for people who live in Colorado and can attend in-person company events and meetings in Denver.
Responsibilities
Build the team and department for scale
- Manage playbooks for key client interactions (e.g., onboarding, training, upgrades, etc.)
- Achieve benchmarks for client success
- Improve department onboarding process, training manual
- Recruit and train a high-performing team
- Upsell additional features and products to existing clients
- Educate clients on compliance best practices
Actively contribute as a member of the leadership team
- Proactively and consistently collect client feedback, and use that feedback to guide the development of our products and services
- Report progress, share successes and challenges
- Participate in networking events to drive new business through client referrals and advocacy
Own key metrics
- Numbers of clients and locations, MRR
- Subscription management: renewals, cancellations, failed charges
- Define and track measures of churn, user engagement and satisfaction
Skills
- Strong research and strategic analysis skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient with Google Workplace and related programs
- Proficient with standard CRM systems (e.g., SalesForce, Hubspot, Streak, etc.)
Required/Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 2-3 years of client engagement experience, preferably SaaS
- 2-3 years experience in the cannabis industry
- 1-2 years management experience
- Experience in regulatory compliance, startups a plus
- Colorado residency required

- Work well both independently and collaboratively. Analysts are expected to have their own computer and internet access.

The Data Coordinator is a member of the Regulatory Affairs team and primarily responsible for maintaining and verifying multiple types of data. Raw data is obtained primarily from government agencies but can also be generated by team members.
Responsibilities
- Research federal, state, county, and city regulations. Identify those relevant to licensed operators in the cannabis industry.
- Working with our offshore data entry team, create regulation sets, perform quality control checks on their work assignments, and load the regulation sets to our compliance platform.
- In this manner, expand and maintain the accuracy of our regulatory library. You will use a variety of tools to ensure quality.
- Research state agencies to identify license types for cannabis businesses. Find sources of data for those license types and use those sources to ensure the accuracy of Simplifya Verified.
- Maintain internal documentation of data collection and updating procedures including manuals, guides, logs and release notes.
- Work with team members to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve errors in our regulatory content, regulation library, Simplifya Verified, and any other Simplifya product.
Skills
- Excellent data entry, analysis, transformation, and manipulation skills. Expertise with Google Sheets (preferred) or Microsoft Excel.
- Extremely high attention to detail and superb organizational skills.
- Ability to document tasks and assignments in an efficient, logical manner and provide the supervisor with concise and informative updates.

The Sales Manager is responsible for managing a team of local sales reps. This is a “player/coach” role accountable for his/her own sales goals as well as those of the team. The primary sales target is licensed cannabis businesses in states where Simplifya has regulatory coverage. This position reports to the Chief Revenue Officer and works out of the Denver office.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with the CRO, VP of Marketing & PR, and VP of Partnerships to execute sales strategies aligned to various segments of the market.
- Recruit and manage a sales team consisting of Territory Leads that work locally in the Denver office but are responsible for territories as defined by the manager.
- Create accountability and trust via weekly meetings and reports, both as a team and with 1:1s.
- Provide regular training for the sales team, helping them develop consistent pitches and empowering them to overcome objections.
- Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and other industry events where you may be in charge of running Simplifya’s booth, presenting to attendees, managing staff at the event, etc.
- Work with other departments to understand the value proposition of our software, content, and services for different segments of users.
- As a member of the sales team, lead by example to generate leads, schedule appointments, prepare and deliver presentations, conduct demos, and close sales.
