Role:
The Senior SEO Specialist, has a passion for the discipline of organic search and driving growth for our businesses. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in organic strategies, processes, analytics, cross-disciplined collaboration and a clear history of exceeding goals and campaign KPIs.
Responsibilities:
- Create, develop, and optimize SEO initiatives for our brands, company websites, and online marketing content.
- Provide strategic and tactical input for successful execution of SEO campaigns.
- You’ll be a data nerd. You will analyze performance data and garner key insights to develop the strategic vision for SEO and cross-channel opportunities, and provide analysis, QA, and insights for performance reports.
- Day-to-day execution of organic SEO campaigns including comprehensive keyword research, content gap recommendations, strategic optimization of existing content, competitor analysis, and site improvements.
- Manage SEO campaigns including writing meta content, creating SEO-friendly content, creating target keyword lists, improving site URL structure,improving link architecture, etc.
- Monitor algorithm updates and establish a process for potential traffic or conversion drops.
- Analyze analytics to identify areas of opportunity and potentially identify conversion rate optimization strategies with the end goal to squeeze as much ROI as humanly possible out of each dollar spent.
- Identify SEO opportunities.
- Conduct SEO Site Audits.
- Conduct strong on-page strategies.
- Conduct off-site optimization strategies and link analysis.
- Tackle problems head on (especially when it comes to problem solving code issues).
- Develop content-led strategies to build site authority.
- Create monthly reports and data analysis.
- Keep up to date with the latest developments in search, analytics, and technologies.
- Manage landing pages and websites to install conversion code and tracking pixels.
- Prepare performance analysis reports and make recommendations for corrective modifications with a view to ongoing optimization.
- Work with a large variety of CMS.
- Research and analyze competitor advertising links.
- Other duties as assigned.
Skills, and Knowledge:
- Very strong understanding of FTP
- Good knowledge of JavaScript, jQuery
- Very strong at CSS & Responsive Design
- Understand how to create theme template files for WordPress, Shopify etc.
- Working knowledge of MOZ, Ahrefs, SEMrush and other SEO tools.
- Understanding of HTML and PHP.
- Strong working knowledge of SEO, including keyword research, on-page optimization, and link building.
- Expert in Google Analytics, SEM Rush, Google Search Engine Algorithm.
- A passion for online marketing, search in particular.
- Excellent writing, editing, proofreading skills and verbal communication skills.
- Be efficient, organized and task oriented.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks & projects at once.
- A positive attitude.
- Ability to work independently
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Analytics, Marketing, Communications, Advertising; OR equivalent professional work experience
- A minimum of 4 years of relevant Organic Search experience.
- Prior experience successfully leading SEO Initiatives.
- Ability to think strategically and drive solid results to grow the business.
- Exhibit a passion for SEO, the future of Search Marketing, and how it fits into the larger digital, media, and brand strategy.

JOB SUMMARY: A Compliance Officer ensures a company functions in a legal and ethical manner while meeting its business goals.
This person is responsible for developing compliance programs, reviewing company standard operating procedures, and advising executive management/owners on possible risks.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: None.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other assignments, projects, and
duties may be required:
- Conducts daily Metrc checks to ensure accuracy of output.
- Conducts weekly adjustment and check-in audits.
- Assists personnel with compliance needed issues (Metrc, transport, testing, etc.) which may require additional research.
- Creates and revises Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) for the company.
- Keeps abreast of local and national legislation by reviewing MED Bulletin Checks and Updates, Colorado
Department of Health and Public Environment (CDHPE) updates, Denver Department of Public Health and
Environment (DDPHE) updates, Denver Fire updates, Pueblo Planning and Development tests.
- Conducts compliance and licensing meetings on a weekly basis.
- Conducts weekly adjustment error checks.
- Monitors all testing throughout the company to verify we are complying.
- Monitors all process validation to be sent and testing received. This includes email communication, logging of testing information and documenting the process validation cheat sheet.
- Monitors all harvest batch testing along with quarterly potency testing
- Conducts bi-monthly audits at Pueblo MIP and send the audit reports that occur during each audit.
- Conducts bi-monthly Denver cultivation audits and sends the audit reports that occur during each audit.
- Compiles and sends out monthly compliance scores email.
- Conducts Marijuana Enforcement /Department of Revenue (MED), Cannabis Distribution Association (CDA), Fire
Department and any other state or city department audits, as necessary.
- Trains new and current employees on Metrc applications.
- Participates in Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) meetings and discussions with research and development personnel.
- Studies Retail Food Establishment Rules, MED and U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations.
- Assists in processing applications for MIP and Grow.
- Participates in Metrc user group meetings.
- Contacts and researches various metrc issues to resolution.
- Communicates any R&D products requiring proper documentation
- Assists with new item name consistencies
- Researches and advises management with compliance issues when venturing into new markets (Oregon, etc.)
EDUCATION and/or WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s Degree in business or related field required, and/or at least two (2) years of compliance work experience.
- MED badge or ability to obtain from Colorado Marijuana Enforcement.
- Must have excellent presentation, written and verbal communication skills.
