The Lead Extraction Technician runs day-to-day extraction in the Shango Production facility. They meet production goals, maintain the Shango image to company standards, emphasize customer satisfaction, and build team loyalty and communication. They must be cognizant of regulations and SOP’s in this highly regulated industry, ensuring product quality, inventory accuracy and safety.
DUTIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Operates extraction equipment, principally closed loop but up to and including hydro-carbon, Co2 and/or Ethanol.
2. Coordinates department staff in matters of maintenance, operation, and cleaning of extraction equipment.
3. Rotation of concentrate during purging.
4. Concentrate texturization. Able to produce all concentrates by category type, and meets market demand for various forms of extracts.
5. Coordinates team members for scheduling, training, and workflow.
6. Maximizes output of extraction and ensures sufficient supply is provided via bio material given.
7. Expands knowledge of various extraction methods and works towards improving extracts, product quality and forms.
8. Prepare tinctures for use in edibles.
9. Maintain equipment records and logs, including but limited to waste, inventory and maintenance.
10. Maintain tracking logs for product conversions and runs reports from the inventory system to reflect work performed.
11. Maintain inventory accurately in inventory systems including, but not limited to, Metrc.
12. Maintenance of extraction equipment including electronic stirrers, heating mantels, vacuum ovens, pumps, heaters, chillers, cold traps, rotary evaporator, and distillation apparatus.
13. Maintains equipment safety, ensures equipment is operating and kept in a safe state. Ensures gases and chemicals are stored securely and out of operating spaces between runs.
14. Follows protocols and maintains the standards as required for the company and Regulators.
15. Maintain closing procedures during end of day, such as break-down, clean up and area maintenance.
16. Performs any additional duties as deemed necessary by management.

The candidate will have an exceptional work ethic and organization skills.
Is able to maintain accurate information of the cultivation process in BioTRAC, inventory system. Practices strong analytical thinking and creative problem solving skills. Carries out Nutrient regiments, and IPM protocols. Maintains the safety and inventory of the cultivation space. Communicates issues that may arise immediately to the Head of Cultivation, and Cultivation Leads, keeping them aware of any and all potential problems.
DUTIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Perform all the tasks in the grow including: cloning, transplanting, feeding plants, defoliation, super cropping, topping, flushing, foliar, and preventative sprays, trimming, packaging, waste disposal, cleaning and inventory management.
- Manage cannabis plants, and tasks via the designated inventory management system.
- Give each individual plant the attention it needs, one at a time, while paying close attention to detail.
- Clone vegetation maintaining at least a 90% success rate.
- Follow grow warehouse protocols and nutrient regiments.
- Maintain knowledge of plant diseases, insects and fungi, as well as plant treatment options, seeking continuing education as directed by the Head of Cultivation.
- Execute preventative maintenance, warding against mold, powdery mildew, spider mites, root aphids, fungus gnats, and other dangers to the plant.
- Employ essential growing methods. Maintains in-depth knowledge of PH, PPM and EC counts.
- Mastery of Soil growing methods including micronutrients, beneficial bacteria and nutrient implementation.
- Working knowledge in container systems with soil and hydro as well as understanding temperature and humidity manipulation.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Strains-- Sativa, Indica and Hybrids. Maintain knowledge of growth characteristics, nutrient needs, and environmental needs of individual strains.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment. Keep every tool or implement used in its appropriate place. Return items to where they belong, upon completion of a task.
- Comply with all company policies including confidentiality and non-disclosure.
- Assist Head of Cultivation and Leads in maintaining OSHA standards, safety, and protocols.

The Assistant Dispensary Manager is the face of Shango Las Vegas, maintaining a positive demeanor, appearance, work ethic and exemplary communication. The Candidate must maintain a high level of expertise in product knowledge and be a source of guidance for budtenders and customers alike. The Candidate will maintain an acute level of knowledge pertaining to Nevada cannabis laws and ensure the standards of practice of Shango are met. The Candidate must poses exemplary cash handling, product knowledge and a passion for cannabis and cannabis products. The Candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the dispensary, digital marketing, menus (digital and web based), inventory and its personnel.
DUTIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Management of dispensary staff, including Scheduling, training, and dispute resolution when applicable.
2. In conjunction with Dispensary Manager, hires, performs reviews, carries out corrective actions, and ensures enforcement of company policy amongst staff.
3. Maintains open lines of communication with Dispensary Management, keeping them informed to pertinent information, and ensuring directives are carried out to its expectations.
4. Makes weighted decisions in matters of customer care, unexpected loss, and
unexpected situations. May override pricing and exchanges within the guidelines of company policy and NRS/NAC 453a/453d and applicable regulatory policies.
5. Responsible for ensuring adequate supply of products are acquired for the dispensary, including internal transfers and from third party vendors. Procures and secures products from licensed facilities, obtaining the required documentation as set forth by company policy and as required by NRS/NAC 453a/453d and applicable regulatory policies.
6. Creates and maintains purchase orders. Arranges payments for vendors in conjunction with the Dispensary Manager.
7. Maintains trustworthiness with the responsibility of being a “Key Holder”, opening and closing the dispensary when needed.
8. Maintains discretion and protects sensitive sales information, and customer data. Alerts Dispensary Team Management if a breach of information is discovered.
9. Understands advanced functions of the inventory and POS system. Educate dispensary staff to the applicable level required of their station in such functions.
10. In conjunction with leads, maintains clear accounting for inventory. Reports deficiencies to the Inventory Manager and Dispensary Manager.
11. Active participation in scheduled inventory checks.
12. Expected to provide analytics reports as requested by Manager.
13. Expand upon reports to ensure business flow continues as expected. Assist with banking and financial Management as requested by Manager.
13. Performs any additional duties as assigned by Dispensary Management.

- Accurately reports patient purchases in the state portal for all medicated sales.
- Provides patients with educational materials to consult with a licensed physician or make independent decisions, when necessary.
- Performs any additional duties as deemed necessary by management.
- Maintain clean, sanitary, and organized work areas.
- Actively involved in Workplace Safety.
- Ensure proper procedures are followed and takes steps to update any outdated procedures.
- May be required to lift boxes, merchandise medicines.

Job Description
Shango Las Vegas is a prominent and well established cannabis company in Las Vegas Nevada, rapidly expanding, and looking for a Cultivation Grower with a superb work ethic, strong communication skills, indoor grow knowledge and or relevant experience..
- May need to lift 50+ plus pounds and stand for long hours. May be required to lift boxes, plants, tools and various heavy implements.
- Maintain clean, sanitary, and organized work areas.

- Ability to deal with problems and resolve them in a professional manner.The candidate will have an exceptional work ethic and organization skills.
Is able to maintain accurate information of the cultivation process in BiotrackTHC, inventory system. Practices strong analytical thinking and creative problem solving skills. Carries out Nutrient regiments, and IPM protocols. Maintains the safety and inventory of the cultivation space. Communicates issues that may arise immediately to the Head of Cultivation, and Cultivation Leads, keeping them aware of any and all potential problems.
- Perform all the tasks in the grow including: cloning, transplanting, feeding plants, defoliation, super cropping, topping, flushing, foliar, and preventative sprays, trimming, packaging, waste disposal, cleaning and inventory management.
- Manage cannabis plants, and tasks via the designated inventory management system.
- Give each individual plant the attention it needs, one at a time, while paying close attention to detail.
- Clone vegetation maintaining at least a 90% success rate.
- Follow grow warehouse protocols and nutrient regiments.
- Maintain knowledge of plant diseases, insects and fungi, as well as plant treatment options, seeking continuing education as directed by the Head of Cultivation.
- Execute preventative maintenance, warding against mold, powdery mildew, spider mites, root aphids, fungus gnats, and other dangers to the plant.
- Employ essential growing methods. Maintains in-depth knowledge of PH, PPM and EC counts.
- Mastery of Soil growing methods including micronutrients, beneficial bacteria and nutrient implementation.
- Working knowledge in container systems with soil and hydro as well as understanding temperature and humidity manipulation.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Strains-- Sativa, Indica and Hybrids. Maintain knowledge of growth characteristics, nutrient needs, and environmental needs of individual strains.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment. Keep every tool or implement used in its appropriate place. Return items to where they belong, upon completion of a task.
- Comply with all company policies including confidentiality and non-disclosure.
- Assist Head of Cultivation and Leads in maintaining OSHA standards, safety, and protocols.
- Don proper PPE in the cultivation space, at all times.
- Perform facility maintenance and troubleshooting as necessary.
- Able to wear a respirator, as needed, responsible for obtaining “fit tests†for respirators.
- Any additional duties as determined by Management.
- Must be able to work flexible work schedule; must be available for overtime during harvest period.
