Sales Rep for Cannabis Infused Manufacturing Facility "Shango Stockton"
Shango Stocton is located in Stockton, MO. Travel to this facility would be on an as needed basis, but on average 2-3 times a week. The Sales Representative will be responsible for prospecting, visiting, and closing new account, as well as organically growing existing accounts. You must be a highly motivated individual with strong communication and organization skills and an aptitude for understanding Shango’s product and value proposition. We are looking for people who are customer-first that can balance customer needs and business needs, while also servicing existing accounts from order entry through the delivery of their product. Duties and Essential Functions:
- Outside sales of cannabis, concentrates and infused products produced at the Shango facility to licensed cannabis dispensary facilities for Missouri.
- Aggressively apply his or her talents, education and experience to ensure that every opportunity is taken to improve the sales performance and positive community image of the company.
- Ensuring client satisfaction constantly with great communication, timely responses, and great customer service.
- Identifying unique ways to target new accounts through cold-calling, references, in person meetings, etc.
- Become the “go-to” resource, proactively sharing information to customer/prospects on consumer, marketplace and industry trends in the category.
- Become a market expert able to provide valuable insights to prospects that will help them make the right buying decisions.
- Perform budtender educations and educate store staff on product.
- Work closely and collaboratively with the Leadership Team and partners to develop and deliver an appropriate, relevant, and effective narrative for prospect and client communications.
- Utilize social media outlets (Instagram) to help with Shango brand marketing efforts.
- Weekly reporting and tracking for accountability, eventually incorporating the use of a CRM system (we are currently using the Monday platform).
- Develop and implement a sales plan for key accounts based on established revenue goals and company objectives.
- Responsible for collection of payments
- Drive sales growth through communication and in-person interactions with current and prospective customers.
- Showcase creative problem-solving skills and a commitment to great activity, preparation, presentation and follow up.
- Responsible for executing and coordinating product and sales deliveries.
- Maintain expert industry knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks.
- Monitor competition by gathering and reporting current marketplace intel
(pricing, products, new services, market strategies and merchandising techniques) to Leadership.

- Processes supplied Production biomass, trim and flower according to the release schedule and as provided by Production Supervisor or Manager(s). Ensures only tracked and provided materials are processed. Works closely with relevant departments and Production department accordingly.
- Maintain inventory accurately, in inventory systems including but not limited to Metrc. Performs data entry into digital inventory system (i.e. Leaflogix and METRC).
- Ensures accurate and consistent communication with managers and leads
Performs any additional duties as deemed necessary by management
- Maintain a safe and clean lab environment.
- Actively involved in Workplace Safety.
- Ability to deal with problems and resolve them in a professional manner.
- Able to lift at least 50 lb and work in a physically demanding environment
- Maintains mechanical acumen- understanding of common mechanic tools, proper use and applications of (including but not limited to) wrenches, screwdrivers, ratchets, nuts, connectors and the like.

Maintenance of extraction equipment including electronic stirrers, heating mantels, vacuum ovens, pumps, heaters, chillers, cold traps, rotary evaporator, and distillation apparatus.
Follow protocols and maintain the standards as required for the company and

INVENTORY MANAGER
The Inventory Manager will be responsible for entering, managing and maintaining the cultivation inventory - including all packaging, conversion, internal transfers, sales, laboratory testing, and sample reserves - into Metrc and LeafLogix Point of Sale System, as well as ensure full accountability for all product. Must possess strong analytical thinking, communication, attention to detail and creative problem-solving skills, experience working on contracts, knowledge on growing techniques and plant care.
DUTIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Inventory control accountability for weights, and accurate tracking for trimming, packaging, waste disposal, labeling and inventory management.
Oversees Packaging and Labeling and quality control for Cultivation.
Effectively communicates with growers, production and management to ensure business has consistent supply of inventory available to meet the needs.
Oversees grow house plant movement in Metrc and LeafLogix. Responsible for overseeing the removal of all dead plants from the system and destruction of all products (i.e. display buds, returns, etc.).
Maintains contact with lab and schedules testing. Responsible for testing pickups and uploading of results into the Metrc and LeafLogix systems.
Assist each department in the following: wholesale product transfers, laboratory testing batches, sample reserves, individual retail sizes, apply bar codes for tracking and ensuring stock retail ready inventory.
Maintains tracking of all internal products moving in and out of the Metrc and LeafLogix systems.
Schedule and coordinate the physical inventory. Additionally, complete unannounced audits of inventory to ensure accuracy and report any balance to the Executive Management immediately. May be required to work non-standard hours or weekends on an occasional basis as needed and maintain a sense of heightened security awareness.
Ability to be trained on software used to track and trace product from seed to point of sale.
Accurately report and track inventory balance, price lists, shortages, damages, and disposals in POS system.
Actively participate in management meetings and report inventory levels, test results and work cooperatively with the management team.
Participate with communication that the Executive Management may have with the Division as needed on inventory related issues and statements of deficiencies.
Report any software deficiencies or ideas for improvements to the Executive Management.

RETAIL SALES ASSOCIATE aka "BUDTENDER"
OverviewRetail Sales Associates (RSAs) and Lead Retail Sale Associates (LRSAs) are responsible for sales transactions with registered medicinal marijuana patients, their registered caregivers, and retail consumers, ensuring scrupulous adherence to relevant statutes and regulations, and facility policies and procedures, governing the sale of marijuana products.
RSAs and LRSAs report to the Dispensary Manager (the “DM”).
Responsibilities
- Conducting sales transactions with patients, caregivers and retail customers, accepting tendered cash, issuing receipts, and ensuring provision of mandatory patient information and product warnings, complying fully at all times with relevant California statutes and regulations and facility policies and procedures to ensure diversion prevention, supply of marijuana only to legally authorized buyers and adherence to quantity limits.
- Counseling patients, primary caregivers and recreational consumers regarding the use of cannabis and cannabis-infused products, including dosages, forms, effects, and side effects.
- Assisting the DM in monitoring and verifying inventory.
- For LRSAs, managing the facility in the DM’s absence.
- Accurately inputting all necessary data regarding transactions and inventory in the POS system.
- Rigorously upholding patient and caregiver confidentiality in all respects at all times.
- Always presenting a neat and clean appearance and pleasant, polite demeanor to provisioning clients.
- Assisting the DM in maintaining a clean, welcoming, well-maintained provision center environment.
- Assisting new or less experienced personnel in the performance of their duties.
- Aggressively applying his or her talents, education and experience to ensure that every opportunity is taken to improve the customer service provided by the provisioning center.
