The Team Lead responsibilities include assisting in overseeing daily dispensary operations. The team lead will also coordinate to ensure proper pricing, advertising, and showcase highlights of our products. The team lead is responsible for assisting in training and educating retail team members regarding proper sales techniques, de-escalation, ensuring customer satisfaction, as well as assisting in implementing proper sales growth strategies.
Overall
- Provide excellent customer service and compassionate care to every patient.
- Assist patients with knowledge of strains, cannabinoids, etc.
- Educate patients on different strains and their effects of various patients’ ailments.
- Educate patients on proper glass and/or accessories which may best facilitate their medication.
- Operate registers efficiently and effectively.
- Assist General Manager with daily tasks associated with running a licensed dispensary.
- Maintains compliance with cannabis laws and regulations.
- Keep up to date on all Arizona Department of Health Services rules and regulations for the Medical Marijuana program and Adult Use program.
- Maintain clean, presentable, and organized shop, budroom, displays, back office, rotating rest room maintenance and workstation.
- Work well with the team / be a team player.
- Cash Handling
- Understand and be able perform POS sales process—including understand proper steps for discounts to ensure uniform ticket prices from all team members
- Listen carefully, identify critical buying situation terminology, and make suggestions to patients to help guarantee customer satisfaction.
- Manages employees and maintains high standards of engagement and world class customer service standards.
- Promotes sales and identify up-selling opportunities for dispensary products—including strains, glassware, accessories, etc.
- Always encourage patients to encourage positive reviews on all Herbal Wellness channels.
- Models and manages all company policies and procedures including efficient cash handling, safe operations, opening and closing procedures and reconciliations.
- Actively use and check email for company updates and communications
- Engage in our social media platform to ensure customer interaction.
- Understand mission and vision statements and always come to work mindful of these core concepts.
- Supervises the staff of a dispensary during an assigned shift.
- Responsible for the hiring, training, and overall performance management of staff to achieve peak performance and development.
- Ensures customer needs are met, complaints are resolved, and service is quick and efficient.
- Maintains store appearance and product presentation to company standards.
- Maintains ordering, incentive, and communication platforms such as Weedmaps, Leafly, Dutchie, etc.
- Provides support to sales associates during peak periods or when scheduling conflicts arise.
- Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
- Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
- Perform duties to open and/or close the location.
- May lead and direct the work of others
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Must be 21 years of age.
- Ability to acquire a Facility Agent Card through Arizona Department of Health Services.
- Management experience or equivalent.
- At least 1 years’ experience in a retail or customer service setting.
- Must be detail-oriented and pay close attention to accuracy.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must be computer literate, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (word processing, email, google sheets or excel).
- Must be available to accommodate scheduling expectations, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
