Serenity Lane drug and alcohol treatment center is currently seeking to add full-time R.N. Registered Nurses to our highly-skilled crew at our Inpatient Care Facility and specialty hospital located in Coburg, Oregon.
As a crucial part of an exceptional treatment team that includes physicians, psychiatrists, therapists, CNA’s and addiction counselors, RNs establish and document nursing diagnoses to serve as a basis for each patient’s plan of care, and aid in creating an environment conducive to each patient’s health and safety, through collecting and charting data by observing, examining, and interviewing patients.
Main Duties:
- Establish and document nursing diagnosis, which serve as a basis for the plan of care.
- Develop and modify the plan of care based on assessment and nursing diagnosis.
- Implement the plan of care
- Document nursing interventions and responses to care.
- Communicate nursing interventions and responses to care of other members of the health team.
- Provide client advocacy.
- Be a monitor for nurses
Required Qualifications:
- Current Oregon RN License
- CPR – Basic Life Support Certification
Why be an RN at Serenity Lane:
This Hospital unit differs from a traditional acute care facility as our patients do not require IV infusions, dressings, or other services typically received in a general hospital or ER environment. A lower acuity gives our staff more time for thoroughness to provide quality care and therefore, at day’s end, they know they have aided our patients to the best of their abilities.
Here are a few thoughts our patients have shared about their nursing care:
- They were ALWAYS available and understanding, open, and honest. Gave me hope which, when I arrived, I had none.
- Honestly, I have had treatment before and been to the hospital, and this place surpasses all other care I have had.
- Thank you all so much for your kindness, professionalism, and understanding through this hard time in my life. I will always appreciate and remember you.
- I greatly appreciate all that has been done to help me. I am blessed to be able to get help.
Here are a few comments our nursing staff shared in a recent confidential survey:
- This job is way less stressful than my jobs at the hospital or the nursing home.
- We have time to chart, time to talk to patients, love my peeps, and Docs are all friendly.
- Since we don’t do IVs, NGs, feeding tubs, or dressings our patient acuity is far less.
- Our CEO comes in on the weekend to be sure everything is going well for us!
Working at Serenity Lane offers the opportunity to collaborate with exceptional professionals on making a difference and improving the quality of life of our patients and their families, and in some cases, saving lives.
In addition to a comprehensive compensation package, our organization provides opportunities for professional growth and advancement in your career.

Serenity Lane drug and alcohol treatment center has job openings for a night shift R.N. Registered Nurses at our licensed Inpatient Care Facility and specialty hospital located in Coburg, Oregon.
Are you seeking meaningful work and a balanced life? Is it rewarding to you to give patients hope and to save lives? At Serenity Lane, we believe that recovery from addiction is possible. By providing excellent care, being sensitive to our patients’ needs, affirming the dignity and worth of our patients and their families, and fostering a spirit of partnership with communities and other providers, we create a cohesive approach to care which encourages our patients and their families to nurture their recovery.
We are currently seeking to add Registered Nurses to our highly-skilled crew at our Inpatient Care Facility and Specialty Hospital. This Hospital unit differs from a traditional acute care facility in that patients receiving addiction treatment here do not require IV infusions, dressings, or other services typically received in a general hospital or ER environment. A lower acuity gives our staff more time for thoroughness to provide quality care so that, at day’s end, they know they have aided our patients to the best of their abilities.
As a crucial part of an exceptional treatment team of RNs, LPNs, CNAs, physicians, psychiatrists, therapists, and addiction counselors, you will establish and document nursing diagnoses to serve as a basis for each patient’s plan of care. Through collecting and charting data by observing, examining, and interviewing patients, you will aid in creating an environment conducive to each patient’s health and safety.
