Basic Function:
Incumbent will ensure that operations and business transactions follow all relevant legal and internal rules of the Seneca Nation. Will be responsible for monitoring, auditing and inspecting licensed hemp producers (indoors/outdoors) and licensed/registered Cannabis Establishments (indoors only). Will be responsible for monitoring and reporting on federal and other jurisdictions cannabis rules and regulations and other pertinent developments. Incumbent will need to be familiar with risk management and the industry standards in the field of cannabis with the goal to ensure we operate in a legal and ethical manner, while meeting business objectives.
Qualifications:
BA/BS degree in Business Administration, Social Science, Humanities, Public Administration, etc. from an accredited institution of higher education required, advanced degree preferred. Must have experience working within a regulated industry and risk management. Developed knowledge of hemp production and the adult-use cannabis regulatory environment surrounding cultivation, processing, distribution, and retail. Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills essential in order to develop strong working relationships with clients, both internal and external. Strong technical writing skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe. Knowledge of and familiarity with cannabis regulation is preferred. Self-driven with ability to work independently.

Accounting Analyst/Budget/Administrative Assistant
Seneca Nation Of Indians
Basic Function:
Incumbent is responsible for the analysis accounting and other fiscal documents from licenses and prospective licenses. Will also be responsible for monitoring two budgets allocated by the Seneca Nation. Functions of this role will be to support ongoing business activities by providing costing support, analyzing financial data and subsequently providing guidance in order to reduce costs and maximize profitability. Provides administrative support to the Director/Executive Director and staff.
Qualifications:
Bachelors or Associates Degree Accounting or Business Administration with 2 years financial accounting experience (GAAP), or combination of education and experience. Must possess thorough working knowledge of spreadsheet application, accounting software, budget preparation and analysis. Must have excellent communication skills, both written and oral. Read and understand legislation and regulations. Strong organizational and planning skills. Mastery of MS Office 365 and Adobe Acrobat Pro DC applications. Able to type 50+ words a minute. Able to physically lift at least 30 lbs. Strong Customer Service skills. Experience in the cannabis industry and familiarity with practices and professional standards. Must have a valid NYS drivers license. Must be able to travel locally. Must be 21 years of age or older to work within the Cannabis Industry.
