We are seeking to add to our collaborative team environment within our Santa Cruz facility, focusing on hiring a Full-time Client Coordinator / Receptionist (considering local Santa Cruz region applicants only).*This position will be one of our company ambassadors, so there will be a heavy amount of customer service interactions. Ideal candidates will be flexible and have a team-first mentality, while being able to display strong background in handling a high call volume, providing administrative support.
Previous experience in the cannabis industry is not necessary, however, must be comfortable working in a cannabis lab environment and being around / handling cannabis and hemp infused products.
- A minimum of 1-year prior Customer Service experience is required
- 1 year of previous experience in a full-time Receptionist position is required
PAY RATE: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour DOE, as determined by the hiring manager
SCHEDULE: Full-time Tuesday - Saturday from 9:00AM to 5:30PM

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Must have ability to handle high call volume by efficiently answering / transferring calls to the appropriate department or personnel in order to address customer concerns
- Effectively able to communicate and absorb scientific and company product knowledge and maintain ability to share that knowledge with customers
- Will interact with customers face to face during sample collection and submission
- Performs work functions and keeps records as per approved SOPs and/or laboratory policies
- Support the laboratory through functions such as cleaning, organizing, filing of laboratory records, retrieving test items from retention
- Perform tasks as requested by Lab management to ensure the proper function of the lab
- Identifies and records actual or potential nonconformities on Corrective or Preventive Action Requests
- Will be expected to encourage the sale of company services at every opportunity and apply exemplary customer relationship skills that promote a superior company image
- Use the company’s CRM(Sugar) to task appropriate personnel
- Receive deliveries and prepare packages for shipping as needed
- Will be posting on WeedMaps.com
- Merchandise Inventory as needed
- Order office supplies, ensure all supply levels are maintained appropriately
- Possess the ability to work independently, proactively and adapt appropriately to changing priorities
- Maintain the ability to stay dynamic, multitask, and communicate to all levels, especially during busy times
- General office duties as required
Requirements:
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Minimum one (1) year of previous experience as a full-time Receptionist is required
- One to three (1-3) years of previous customer service experience is required
- Must display the ability to quickly learn new processes and procedures
- Must be detail oriented and experienced in being thorough and complete
- Must display an ability to work alone and independently as part of a team
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must be fluent English Speaker (Bi-lingual candidates encouraged to apply) with a strong ability to communicate

We are seeking to add to our collaborative team and are focusing on hiring a part-time Sampler within the Southern California region (Los Angeles and surrounding cities).
The Sampler position is responsible for obtaining a representative sample of a batch at the client’s location, completing all relevant documentation, providing excellent customer service, while ensuring all samples are safely and securely provided to our Courier for transport to the Santa Cruz Lab for processing.

- Previous _ customer service experience_ is required.
- Previous work experience in the legal cannabis industry is preferred.
- Ideal candidate will have 1 year of prior laboratory experience from either college or full-time practical work experience / exposure.
- Ability to safely and securely park and keep a Company owned vehicle is required.
- Candidate that is hired will spend time in Santa Cruz for training, possibly up to 2 weeks.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Follow all internal laboratory and State regulations while taking samples and driving to and from the laboratory/clients' sampling site.
- Interact with customers during sample collection and submission.
- Coordinate with Manager of Field Operations, as well as, Customer Service Account Managers to maximize sample collection.
- Strive to maximize driving route efficiency.
- Maintain records of samples and transportation data per relevant procedures.
- Maintain sampling supply/equipment inventory.
- Complete vehicle operational logs and minor maintenance as needed.
- Follow good documentation practices, data integrity principles, and safety behaviors.
- Promote a professional company image through exemplary customer relationship skills.
- Refer customer inquiries, routing or schedule change requests, and/or complaints to the appropriate Account Manager.
- Ensure proper Sample Submission form protocols are followed.
- Suggest and implement continuous process improvement initiatives.
- Support laboratory-based functions including sample intake/preparation, etc.
- Perform other activities as assigned by management.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be at least 25 years of age.
- Must have a minimum of 1-year previous Customer Service experience.
- Skills: Read, write, and speak English; use LIMS, Microsoft Word, Excel, and email applications; must be able to program and follow driving navigation software.
- Abilities: Follow written and verbal instructions and be an effective communicator; work effectively in a collaborative environment.
- Other characteristics: Strong attention to detail; must possess excellent planning skills.
- Must have a valid driver's license; must have and maintain a clean driving record.
