The Head Grower is the primary leader within our cultivation team and is responsible for developing and organizing people and processes to achieve safety, quality, delivery, and cost results while ensuring full compliance to state and industry regulations.
Desired Qualifications:
- 5 years of management experience in agricultural industry
- Bachelor's degree in horticulture or related field
- Demonstrated ability leading a team of individuals in an indoor LED cannabis cultivation facility with >4,000 plants
- Demonstrated ability to develop effective IPM program while ensuring safe handling and application of chemicals such as fertilizers, herbicides, pesticides and fungicides
- Thorough knowledge of water lines and awareness of conditions such as ventilation, light conditions, temperature, and humidity
- Efficient cultivation/production work leadership with application of Lean Tools and Problem-Solving skills to root-cause correct daily cultivation/production issues
Responsibilities
- Provides daily leadership to a team of ~10 to cultivate high quality cannabis while working together
- Promotes a positive culture and work environment that positively impacts every member of the team
- Plans, organizes, leads, and controls all cultivation activity to achieve compliance, safety, quality, delivery, and cost expectations
- Implements best practices for cultivation and continuous improvement to sustain the most valuable operation for customers and stakeholders
- Upholds the highest standards for cleanliness and quality of the workspace
- Identifies challenges and leads team through problem solving efforts
- Ensure cultivation practices adhere to all company and state guidelines.
- Any other task as defined by leadership

Core Duties
- With the President, craft and execute an overall retail strategy including pricing,
marketing, product mix, promotions, vendor strategy, merchandising, and
customer experience. - Develop, execute, and manage to open to buy budgets. Report on budgets to
senior leadership understanding drivers of variance. - Create processes to collect and analyze data to drive actionable strategies. Data
to include financial metrics, consumer behavior, promotional effectiveness,
marketing KPI's, and retail sales data, among others. - Create a centralized product ordering system that leverages our scale to reduce
cost of goods sold, forecasts demand to inform product ordering and mix,
manages inventory to minimize days on hand, and that aligns with pricing
strategy. Manage vendors. - Be an expert on the consumer, the Michigan cannabis market, including
competitive landscape, advertising, product, and promotional trends. - Develop and execute merchandising plans and ensure execution of plans across
all retail outlets. Consider the use of planogram type planning. - Identify opportunities to cut costs, drive sales or increase gross margin.
- Create a consistent in-store experience for customers across all retail operations;
work with all retail stakeholders to ensure store experience meets expectations
consistently. Be able to measure and track against desired store experience
outcomes. - Play a key role in crafting the marketing strategy and, more importantly, driving execution against that strategy.
- Coach staff on retail best practices and use of data for informed decision-making.
- Ensure dispensaries operate in full compliance with all local, state, and federal laws. Be a champion for compliance with all state marijuana regulations.
- Lead the opening activities for new retail sites.
- Work closely with the President, Marketing Coordinator, PR agency, and retail marketing resources on all marketing-related initiatives.
- Work closely with President and operations to maximize the performance of owned brands.
- Monthly reporting to leadership and cross functional stakeholders using data to illuminate retail performance and drivers of performance.
- Manage store employee performance and development.
- Ability to travel to be an onsite presence at stores, particularly in the beginning, to coach and lead staff, as well as ensure accountability to strategy.
- All other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business or related field.
- 5+ years of retail and operational experience with major retailer, specifically in
field operations, workforce management and communications. - Retail operations experience in the Cannabis industry a plus.
- Must be a collaborative, cross-functional team player who can both nurture and
develop retail management - Strong organizational, project management and time management skills to
successfully implement strategic initiatives from initial idea through execution. - Strong strategic and analytical skills to grow a business. Must be proficient in
Microsoft Excel or equivalent platforms for advanced data analysis. - Strong communication, critical-thinking, and presentation skills; including the
ability to provide written and verbal direction effectively. - Passionate leader who enjoys mentoring direct reports and providing hands on
direction - Flexible, resilient and comfortable working in "grey areas" in a company and
industry that are constantly changing - Immersion in and understanding of cannabis culture, the cannabis plant and

The Cannabis Technician is an integral part of our team that assists with all aspects of preparing finished packaged products that will be sold to retail stores. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Create packages both physically and in the MI State Metrc compliance system.
- Keep very accurate and detailed inventory in an orderly fashion. Record plant growth patterns, plant temperatures, stresses, and condensation points.
- Perform cycle counts on inventory.
- Create Metric tags, manifests, invoices and shipping labels.
- Interface with cannabis transport companies and arrange the pickup and delivery of sales orders.
- Provide great customer service to both Sales Reps and customers.
- Clean all work areas involved, e.g., sweeping, dusting, mopping, and sanitizing work surfaces and common spaces.
- Observe and immediately advise supervisors about issues with plants, equipment, or environments.
- Must have good communication skills, interact professionally, and work effectively with others.
- Must adhere to company rules, regulations, attendance/tardiness policies, and procedures of the company and the cultivation department.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- At least 21 years of age and authorized to work in the US with proper employment documentation.
- Must be able to stand and work on his/her feet for 6-8 hours per day.
- Must be able to push, pull, move, and/or lift a minimum of 50 lbs. to a minimum height of 5 feet and be able to carry that weight a minimum of 50 feet without mechanical assistance.

The WellFlower Group, a vertically integrated cannabis company, is seeking a Director of Retail to lead the company's growing retail operations, crafting strategy to create a remarkable customer experience, and drive profitability at the corporate and store level.
This role reports to the President and will be tasked with overall retail strategy including, but not limited to, store objectives, budgets, inventory management, pricing strategy, product mix, promotional strategies & their effectiveness, assisting in development of and executing marketing plans, merchandising plans, consistent customer experience across locations, and accountability for store revenue and profitability targets. We are seeking an individual that is a servant leader, passionate about the cannabis industry, and comfortable in a startup environment in a highly dynamic, nascent industry.
Core Duties
- With the President, craft and execute an overall retail strategy including pricing, marketing, product mix, promotions, vendor strategy, merchandising, and customer experience.
- Develop, execute, and manage to open to buy budgets. Report on budgets to senior leadership understanding drivers of variance.
- Create processes to collect and analyze data to drive actionable strategies. Data to include financial metrics, consumer behavior, promotional effectiveness, marketing KPI's, and retail sales data, among others.
- Create a centralized product ordering system that leverages our scale to reduce cost of goods sold, forecasts demand to inform product ordering and mix, manages inventory to minimize days on hand, and that aligns with pricing strategy. Manage vendors.
- Be an expert on the consumer, the Michigan cannabis market, including competitive landscape, advertising, product, and promotional trends.
- Develop and execute merchandising plans and ensure execution of plans across all retail outlets. Consider the use of planogram type planning.
- Identify opportunities to cut costs, drive sales or increase gross margin.
- Create a consistent in-store experience for customers across all retail operations; work with all retail stakeholders to ensure store experience meets expectations consistently. Be able to measure and track against desired store experience outcomes.
- Play a key role in crafting the marketing strategy and, more importantly, driving execution against that strategy.
- Coach staff on retail best practices and use of data for informed decision-making.
- Ensure dispensaries operate in full compliance with all local, state, and federal laws. Be a champion for compliance with all state marijuana regulations.
- Lead the opening activities for new retail sites.
- Work closely with the President, Marketing Coordinator, PR agency, and retail marketing resources on all marketing-related initiatives.
- Work closely with President and operations to maximize the performance of owned brands.
- Monthly reporting to leadership and cross functional stakeholders using data to illuminate retail performance and drivers of performance.
- Manage store employee performance and development.
- Ability to travel to be an onsite presence at stores, particularly in the beginning, to coach and lead staff, as well as ensure accountability to strategy.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business or related field.
- 5+ years of retail and operational experience with major retailer, specifically in field operations, workforce management and communications.

The WellFlower Group, a vertically integrated cannabis company, is seeking a Cannabis Technician to assist our inventory manager and post-harvest items. This individual will "float" to different departments when additional assistance is needed - helping with harvesting, packaging, etc.
This career path is best described as fast-paced, highly repetitive, with a great deal of manual labor while working in various temperatures from 60 to 80 degrees. The ideal candidate will have a positive "can-do" attitude and will respect co-workers, the plants, and the facility. Managing high stress, high urgency situations is a must. Attendance and punctuality are critical to the success of this role.
The Cannabis Technician is an integral part of our team that assists with all aspects of preparing finished packaged products that will be sold to retail stores. The team maintains the final process steps of a cultivation facility in which products are packaged, inventoried, and sold based on various work instructions, processes, and techniques performed as a part of daily routine operations.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Create packages both physically and in the MI State Metrc compliance system.
- Keep very accurate and detailed inventory in an orderly fashion. Record plant growth patterns, plant temperatures, stresses, and condensation points.
- Perform cycle counts on inventory.
- Create Metric tags, manifests, invoices and shipping labels.
- Interface with cannabis transport companies and arrange the pickup and delivery of sales orders.
- Provide great customer service to both Sales Reps and customers.

Clean all work areas involved, e.g., sweeping, dusting, mopping, and sanitizing work surfaces and common spaces.
- Observe and immediately advise supervisors about issues with plants, equipment, or environments.

- Cooperate and assist other cultivation leads and associates in the areas of climate, irrigation, growing techniques, production trials, labor savings techniques, and in any areas where assistance is required and as requested by other growers, maintenance, and management.
- Cooperate with, collaborate, and assist with cross-functional cultivation and production departments.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- At least 21 years of age and authorized to work in the US with proper employment documentation.
- Must be able to stand and work on his/her feet for 6-8 hours per day.
- Must be able to push, pull, move, and/or lift a minimum of 50 lbs. to a minimum height of 5 feet and be able to carry that weight a minimum of 50 feet without mechanical assistance.

- Experience and knowledge in horticulture and/or agriculture preferred.
- Previous manufacturing/ laborer experience preferred.

- Knowledge of plant diseases, insects, and fungi, as well as plant treatment options.
ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENTS AND EXPOSURE:
Exposure to fertilizer, dust, odors, extreme high heat, extreme low temperature, high and low humidity, high noise levels, vibrations, water, dry salts, allergens, pollen, dust, plant pathogens, other volatile organic compounds, and other environmental variables.

We are a Michigan-based cannabis facility located in the Harrison Township area seeking a Bloom Cultivator for our company.

Responsibilities include:
- Maintaining the health and vitality of cannabis plants in the bloom phase

- Daily inspecting of the plants canopy for signs of health and damage

This position reports to the Lead Cultivator and works closely with executive management.
