Join RRD, a global leader in Packaging Solutions, to grow existing relationships and develop new ones in industries such as food and beverage, health and beauty, technology, life sciences, cannabis and more. This position is primarily responsible for generating new folding carton sales with new and existing clients. Success in this role is heavily measured by achieving goals set with sales and operations leadership, with an emphasis on profitable revenue growth and number of new folding carton clients created. Sales Executives will support the organization’s new business development initiatives by proactively engaging in outside selling activities and also within the Regional Offices and RRD Divisions through training, sales support and solving customer problems.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify new folding carton clients through cross sell and new business initiatives
- Grow folding carton business by adding new business development opportunities and by identifying current clients who have incremental folding carton needs
- Manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting to closure.
- Be a liaison between sales, manufacturing, product tech./development and suppliers
- Assess opportunities and client relationships and report back to the Sr Management and Platform Leaders
- Stay up-to-date and knowledgeable on new products, services and techniques in the folding carton market to create/add value to client relationships
- Provide senior leadership accurate reporting and forecasts to support business planning activities.
- Make proactive recommendations to further the business initiatives
- Participate in tradeshows and events to drive exposure and opportunities for RRD
- Work in a cohesive team selling environment with other sales reps

Required Skills
- Bachelors degree in Business or related field or an equivalent number of years experience in a Sales Executive or Sales Director role within the Folding Carton Packaging business.
- 3+ years consultative, B2B sales experience in folding carton and prime label industries
- Understanding of specification of materials for company on behalf of customers
- Strong written and verbal communications with all levels within an organization (from Junior to C-level)
- Ability to apply market knowledge relative to competition, market share, opportunities, etc. is essential
- Demonstrated experience in analyzing trends, pricing and competitive programs
- Bachelors degree or commensurate professional sales experience required
- Microsoft Office and Google applications proficiency required
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- Travel: 50%
- Location: Needs to be accessible to the individuals and operations they support , preferably within 5 hours by car or reasonable airfare
