Job Description: At Hasheesh, our customers are our top priority. As a budtender at Hasheesh, you are the first and last experience our customers will have, and we expect phenomenal customer service in every interaction. Budtenders serve as important guides to using marijuana products, and tailor their customer and patient service to all levels of experience. A budtender is responsible for educating consumers about the benefits, effects, and overall experience of cannabis products. * Interviews will be held on site*

Responsibilities

• A budtender is responsible for educating consumers about the benefits, effects, and overall experience of cannabis products

• Advising customers on suitable medicinal cannabis products based on their personal needs, preferences, budgets, & reactions to different types of products

• Processing customers' payments using the dispensary's Point of Sale (POS) system

• Ensuring that the dispensary is well-organized at all times

• Educating customers on the safe use of their selected cannabis products

• Correctly weighing, packaging, & labeling cannabis products

• Checking customers' identification documents to verify that they are of legal age

• Maintaining a clean, orderly front-end & packaging room

Preferred Experience & Skills:

• High school diploma or GED

• 1 year experience in Retail/Cannabis

• Effective organizational, communication & customer service skills

• Ability to adapt to changes in CRA regulations & bulletins

• Must be able to pass a background check

• Weekend availability

* Pay from 13.5-$17 based on experience.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $13.50 - $17.00 per hour
