Job Description: Our brand has a focus on organic growth through word of mouth, social media, influencer, and events marketing. We are looking to onboard an intern focused on providing marketing/operations expertise to assist these various organic growth initiatives. In the past, our brand has worked with major entertainment companies, health & wellness companies, event companies, and industry leaders in the cannabis and hemp space. As a marketing intern for Potion Cannabis, you will have the opportunity to work closely with the CEO and marketing team. Your duties may include, but are not limited to:
Manage aspects of the company’s social media accounts (IG, Twitter, Facebook, Youtube, TikTok, etc.)Influencer outreach and relationship managementCreate PR strategies and contacting journalists for features in articlesCollaboratively strategize marketing campaigns across various mediums ie. Influencer Marketing, Email campaigns, social media posts, collaborations, etc.Design graphics for new products, articles, blog posts, and social mediaManage newsletters, email marketing, and copywritingNetwork with potential leads for vendors, influencers, markets, events, and industry experts
Experience/Requirements: Prior marketing/communications experience preferred, but not requiredMarketing, Marketing Management, Marketing Analytics, Communications, Entrepreneurship or general business majors preferred, but open to other backgrounds on a case by case basisPassion for the cannabis/hemp space alongside the arts/music/creative scene; prior knowledge of the CBD industry is preferred, but not required as there will be a training period where we will teach you all the ins & outs of the company/industryThe ideal candidate are Sophomore, Junior, and Senior undergraduates

- Manage aspects of the company’s social media accounts (IG, Twitter, Facebook, Youtube, TikTok, etc.) - Contact micro influencers and influencers for collaborations and posts- Track and organize influencers on spreadsheets- Manage affiliate marketing campaigns and recruitment- Analyze influencer engagement rate, impressions, and ROI on each influencer- Network with potential leads for vendors, influencers, markets, events, and industry experts
Experience/Requirements: - 2-3 years of social media management experience- Prior sales/marketing experience preferred, but not required- Marketing, Entrepreneurship or general business majors preferred, but open to other backgrounds on a case by case basis- Passion for the cannabis/hemp space alongside the arts/music/creative scene; prior knowledge of the CBD industry is preferred, but not required as there will be a training period where we will teach you all the ins & outs of the company/industry
