Key Responsibilities
- Translate overall Polaris Off-Road growth strategies and consumer facing ideas into owned channel strategies and plans
- Lead strategy and development of content planning across the channels of email (broadcast/single send emails as well as automated programs), direct mail and working with the digital team members to ensure a connected consumer experience
- Coordinate weekly/monthly/quarterly content planning with our recreation and utility teams (Ranger, Sportsman, RZR, General) to ensure consistency of strategy and messaging in all campaigns
- Act as agency liaison between multiple agencies and internal Polaris ORV marketing team
- Own, manage and maintain all automated programs, reporting consistently on performance and ensuring optimal performance—seeking to improve when gaps or opportunities are identified
- Make decisions based on consumer data and mindset, always focusing on how to attract, lead, and nurture off-road consumers through the funnel on their path to purchase
- Work with email development team to oversee and ensure executional excellence and quality assurance
- Project manage a steady stream of multimillion dollar direct mail campaigns to drive incrementality in sales of vehicles for targeted prospects and owners.
- Effectively communicate and manage day-to-day change changes in project scope, direction or edits with a keen eye for detail
- Creatively problem solve and generate new ideas and solutions in a rapidly changing and subject to change environment and industry
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Marketing, Advertising or Public Relations
- 3-5 years of marketing communications experience, preferably in email, automation and loyalty programs
- Solid understanding of consumer-focused personalization and segmentation
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects, priorities, schedules, and deliverables
- Proven track record of collaboration skills with agency and cross-functional internal partners
- Creative thinker who can generate innovative ideas and solutions and partner effectively with marketing and other creative teams
- Adaptable and flexible – able to manage change management in stride
- Natural and effortless relationship builder, thriving off of collaboration with team members
- Sells the vision for cross-channel assessment and is the trusted source for “final say” on campaign recommendations
- Passion for digital marketing, detail oriented and organized
- Excellent presentation skills
- High say/do ratio
- Tenacious attention to detail, and ability to steward multiple projects from inception to completion
Preferred Qualifications
- Working knowledge of CRM structures and specifically Salesforce Marketing Cloud Suite
- Experience with large scale direct mail campaigns
- Ability to partner and collaborate across a matrixed internal teams and agency partners
- Familiarity with production software (i.e. photoshop, Illustrator, etc.).
- Thorough understanding of power sports business/industry
