The Sanitation & Biosecurity Agent is responsible for all aspects of cleaning the facility. This position will be responsible for supporting and assisting Managers and Shift Leads to maintain a clean and organized work environment. Priorities include biosecurity, waste disposal, and workplace aesthetics.
Work Conditions for Sanitation & Biosecurity Agent: The facility contains confined spaces that may only be accessible by ascending/descending stairs while traveling throughout the building. Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time, bend, kneel, squat, and twist. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
Essential Responsibilities
- Follow all procedures according to local and state regulations and company policies
- Ensure that all safety protocols, procedures, and facility rules are followed.
- Responsible for all basic cleaning in and around facility
- Cleans Cultivation and Lab rooms, including floors and walls.
- Removal of gross contamination, organic material, and debris from the premises or respective structures, via mechanical means like sweeping (dry cleaning) and/or the use of water and soap or detergent (wet cleaning).
- Apply necessary chemicals and solvents to surfaces in order to easily and effectively remove dirt and debris.
- Disinfect surfaces to destroy or eliminate a specific species of infectious microorganism through physical (e.g., light) or chemical (e.g., disinfectant) means using a combination of methods.
- Assists with removal of cannabis waste/ compost while adhering to industry standards and waste disposal procedures set forth by regulatory agencies.
- Removes trash and recycling from building at least daily and as needed.
- Cleans and maintains bathrooms, including restocking dispensers, cleaning mirrors, cleaning and sanitizing toilets, sinks, and other fixtures.
- Experience working with hazardous materials and knowledge of proper waste disposal methods.
- Help with building maintenance including replacement of light bulbs.
- Carry out cleaning duties with the aid of necessary equipment, including sweeping and mopping floors in all departments
- Comply with all safety policies and procedures that are related to carrying out cleaning tasks. Use proper lifting techniques when handling heavy objects.
- Follow instructions from leadership team and be flexible with all delegated tasks; Adapt to changes in business needs and product flow
- Work on assigned tasks independently as needed
- Promote a respectful work environment in daily actions with fellow employees and job tasks
- Contribute to the team by maintaining the highest level of engagement

Priorities include feeding, defoliating, hanging, drying, trimming, curing, environmental control, fertigation, pest control, waste disposal, and inventory management for plants in preparation for product sale or transfer.

The Lab Agent is responsible for navigating day to day laboratory operations and duties. The main function is to perform extractions of cannabis products. This includes working with the Precision PX1 extraction system, to assist with the extraction process, clean up of equipment, and maintenance of extraction instruments. This position will work closely with the Director of Cultivation and Lead Lab Agent to ensure equipment is maintained regularly and products and workflow meet the necessary specifications. The goal is to optimize lab procedures and succeed in producing consistent, safe and quality products. Communication skills, organization, attention to safety, detail and time management are critical to the success of our lab.
Primary Responsibilities
- Help develop and execute the process of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Assist in the operation and maintenance of extraction equipment.
- Assist with the front-end processing of raw materials, including weighing, grinding, cleaning and general lab work.
- Optimize and scale existing processes to increase production; offer innovative solutions that support development of new processes and/or products
- Prepare work space, equipment and materials daily.
- Wash and sterilize laboratory glassware and equipment.
- Maintain lab process equipment and ensure such machinery operates in a clean organized space.
- Schedule and perform regular maintenance, cleaning, and repairs of all equipment.

The Trimming & Packaging Associate is responsible for supporting and assisting the Quality Control
Manager and other Supervisor(s) in all aspects of cannabis product management within the facility.
The Associate will prepare cannabis products in preparation for distribution to retail sites, the primary activities will be the trimming and packing of bud produced in the facility. Additional tasks include counting, sorting, labeling, sealing, taping, boxing, and shrink wrapping. This position will be responsible for participating in fulfillment operations and activities within the facility following all established protocols including using various types of equipment, including assisting with inventory control of products in preparation for product sale or transfer.
Responsibilities
- Ensure that all safety protocols and procedures are followed
- Follow all procedures according to local and MA state regulations and company policies
- Maintaining operational excellence at all workstations/areas; maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Prepare, sort, organize, package, and label cannabis products in preparation for distribution to retail sites
- Trim plants
- Monitor, measure/ weigh, and record precise product weight and total units produced
- Package products according to the packaging standards
- Measure and document any potential product waste accurately
- Adhere to SOPs for waste disposal
- Maintain quality assurance of all products in accordance with local and state regulations
- Utilize various heavy machinery to safely and efficiently produce and heat seal cannabis products
- Partner with other departments to maintain efficiency and productivity throughout the production cycle
- Promote a respectful work environment in daily actions with fellow employees and job; follow instructions from leadership team showing flexibility with delegated tasks
- Assist in other duties as assigned to ensure the team maintains success
