WHAT: We are seeking a DISPATCH ASSOCIATE - The Dispatch Associate will work in various roles within the company. Including being a part of our customer experience team making sure that we safely, accurately, compliantly and promptly deliver great products to our great customers. Additionally, a Dispatch associate is responsible for routing, overseeing, and dealing with logistical issues for all drivers and deliveries. If you are excited about representing the brand with professionalism, passion, and providing extensive cannabis product knowledge to every customer, then we have a great opportunity for you!
Responsibilities:
- Answer and route all incoming calls to the People’s stores
- Train new and existing staff on standard operating procedures
- Course correct and take disciplinary action for staff when required
- Help develop and draft best practices for the delivery department
- Provide excellent customer service as well as maintain a professional, positive and friendly attitude when dealing with guests on the phone
- Follow all store procedures, protocols and rules
- Cashier transactions with attention to detail and accuracy
- Always maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Manage, route, track and assign deliveries to a fleet of drivers
- Accurately track, report, and assign cash bags and tips for drivers
- Serve as a point of escalation for all customer service complaints and driver or delivery issues
- End of day reporting and Data input
- End of day cash drops and drawer reconciliation
- Draft schedules for dispatch and driver teams
- Be available to work night shifts and weekends to close help run closing procedure for the store and delivery department
Order Fulfillment:
- Quickly and efficiently place, process and fill online, kiosk and delivery orders
- Ensure correct product is pulled and bagged for each order
- Pay attention to details and accurately prepare each order
- Assist customers with possible substitutions when items are sold out or are unable to be fulfilled

The PEOPLE’S Retail Guide is responsible for providing exceptional and professional service to all customers, vendors and guests that come into the store. The Guide will work in various roles within the store, as outlined below. The Retail Guide should be regarded as the most welcoming, professional, passionate and knowledgeable people within the cannabis retail space.
Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent customer service as well as maintain a professional, positive and friendly attitude in all positions on the sales floor as a Retail Associate
- Follow all store procedures, protocols and rules
- Cashier transactions with attention to detail and accuracy

Check In/Reception:
- Greet/acknowledge customers, vendors and guests as they enter and leave the store

- Build expertise in CO2 and ethanol extraction methods, as well as, the purification, separation and isolation of various compounds of cannabis
- Assist in driving continuous improvement
- Maintain quality control measures and batch records to ensure a high-quality product
- Report process data and mass balances for monitoring efficiency goals
- Ensure compliance with State regulations and testing requirements
- Develop SOPs to ensure safety, quality, and consistent processes
- Prepare inventory reports to ensure products are available, on point and in demand
- Maintain supplies, materials, equipment, including material safety data sheets for all chemicals
- Manage preventative maintenance and calibration of equipment to ensure non-interrupted production
- Coordinate vendor relations for equipment and consumables
- Ensure accurate weighing and inventory, product tracking and labeling
- Manage scheduling of sample submission to QA/QC lab
- Ensures all consumption, output, and sample tracking data is input to ERP system; verifies input of other scientists and technicians for accuracy
- Mentor and conduct periodic performance reviews for staff to help them grow
- Support Strategic Service Engineering, Quality and R&D projects, new product launches, process improvement initiatives and equipment upgrades
- Follows ongoing research of cannabis, cannabinoids, terpenes, distillation and refining techniques, and new/novel cannabis products to understand the industry.

Requirements
- College degree in Chemistry, Engineering, Food Science or equivalent, or equivalent industry experience required
- At least 2 years working with Cannabis extraction in a production environment required
- Minimum 2 years working in a regulated industry. Food or pharmaceutical industry experience preferred
- GMP and Lean Manufacturing experience preferred
- Minimum 3 years management experience
- Experience training and mentoring laboratory technicians and scientists with techniques for analysis and good laboratory practices
- Experience with various methods of extraction, preferably Ethanol and CO2
- Experience with molecular, wiped film and steam distillation
- General knowledge of reactions, separations and mixing
- Experience with design of experiments, scientific documentation, and procedure creation
- Proficiency in MS Office or Google Suite software
- Ability to stand and/or walk for prolonged periods; requires consistent eye/hand coordination in a precise lab setting; ability to lift 50 lbs. unassisted.

The Extraction Supervisor will oversee all production, quality assurance, refinement, operations, training, safety awareness and personnel.
The Supervisor will manage a team of 4-6 direct reports to produce high-quality concentrates, distillates and isolates.The Extraction Supervisor will be the main team leader on the ground, it will include significant administrative and regulatory compliance duties.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and develop the ethanol extraction team
- Operate extraction and distillation along with thin film distillate & isolate systems
- Hire and train production personnel in order to meet production goals
- Maintain a safety minded environment with consistent quality results
- Create and improve SOP’s for all disciplines
- Compliance of all regulatory oversight, including safety, environmental and document control
- Ability to resolve conflict and create a culture of accountability and high-performance
- Ensuring equipment reliability throughout production process
- Identify operational efficiencies and apply cost reduction remedies
- Maintain records for production and inventory within METRC system
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Engineering or a related field (preferred)
- Skilled and experienced in botanical extractions (Co2 and/or sub 40 ethanol)
- Previous experience in botanical processing required
- Experience developing and implementing processes that meet GMP, SQF standards
- Technically proficient with the processes and instrumentation
- Strong math and computer skills, including ability to interpret data
- Time management and the ability to multitask
- Must pass a comprehensive background check
- Ability to lift 50lbs without assistance
- Valid identification to work in the US
- Possess strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication
- Must be proactive and solution oriented with a positive attitude
- Strong multi-tasker and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in technology software, desktop electronics, MS Office
- Knowledgeable and passionate about the Cannabis Industry (preferred but not mandatory)
