Job Summary:

Job Summary:
The Director of Operations & Processing will be responsible for managing all aspects of PDG’s post-harvest processing operations with an emphasis on quality, efficiency and safety. The right candidate will have experience in lean manufacturing with large scale operations and be adept at utilizing data analytics to dial in processes, decrease costs and drive continuous improvement.
Job Duties:
· Supervise and manage post-processing and quality control departments; team leads will be direct reports.
· Monitor the day-to-day operations and direct all aspects of processing inclusive of bucking, drying, curing, trimming, quality control and packaging.
· Track and analyze data to ensure highest quality finished product output.
· Partner with internal departments to ensure facilities are maintained and meet state regulatory, OSHA and PDG quality standards.
· Track and analyze processing data using Excel and ERP to drive continuous improvement across all steps of the operation.
· Create SOP’s to increase operational consistency and labor efficiency.
· Provide training and coaching, and lead by example to retain and motivate staff.
· Work alongside cultivation leads to ensure all company-wide KPIs are being exceeded.
· Partner with the cultivation team to identify and implement new process flows and to achieve designated objectives and deliver higher business results.
Report to executive leadership with updates and to discuss new projects.
Requirements:
· Minimum 7-10 years of operations experience in CPG manufacturing or agriculture
· Minimum 4-5 years of experience in Operations Management
· Minimum 2-3 years of experience using lean manufacturing techniques within a large-scale operation
· Extremely detail oriented
· Bachelor’s degree required
· Positive and collaborative approach to management a must
· Six Sigma certification a plus
· Cannabis experience a plus
