- Record plant growth patterns, plant temperatures, stresses and condensation points.
- Ensure proper crop irrigation by consistently monitoring and calibrating all grow scales, EC, and pH sensors.
- Monitor and ensure that disinfection procedures are implemented and followed.
- Must be able to clearly convey any information about plants, machines, activities within the cultivation function.

The Cannabis Trimmer will assist with the trimming of cannabis plants post-harvest. The job can be described as fast-paced highly repetitive, with a great deal of manual labor while working in various temperatures from 60 to 80 degrees. The ideal candidate will have a positive “can-do” attitude and will respect team members, the plants, and the facility. The ability to work in an assembly line fashion with high level of attention to detail is a must. Most importantly, attendance and punctuality are critical to the success of this role. The ability to work in an assembly line fashion is a must.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Must be at least 21 and obtain State issued Facility Agent Card.
- Reliable transportation.
- Self-motivated with great attention to detail.
- Prior knowledge of industry and trimming experience preferred.
- Authorized to work in the US with proper employment documentation.
- Valid Passport, AZ driver's license or AZ ID (required to apply for a Facility Agent Card through AZDHS)
- Experience and knowledge in horticulture and/or agriculture preferred.
- Previous manufacturing/ laborer experience preferred.
- Must be able to push, pull, move, and/or lift a minimum of 50 lbs. to a minimum height of 5 feet and be able to carry that weight a minimum of 50 feet without mechanical assistance.
- Able to sit for extended periods of time (8 hrs a day) Able to stand/walk for extended periods of time.
- Maintain a positive attitude that promotes teamwork.
- Trim flower efficiently while adhering to strict quality standards.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepares trimming station at the beginning of each shift for the processing of cannabis.
- Processes dried cannabis flower by carefully trimming away sugar leaves and fan leaves.
- Returns all trimmed cannabis, trim, waste and sift upon completion of each allocation to the Post Production Lead to record metrics.
- Ensures all functions are performed to the highest standard of quality, compliance, and successfully conforms to all state regulations, organizational standards and procedures, and security protocols.
- Works successfully in a team setting, takes instructions well, and helps on tasks as delegated by Lead or Manager.
- Manages time efficiently in order to meet productivity goals, while consistently producing quality work at a steady pace.
- Maintains the highest level of cleanliness and sanitation inside the processing area and participates in the clean-up of equipment and the workplace at the end of every shift.

Leadership and organization for all activities including training employees and establishing schedules, workflow and SOPs. Responsibilities
- The Cannabis Post-Harvest Manager will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, planning, organizing, directing, controlling, process optimization and coordinating the activities of post-harvest team.
- Plan, organize direct, control and coordinate all activities for workers in cannabis post-harvest departments including harvest, drying, curing, trimming, packaging, and product transfer
- Continual improvement and process optimization of all post-harvest departments
- Creation and maintenance of production/efficiency reports
- Planning and organizing cannabis drying/curing and packaging schedules, ensuring proper quality control and compliance every step of the way
- Supervise and evaluate performance of post-harvest personnel (quality inspectors, quotas, workers etc.)
- Hire staff for post production team
- Monitor labor and production to ensure the required efficiencies are in place
- Maintain labor percentages within agreed upon budgets
- Interface with Inventory, Logistics, Dry/Cure and Packaging to optimize production flow through post-harvest operations
- Organize workflow to meet specifications and deadlines required by upper management and needs of dispensaries
- Monitor harvest/post-harvest procedures to resolve issues
- Assess projects and determine necessary resources (workforce, raw materials, etc.)
- Ensure production requirements are analyzed and work is assigned based upon the capacity to achieve production schedule and departmental objectives
- Provide other departments with production completion forecasts monthly
- Develop daily, weekly and monthly plans
- Oversee and direct department cleanliness, sanitation, and order
