Summary of Position:
The mission of the Packaging Manager is to direct and oversee completion of all projects in the
Packaging Department. This includes scheduling packaging crews, organizing workflow, managing packaging inventory, and planning for the Department’s long-term success.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Receive work orders from Distribution and direct the packaging crew to execute them o Design, update, and enforce packaging workflow procedures to ensure efficiency, quality control, and high production
- Maintain self-motivated organization of workroom based on the specific projects’ needs
- Create and update SOPs for current and added projects
- Maintain supplies necessary for the Packaging Department (in advance) o Follow protocol for reimbursement (when necessary) o Communicate supply needs with as much notice as possible
- Ensure quality control checks, training sessions, and general feedback to employees

Manicure cannabis efficiently and meticulously to ensure a high-quality end product. Job designation and day-to-day activities are subject to change with the company’s projects.
WAGE:
- Piece rate: All manicure/trim work is compensated by piece rate. Piece rate compensation varies depending on strain, but all piece rate work is paid by the pound (rate scale and production requirements can be provided upon request).

Wage: Commission Structure:

- *Actively participate in the Northern Emeralds sales strategy for an entire city or region, focusing on a particular list of clients with whom the Salesperson has a special relationship.

other sales logistics.
- *Communicate regularly and professionally with clients, nurturing personal relationships based on mutual respect and love of cannabis.
- *Receive and record feedback/criticism from clients, revising sales strategies according to their needs, act as the eyes and ears of the market for the company.
- Manage accounts by providing communication when necessary, coordinating events and budtender training, promos, etc.
- *Help expand the Northern Emeralds client base wherever possible, recruiting new clients as much as possible.
- Sell available inventory as quickly as possible, focusing on aging inventory and developing strategies for harder to sell products.
- Arrange for payment on all orders, encouraging clients to pay CoD whenever possible.
- Reporting of all sales and orders through the use of Salesforce, sending weekly/monthly reports back to the VP of Sales.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to sit or stand while performing repetitive motions for long periods of time.
- Must be able to safely carry up to 30 pounds at a time, including up and down stairs.
- Must be able to drive and visit clients as necessary.
- Able to assist others in carrying (individually 50 lbs) up to 80 lbs, when needed.
- Able to kneel or crouch while reaching for long periods of time.
- Able to work at a fast pace for prolonged periods, high energy.
Qualities and Qualifications Desired:
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Minimum of 3 years sales experience.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
- Pass a background check
- Must have and know how to navigate a smartphone/tablet and basic computer knowledge.
- Need a current driver’s license and a clean driving record

Summary of Position:
The mission of the Packaging Manager is to direct and oversee completion of all projects in the Packaging Department resulting in:
- Quality: Ensure packaging process maintains quality of flower material.
- Production: Meet packaging production needs as determined by distribution dept.
- Efficiency: Package items in a time/cost-efficient manner.
- Development: Create and refine systems/SOPs/equipment that supports the above goals.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Coordination w/ Distribution:
- Receive and organize work orders, and direct the Packaging Lead to execute them.
- Promptly notify Distribution when completed work orders are ready for transfer.
- Keep work order calendar updated
- Coordination w/ Processing:
- Acquire the flower and packaging materials necessary for the work orders.
- Communicate need for employee/work areas.
- Systems and development:
- Create and update SOPs for current and added projects
- Design, update, and enforce packaging workflow procedures to ensure efficiency, quality control, and high production
- Inventory maintenance and data collection:
- Delegate as necessary tasks relevant to maintaining/updating inventory systems and collecting data on various procedures.
- Maintain self-motivated organization of workroom based on the specific projects’ needs

- Export monthly activity reports from METRC and submit to the City of Arcata.
