The Client Account Manager (CAM) will be responsible for revenue growth in current clients in an assigned geographic territory, named accounts or practice area while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction. This includes the sale of products, services and maintenance to existing accounts as well as securing existing Microsoft customers looking to change partners. The CAM will have understanding and ability to position all NexTec products and services. The CAM will be the primary contact with established customers and act as liaison to other NexTec team members and partner resources, coordinating efforts for sales and services engagements. New sales are developed through direct sales and marketing activities using a structured team sales methodology. This is a work from home position and can be situated anywhere in the US with a preference for Central or Eastern time zones.
Responsibilities:
- Leverage team members and alliances to cross-sell NexTec products and services
- Up-sell existing products; new users, modules, licensing changes, etc.
- Consistently meet or exceed quotas and goals
- Develop, document and execute strategies to grow accounts and territories
- Maintain and develop relationships with key contacts and “C” level executives within customer accounts. Leverage and introduce NexTec executives and resources as appropriate.
- Elevate NexTec to a more strategic position within accounts. Work with customer executives to understand initiatives, goals and business drivers. Develop account plan, sales and communication strategy to anticipate and address current and long-term business needs.
- Develop, maintain publisher relationships
- Work in close liaison with publisher and NexTec offices, both regional sales and national practice
- Manage publisher quotas and drive sales to meet goal
- Have knowledge or secure resources to provide product recommendations based on requirements; ISVs, Microsoft/Sage products, NexTec IP and offerings
- Possess solid selling skills. Manage effective sales cycles; discovery to final close.
- Employ strategic and tactical sales methods driving high close rate
- Coordinate resources and activities
- Understand pricing and create accurate quotes and proposals
- Ability to negotiate and close deals in timely and efficient manner
- Provide accurate forecasting utilizing CRM
- Maintain current detailed client information in CRM to support Marketing and customer reporting
- Have understanding of primary ISV products, sales and engagement process and partner relationships
- Be knowledgeable and leverage Microsoft promotions, campaigns
- Leverage and maximize marketing campaigns to increase pipeline and close opportunities
- Ensure that client issues are dealt with in an efficient manner
- Have general understanding of accounting and NexTec processes and resources to support customer’s billing inquiries as appropriate.
- Have knowledge of NexTec services and resources needed to coordinate and escalate customer support requests; Customer Care, Practice Directors, Project Managers, etc.
Education, Certifications and Experience:
- Four year degree, Advanced degree(s) a plus or equivalent work experience
- Prior experience selling midmarket ERP software required. Sage X3 preferred. Other acceptable ERPs include Dynamics/D365, Acumatica, Epicor
- Must have prior experience selling software solutions, consistently meeting or exceeding quotas and goals
- Professional, assertive, and skilled in managing relationships in their territory
- Proven presentation, proposal development, and writing skills
- Prior experience using a CRM system to manage a pipeline preferred, MS CRM experience a plus

Our Sage X3 team is growing and we’re looking for consultants with expertise in the Sage X3 Finance module. We currently have two different roles available:
- Sage X3 Consultant or Sr. Consultant – As a member of our Application team, these consultants will work on new client implementations from requirements gathering, to configuration, training, and testing through to go-live within the financial areas of Sage X3 projects. The Sr. Consultant may also lead workstreams and mentor and coach less experienced Sage X3 team members. These roles will require 40-80% travel in the US and Canada.
- Sage X3 Senior Financial Support Analyst – As a member of our Support team, these consultants will provide support to our Sage X3 customers after their initial go-live. Focusing on the financial module, they will spend approximately 75% of their time resolving business, process, and functional issues with business stakeholders. The remainder of the time will be assisting clients with smaller add-on implementations, training, or configuration changes as the clients' processes evolve. This role will require minimal travel.
Given our broad geographical footprint, either role can be located anywhere in the US or Canada.
Our ideal candidate for either role will meet the following requirements:
- 8+ years ERP support or implementation experience, a minimum of which three (3) are in Sage X3; This can be slightly less for the Consultant-level implementation role
- Sage X3 Financial Certification
- A strong understanding of the Sage X3 Financial module, including:
- Analyzing and configuring auto journals
- Default dimension configuration
- RNI reconciliation
- Fixed assets

NexTec Group
Our Sage X3 team is growing and looking to add consultants with expertise in the Financial or Operations/Manufacturing modules. Our consultants participate in the full-life cycle of projects from requirements gathering and design activities, configuring the system, provide training, lead testing sessions, and support go live activities. The Senior Consultant will also lead their functional areas of Sage X3 projects as well as mentor and coach less experienced Sage X3 team members. Given our broad geographical footprint, they can be located anywhere in the US or Canada.
Responsibilities:
- Particpate or lead requirements gathering and design activities, interact with consulting team and client core team to collect information, lead and/or oversee and provide guidance on configuration, training, testing, and go live activities of medium size or complexity
- Resolves functional questions
- Proactively communicate status, issues, and concerns to project manager and/or architect/lead
- Provide coaching and quality assurance to ensure team members are following NexTec Implementation Methodology and best practices
- Negotiate resolutions to business/process/functional issues with business stakeholders
- Establish and maintain “trusted advisor” relationship with customers
- Follow NexTec implementation methodologies
- Achieve utilization targets while achieving high customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
- Bachelors’ Degree in Business, MIS, Computer Science, Finance, Supply Chain, Cannabis or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 3+ years ERP implementation experience, a minimum of which three are in Sage X3
- Sage X3 Manufacturing or Financial Certification required. Additional certifications in Financial , Distribution a plus
- Prior professional services consulting experience preferred
- Prior experience facilitating group design discussions
- Expertise in business process and application functions
- Intermediate understanding of best practices of industry NexTec serves (Agriculture, Cannabis/Hemp, Chemicals, Food and Beverage, Manufacturing, Pharmaceuticals)
- Results-oriented individual who can prioritize and execute activities in a high-pressure environment
- Professional demeanor, able to work well with other team members as well as customers
- Clean, valid Driver’s License with no DUI’s and the ability to pass a background check including no drug charges
- Ability to travel in the US and Canada from 40% to 80%, and up to 100% can be expected in smaller defined timeframes

- 3+ years ERP implementation experience, a minimum of which one is in Sage X3
- Sage X3 Financial Certification required. Additional certification in Manufacturing, Distribution a plus
- Prior professional services consulting experience preferred
- Understanding of in business process and application functions
- Intermediate understanding of best practices of industry NexTec serves (Agriculture, Cannabis/Hemp, Chemicals, Food and Beverage, Manufacturing, Pharmaceuticals)
- Results-oriented individual who can prioritize and execute activities in a high-pressure environment
- Professional demeanor, able to work well with other team members as well as customers
- Clean, valid Driver’s License with no DUI’s and the ability to pass a background check including no drug charges
- Ability to travel in the US and Canada from 40% to 80%, and 100% can be expected in smaller defined timeframes

A Sage X3 Operations Consultant will actively participate in the operations (manufacturing and distribution) modules implementation of Sage X3 projects while continuing to expand Sage X3 and soft consulting skills to drive successful implementations and delight customers. Given our broad geographical footprint, they can be located anywhere in the US or Canada.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in requirements gathering and design activities for the operations modules, interact with consulting team and client core team to collect information, configure the system, provide training, lead testing sessions, and support go live activities for a work stream under the guidance of the functional project leads
- May lead low to moderate complex project areas with oversight from more experienced team member
- Proactively communicate status, issues, and concerns to project manager and/or architect/lead
- Understand and following NexTec Implementation Methodology and best practices
- Negotiate resolutions to business/process/functional issues with business stakeholders
- Facilitate small (1-3) group discussions with team members and customers
- Establish and maintain “trusted advisor” relationship with customers
- Follow NexTec implementation methodologies
- Achieve utilization targets while achieving high customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
- Bachelors’ Degree in Business, MIS, Computer Science, Finance, Supply Chain, Cannabis or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 3+ years ERP implementation experience, a minimum of which one is in Sage X3
- Sage X3 Manufacturing or Distribution Certification highly preferred.
