We are new up and coming legal dispensary in the Los Angeles area and we are seeking a motivated leader to be our amazing Retail General Sales Manager. The right candidate will be able to inspire others by leading an efficient, effective, professional, smooth-running operation, build teams, in addition to being aware of the overhead, purchasing, marketing, and can handle various special projects. The General Manager (GM) will provide leadership and direction to the entire store team, demonstrating a customer focused, ethical and professional presence. Must have strong business acumen driving sales and KPI’s by closely monitoring stores performance and ensuring goals are met. The GM must hold everyone accountable at all times.
Minimum Requirements
10 years experience in a General Manager role
5 years MS Office experience (Outlook, Word, Excel-Advanced, PowerPoint)
5 years POS Experience:
5 years Cash Handling experience
Bilingual English and Spanish (plus)
All or a combination of the following
Bachelor Degree (required) and
Cannabis knowledge of price setting, product valuing, and negotiating
5 years cannabis product experience (required)
TREEZ, Weedmaps, etc. experience (required)

Administrative and Operations duties
· Forecasting – Sales and product flow
· Inventory Management and Control
· Staff scheduling – Staffing, retail, production, and operations
· Report generation – Word, Excel, POS system reports, others as needed
· POS Administration – Auditing, operations, procedures
· Drives sales and customer service through product knowledge, KPI’s and customer retention.
· Monitors and manages delivery business.
· Performance management and coaching of all team members in partnership with Human Resources.
· Comply with all BCC and company inventory control procedures, product waste procedures and vendor delivery procedures.
· Lead Marketing initiatives: sales promotions, marketing initiatives and new product launches to customers.
· Customer relations: address returns, issues, and complaints in a professional manner keeping customer retention in mind.
· Actively pursue brand and product knowledge through company and vendor provided tools and resources.
· Ensuring staff accountability in the sales process
o Understanding sales techniques
o Listening, observation, and supervision
· Monitoring of product turnover
o Sales margins
o Trending
· Staying abreast of changes in city, state, and federal law to ensure compliance (BCC regulations)
· Enforce and follow company procedures: communication channels, guidelines, and policies
· Maintaining patient information and proper records (if at a medical dispensary)
