Staff Accountant can expect to work with large amounts of numerical data; handle multiple tasks with deadlines, and provide transparent and complete reports to management. You should have a firm grasp of accounting and financial practices and regulations and possess strong computer and verbal and written communication skills.

- Various day-to-day and week-to-week postings and reconciliations;
- Closing various monthly journal accounts.
- Compiling, analyzing, and reporting financial data;
- Creating periodic reports, such as balance sheets, profit & loss statements, etc.;
- Presenting data to managers, investors, and other entities;
- Maintaining accurate financial records;
- Performing audits and resolving discrepancies;
- Assisting in management of various balance sheets and profit/loss statements;
- Audit financial transactions and documents;
- Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary;
- Comply with financial policies and regulations, and
- Assisting with Payroll processing as needed.
- Understanding and management of 280-E tax implications

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and qualified territory sales manager to lead the sales in the Eastern Oregon territory. This individual must posses strong sales, negotiation, and relationship building skills to accelerate our scale, grow our revenue and increase our distribution points. The ideal candidate is responsible for growing total territory sales as well as meet or exceed KPIs and follow a structure of routes/zones as well as maintain accountability via CRM.
Key Duties Responsibilities (include but not limited to):
- Develop the strategy and tactics to grow revenue and distribution points of all brands in the portfolio of the distribution company wihtin your territory
- Aggressively prospect and close new accounts within the state of Oregon
- Maintain existing relationships with acitve accounts you will inherit once contracted
- Ensure you are servicing existing accounts by checking inventory levels, adding new products to their menu, evangelizing budtenders and perfecting brand displays
- Develop sales strategies in tandem with Marketing
- Meet or excees quarterly KPI's
- Develop strong rapport with key retailer managers, purchasing staff and budtenders to secure product orders and ensure high visibility placement within the store.
- Ensure sales and brand ambassador staff is performing regular, on-going product training to budtenders to educate on the Mellow Vibes product lines.
- Direct Brand Ambassador with schedule and execute retail promotional events that build customers’ brand awareness.
- Meet and exceed monthly revenue targets.
- Maintain expert-level knowledge of products our business and the cannabis industry.
- Ride alongs with management/exective team members
- Weekly team and 1:1 management meetings
Skill Requirements
- Analytics, forecasting, strategy building, planning and structure
- Leaflink CRM
- Microsoft Suite: Outlook, OneDrive, Teams, Sheets, Docs and more
- Strong leadership skills that can achieve buy-in from your sales team
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Thorough understanding of sales techniques and pipeline management
- Effective negotiation skills with the ability to persuade others to your point of view
- Ability to work independently with little direction
- Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience needs
- Thinking and acting like an owner
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor’s degree in a business or communications discipline highly preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of proven, highly successful sales leadership experience in the cannabis industry
- Demonstrated understanding of CRM systems; experience with Leaflink preferred
- Knowledge of cannabis products, trends, and experience in the cannabis industry highly desired
- Valid drivers license and reliable vehicle
- Willingness to travel and drive regularly
Compensation
- Commission - 10-99 Independent Contractor
