- May perform all tasks in the indoor perpetual harvest grow:
- Mother plant maintenance, cloning, transplanting, nutrients and pH management, water management, positive airflow, temperature and humidity control, pest and disease control, plant transfer from veg to flowering.
- Knowledge of pest and disease control and management.
- Maintain and follow the cultivation department policies and procedures.
- Wash and sanitize all equipment. Scout all equipment, ensuring all tools are free of pests, viruses or disease
- Demonstrate accurately and thoroughly in a timely manner to meet production standards. Work in a timely manner and strive to increase productivity.
- Maintain organization and cleanliness of the cultivation facility while performing job duties.
- Uphold quality of finished product through employing attention to detail while manicuring flower.
- Exhibit competency in basic organizational, tracking and communication skills.
- Must be able to adapt to various strains, styles and types of cannabis they are cultivating; adjusting techniques to maintain a steady pace and quality.

Supervisory Responsibility: Cultivation Staff
Position Summary
The Cultivation Manager is primarily responsible for the oversight of the cultivation facility including propagation, vegetation and/or flower. The Cultivation Manager will provide oversight of all Cultivation Associates and ensure that the facility is safe and compliant with OSHA, MED and state regulations at all times. Additionally, the Cultivation Manager is responsible for ensuring all company policies are upheld and all company-provided standard operating procedures are adhered to. This ensures the quality of product meets or exceeds Modern Medicine LLC standards
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Cultivation Oversight
- Assure all cultivation procedures are executed properly and efficiently
- Responsible for production and scheduling of all manufacturing duties, including planning from all stages and aspects of growth
- Create and maintain Company cultivation SOP procedures
- Assess requested needs for the facility such as equipment and supplies
- Maintain up-to-date information of all steps and procedures of the cultivation process, and address any issues which may arise
- Responsible for production and scheduling of all manufacturing duties, including planning from all stages and aspects of growth
- Schedule all cultivation duties for all stages and aspects of growth Cultivation Support and Management
- Direct and coordinate all cultivation staff activities, including planting, irrigation, chemical application, harvesting, and grading
- Maintains and monitors all plants and plant health throughout every stage in the facility Manage plant scheduling and organization to precisely project all plant needs on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis to produce the best results for maximum plant yield.
- Responsible for employee relations, production and management disciplines and acknowledges employees appropriately
- Maintains proper plant counts, tracking information for inventory and over facility compliance
- Ensure all new employees and managers are trained in proper and preferred plant care techniques

Education
- Bachelor’s degree in horticulture, botany, business management or a related field, or equivalent
- Knowledge/experience in sustaining and managing cannabis cultivation operations strictly required
- Must maintain current knowledge and adhere to all policy and regulations of the Colorado Marijuana Enforcement Division (MED); Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE), and Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and all applicable Federal laws and guidelines.
Preferred Skills & Experience
- Knowledge of Colorado marijuana laws, MED regulations, and CDPHE requirements; previous marijuana industry experience preferred with priority given to candidates with experience in CO licensed facilities
- 5-10 years’ cultivation process and personnel management experience
- Excellent mathematical, language, reasoning and communication skills.
- Must have previous experience with state mandated inventory tracking systems.
- Must have previous experience with automated control system, Argus
- Must maintain current knowledge of all local and state policies and regulations relating to cannabis
Work Requirements

Position Summary
Joint Roller is responsible for inventory accountability of joints in compliance with pre-established inventory requests. Responsible for high-volume quality control, packaging and labeling of ready-to-use cannabis products in preparation for shipping to multiple retail facilities. The Joint Roller works independently. Monitors contaminants, sanitizes and adheres to AO company policy, MED and state regulations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Preserve product quality; monitors contaminants and take appropriate action to correct quality issues.
Abides by product handling procedures, including company safety and health policies/regulatory agency compliance.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of processing storage areas, office and supplies.
Verify accuracy of product displayed in POS (correct product, quantity and/or weight).
Authenticate correct use of MED-required packaging and labeling in accordance with company policy.

Position Summary:
Provides manual labor to support the activities and operations of the Cultivation Department, while abiding by policies, procedures and operational guidelines.

- May perform all tasks in the indoor perpetual harvest grow:
- Mother plant maintenance, cloning, transplanting, nutrients and pH management, water management, positive airflow, temperature and humidity control, pest and disease control, plant transfer from veg to flowering.
- Knowledge of pest and disease control and management.
- Maintain and follow the cultivation department policies and procedures.
- Wash and sanitize all equipment. Scout all equipment, ensuring all tools are free of pests, viruses or disease
- Demonstrate accurately and thoroughly in a timely manner to meet production standards. Work in a timely manner and strive to increase productivity.
- Maintain organization and cleanliness of the cultivation facility while performing job duties.

Position Summary
Joint Roller is responsible for inventory accountability of joints in compliance with pre-established inventory requests. Responsible for high-volume quality control, packaging and labeling of ready-to-use cannabis products in preparation for shipping to multiple retail facilities. The Joint Roller works independently.
