Position Title: Grow Technician

Classification: Non-exempt

Status: Full-time

Summary/Objective: Responsible for accuracy and efficiency with caretaking of cannabis plants including watering, plant maintenance, plant movement, plant production; ensures that the plants are at optimum health levels in accordance with company policies, procedures and processes. Maintains a clean and safe work environment.

Essential Functions:

· Understands proper plant identification and knowledge of plant health and stage in growth cycle

· Maintains plants throughout all stages of life including mother plants, cutting clones, veg stage, flower stage and harvest

· Identifies broken or damaged equipment including lighting, AC units, dehumidifiers, thermometers, heaters, etc.

· Maintains cleanliness of facility including grow rooms, restrooms, common areas, parking lot; assists with waste/trash removal as necessary

· Other duties as assigned

· Ability to be flexible and work in various sectors of the department as needed/requested by management

· Understand and follow the rules, regulations, policies and procedures of the Cultivation department

· Maintains current, up-to-date knowledge of state laws/regulations applicable to cannabis cultivation facilities/initiatives

Required Education and Experience:

· High school diploma/GED

· Minimum 2 years previous experience working in the cannabis industry

· Familiarity with warehouse procedures

· Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with minimal direction

· Strong work ethic; ability to adapt to adjusting workload and priority levels

· Excels in team environments and in building and developing interpersonal relationships while maintaining an individual focus/determination to achieve established goals

· Must work well with others and be able to adapt quickly to changes in policy, procedure and technique.

· Ability to be flexible and work in various sectors of the department as needed an/or requested by their direct supervisor; this may include but is not limited to, helping trim staff with small tasks, cleaning and/or moving supplies and equipment and/or helping the packaging department or working at other locations as needed.

Position Title: Social Media Specialist

Classification: Non-Exempt

Status: Full-Time

Reports to: Chief Operating Officer

Summary/Objective: To create and maintain a strong online presence for the company and its product brands; to implement creatively effective online marketing strategies through relevant social media outlets engaging cannabis consumers.

Essential Functions:

· Create engaging text, image and video content

· Design posts to sustain readers’ curiosity and create buzz around new products

· Measure web traffic and monitor SEO

· Stay up to date with changes in all social platforms ensuring maximum effectiveness

· Facilitate online conversations with customers and respond to queries

· Report on online reviews and feedback from customers and fans

· Develop an optimal daily posting schedule, considering web traffic and customer engagement metrics

· Report weekly on social media metrics and provide analysis of key trends and action items

· Oversee social media accounts’ layout

· Suggest new ways to attract prospective customers, like promotions and competitions

· Ability to work with social listening tools in order to stay ahead of brand conversation and overall brand sentiment

· Analyze creative content in order to provide productive feedback to designers and work ahead to build out monthly content schedule based on findings

· Collaborate with Retail to make sure all relevant messages are supported on social

· Measure and report on all social media campaigns related to overall brand strategy

· Track all VIP, influencer, brand partner and press related content through brand tracking tool as well as maintaining files of screenshots and clippings for cross promotions.

Required Education and Experience:

· Proven work experience as Social Media professional

· Expertise in multiple social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, etc)

· Ability to deliver creative content (text, image and video)

· Familiarity with online marketing strategies and marketing channels

· Ability to gasp future trends in digital technologies and act proactively

· Excellent communication skills

· Multitasking and analytical skills

· Understanding of social media KPIs

· Ability to work well and collaborate with cross functional partners

· Excellent time management skills and ability to be flexible in a fast-paced environment

· General knowledge of Search Engine Optimization and internet ranking for web content

· Relevant experience determining a target audience and how to cater unique marketing campaigns to capture their attention

· Keynote, Pages, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Adobe InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator skills preferred

· Marketing degree is welcomed but not required with relevant work experience

The Director of Distribution is responsible for ensuring a well-coordinated and highly efficient supply chain for our cannabis distribution facility. The successful candidate will be analytical, passionate and highly skilled in supply chain management.

This position reports directly to the EVP of Operations and works together with the VP of Sales, Controller, and the Director of Cultivation to ensure that the distribution team has all product, supplies and equipment needed to fully function at an optimal level. The Director of Distribution is also responsible for the management of vendors, suppliers and contractors that support the operation.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Supply Chain Management:

• ERP Management - Collaborate with cross-functional groups to understand current process, potential improvements, and recommend improvements for ERP management
• Vendor Relationships - Monitors business trends and product availability to pay the best price for company goods and services without sacrificing quality or delivery times
• Logistics - Apply strong logistics management practices of monitoring, analyzing, identifying and resolving challenges through preparing and completing action plans
• Warehousing/Shipping - Identify and secure optimal warehousing facilities and shipping routes
• Ordering Portal – Manage internal ordering portal to insure all locations are supplied regularly without interruption
• Purchasing and Procurement – Collate purchase orders and purchase requisitions in order to order equipment, supplies and goods. Determine the lowest cost options and coordinate logistics to stores.

Manufacturing:

• Adhere to all state and local compliance regulations Bureau of Cannabis Control (BCC)
• Maintain all track and trace records according to Metrc
• Manage and oversee the production team and operations in Downtown Los Angeles
• Maintain all existing accounts and ensure the fulfillment of orders to internal stores and wholesale customers
• Establish and refine SOP’s and QC/QA programs as needed
• Ensure all compliance and Good Manufacturing Practice processes are maintained and fulfilled
• Oversee seamless transition and move of operating facility when/if needed
• Monitor expenses and productivity of employees

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree or higher
• 5 years of manufacturing and/or operations experience; preferably in a food or cannabis industry
• 5 years of managerial/supervisory experience
• Experience with ERP software
• Logistics solutions experience (warehousing and shipping)
