Scheduler Marine exp Work Packages Lyon Shipyard is looking for a marine planner scheduler for our shipyard in Norfolk, VA. If you have background in scheduling work packages using Microsoft Project we would like to speak to you.

We are looking to train some one in shipyard processes. You will have the opportunity to grow within the company.

The Planner/Scheduler I for the development of ship's schedules. The employee must possess or have the potential to attain the necessary skills to perform the following functions:

• Basic knowledge of blueprints, drawings, diagram & technical publications, also to develop skills in establishing solicitations and planning fundamentals, develop skills in the scheduling software programs (Open Plan, Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project), exhibit proficiency with MS Office, basic knowledge of the Joint Fleet Maintenance Personual and good communication skills.
• Internal Required Skills: Good communication and writing skills Proficient with Micro Soft Office Suite (particularly excel, outlook, powerpoint and word)
• Familiar with NAVSEA Standard Items and Joint Fleet Maintenance Personual
• Knowledge/read blueprints, drawings and diagrams
• Presentation skills Professional skills
• Organization Skills
• Fundamentals of planning Organizational skills Microsoft Office suite (proficient) Communication Skills Able to work with a diverse group
