Production Associate
Lucky Turtle is growing and we are looking for help. Lucky Turtle is a Colorado licensed marijuana infused product manufacturer selling a range of high quality craft cannabis supercritical CO2 extracted products such as vape cartridges, tinctures, and infused nut butters. This is a Production Associate position responsible for performing production and the final packaging and labeling of Lucky Turtle products. This position is full-time and anticipate approximately 35+ hours scheduled per week. Hiring for both morning and night shifts.
Job Responsibilities:
- Receives, inspects, and prepare cannabis raw materials for extraction
- Operate supercritical CO2 extraction equipment and escalates equipment and process isues.
- Perform processing operations to manufacture cannabis oil following detailed SOPs
- Manufacture and formulate Lucky Turtle products following and documenting GMP style manufacturing procedures.
- Equipment assembly, disassembly and cleaning operations
- Packages final product in child resistant packaging and marketing layer, maintaining high quality.
- Reads and understands all batches, product descriptions, final product packaging, and product cases.
- Reads and understands all labeling and understands labeling requirements must be done in the specified manner for MED regulations compliance.
- Knows what constitutes inferior product, visually inspects product for defects while manufacturing/packaging and understands the need for professional labeling and packaging appearance.
- Escalates labeling issues to the team immediately.
- Maintains a clean, organized and safe work environment.
- Wears necessary PPE.
- Complies with COVID-19 safety standards and policies
Additional Responsibilities:
- Assists in product development, process improvement, and continuous improvement projects.
- Performs Process Engineering Data Entry.
- Facility cleaning tasks
- Performs Packaging Inventory Tracking data entry.
- Performs order fulfillment process and metrc transactions.
- Performs other related duties as required or assigned.
Requirements: Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Must have a MED Badge and 1-2 years of experience.
- Skill in effective communication.
- Basic Computer Skills.
- Ability to follow detailed procedures.
- Good documentation practices
- Ability to follow a routine schedule and maintains productivity while performing routine tasks.
- Desire to learn science or mechanical aptitude.
Physical & Mental Requirements: Must have the physical and mental strength and endurance to be able to perform duties. Must be able to fold small boxes and apply small labels. Required to frequently lift and move 25-50 pounds. Expected to stand, sit, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend to be able to perform duties.
