JOB SUMMARY:
The Laboratory Packaging Technician is responsible for dosing bulk post product materials such as live rosin, CO2 full spectrum cartridges, and brick hash as well as final packaging and quality control of individual lots. This position requires someone with high attention to detail to uphold the quality of our finest products. The laboratory packaging technician will work closely with the laboratory supervisor to collect data necessary for building production schedules as well as building out packaging techniques and methodologies and be assisted by the senior laboratory technicians for task work.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position includes, but are not limited to the following:
- Dosing of solventless cannabis concentrates such as rolling brick hash and filling vape cartridges.
- Packaging, labeling, and bulk packaging of the product.
- Quality control applied to the process from filling to final packaging.
- Precise and accurate collecting of data.
- Digital self-reporting of data collected through-out the packaging process.
- Assist laboratory technicians in the weekly sanitization and daily cleaning procedures.
- Assist the trim team during harvest or other event where assistance is needed.
- Transparent and effective communication with team and supervisors
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Extremely high attention to detail and quality.
- Prior experience working in a ISO-9001:2015 or GMP facility is highly desired.
- Prior experience working in a cannabis facility is highly desired but not required.
- Familiarity with handling variety of cannabis products is a plus.
- Must pass any and all required pre-employment screenings.
- Must be and remain compliant with all legal or company regulations for working in the industry.
- Must be a minimum of 21 years of age.
- Must be approved to receive an Agent badge.

JOB SUMMARY:
The Vault Supervisor is responsible for maintaining the integrity of all cannabis and non-cannabis inventory in regard to our company's policies and procedures and to ensure compliance with all state and local laws and regulations. The Vault Supervisor will complete all the regularly occurring duties of an Inventory Specialist.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintains accurate inventory records.
- Leads order deliveries following Local Roots and industry protocols.
- Conducts monthly inventory procedures including monthly inventory counts.
- Assists in logging, reporting and investigating daily inventory discrepancies.
- Creates and edits product information via LeafLogix. ( Move product)
- Acts to maintain a professional relationships with staff, vendors and other persons.
- Maintains a high level of confidentiality.
- Follows all appropriate security protocols.
- Understands organization is key to the smooth running of the vault. (Everything Labeled)
- Follows and enacts protocols to maintain said organization.
- Helps to determine active and inactive inventory levels.
- Aids in maintaining relevant inventory records including manifests and testing data.
- Guides and instructs other vault/inventory staff.
- Exhibits punctuality, reliability and job safety.
- Answers incoming phone and chat conversations and converses with customers in an
- informative, respectful, professional manner.
- Understand the importance of Product Master. ( how to create and update)
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be 21 years of age or older and able to successfully register with the state's cannabis commission as an agent
- 1-3+ years experience working in retail, inventory, warehouse or manufacturing facility preferred
- Previous experience in inventory management preferred
- Able to follow detailed instruction and capable of performing regular system and physical inventory audits
- Positive attitude and works well with others in a team environment
- Effective time management and multitasking skills
- College degree preferred.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

POSITION DESCRIPTION
This position will report directly to the Harvest Manager and will be responsible for meeting all the listed requirements. The Harvest Technician will be harvesting, curing, processing, and packaging all post cultivation plant material to ensure proper status for either packaging or extraction.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Operation of all harvest equipment.
- Sanitation of all harvest equipment; twisters, grinders, carts, trays, ovens, totes, and sealers.
- Ensure proper handling throughout the transition of product from room to room.
- Record and capture data precisely from all operations that are performed daily.
- Optimize workflow and work efficiently.
- Maintain consistent cure and processing parameters.
- Harvest on a weekly basis.
- Maintain a clean work environment in all respective areas.

JOB SUMMARY:
Budtenders are the face of our business and will be responsible for ensuring every customer is given the time and attention needed to select our best cannabis strain or product for them to experience. Budtenders are required to see to it that business operations are conducted in accordance with company policies and procedures as well as with MA state regulatory standards at all times. This position reports to the Manager of the dispensary.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Understands that customer service is the top priority and ceases performing tasks when customers are present and in need of assistance

Job Summary
The Inventory Specialist at Local Roots is a position responsible for managing location inventory through Metrc and maintains accuracy required daily. This is accomplished by actively performing appropriate day-to-day activities as needed in alignment with company goals and needs. He or she must work closely with the Inventory Manager and staff to ensure inventory compliance digitally through Metrc as well as physically.
It is instrumental that the Inventory Specialist has a clear understanding of Metrc. This person is responsible for compliant inventory practices in Metrc. They must adhere to the regulations for adult-use cannabis put forth by the Massachusetts Cannabis Control Commission.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Tracks and monitors Local Roots inventory (primarily finished product destined for Local Roots dispensaries and wholesale buyers)
- Create tags to uniquely identify each box of finished product in Metrc as well as update Apex (or applicable wholesale tracking system) with available finished product inventory once product is labeled and given a tag.
- Ensure inventory is not within Local Roots expiration guidelines
- Assists with month end inventory counts on all licenses; Questions and investigates when counts don’t match
- Reviews incoming manifests in Metrc to ensure they are accurate and receives the product into inventory electronically after delivery/ transfer has been completed and verified that the transport manifest matches delivered items
- Maintain FIFO, first in first out
- Prepares manifest for product leaving and returning to the production/lab license
- Performs inventory movements between licenses
Qualifications and Skills:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Must be 21 years of age
- Able to pass all background checks as mandated by Massachusetts Cannabis Control Commission
- Ability to sit and stand for extended period of time
- Ability to frequently lift and store product

JOB SUMMARY:
The Senior Laboratory Technician will be responsible for assisting in product processing and formulation as it relates to CO2 Extraction and Ice Water Hashing. Tasks are assigned by the Laboratory Director to monitor and maintain the organization, cleanliness and efficiency of production areas. This position is responsible for assisting with lab production, which includes but is not limited to distillation, extraction, winterization, production of cannabis infused products, compliance requirements, sample preparation for testing, finished product packaging and workplace safety.
- Familiarity with basic scientific principles and laboratory experience. Must be able to follow written SOPs and maintain a laboratory notebook.
- Must follow all applicable policies, procedures and guidelines. This includes the safe and proper operation of any/all applicable machinery, instrumentation, and equipment.
- Operate laboratory instruments, make observations, calculate and record results.
- Work as part of a team to meet production schedules.
- Follow SOPs to meet Good Laboratory Practices and Good Manufacturing Practices compliance.
- Maintain stock of disposables needed for extraction, post-extraction processing, and packaging.
- Work directly with Laboratory Director to refine or author new SOPs as new processes and new products are being developed.
- Understand and meet monthly and quarterly production goals.
- Manage and delegate tasks to the Junior Laboratory technicians.
REQUIRED SKILLS:

Job Summary
The Fulfillment Associate is responsible for a values-driven approach to ensure a compliant and secure fulfillment process in a highly regulated market. Using proprietary knowledge and systems at the company, the Fulfillment Associate will use highly regulated platforms to manage complex supply chains experiencing rapid growth.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Monitor Apex (or applicable wholesale tracking system) for incoming orders and physically pull product to fulfill orders mirroring the sales invoice.
- Using Metrc (or applicable track-and-trace system) for inventory transfers, build transport manifests and weight sheets using the unique identifying tag numbers associated with each box of finished product.
- Pair corresponding manifests and weight sheets together and leave in designated area for drivers.
- Mark orders with appropriate status in Apex (or applicable system) as order is filled and shipped to communicate with the Sales and Accounting departments the status of the order as it develops. Mark order as delivered only after delivery has been completed and verified that the invoice and transport manifest matches delivered items.
- Edit invoices for designated dispensaries in Apex (or applicable system) pre-shipment per request of a Sales team member.
- Revise invoices if needed upon delivery completion to reflect any rejections or discrepancies and notify dispensary contacts via email or phone call.
- Track and process all product returns and if applicable, fix issues and prep to send product back with next delivery.
- Help with inventory maintenance.
- File all completed manifests electronically with sales invoice in Apex (or applicable system).
- Provide support to Packaging and Sales departments as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Skills
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel

- Previous experience in supply chain, warehouse, receiving, and/or inventory.

JOB SUMMARY:

Carries out day-to-day plant care, including watering, pruning, harvesting, and trimming. 1. Plant Care
a. Measures nutrient and plant applications and applies these amendments
according to company policy.
b. Ensures plant health by pruning, topping, trimming, and analyzing plant health

c. Assists Cultivation Manager with rotation of strains through garden to ensure
variety and quantity.
2. Facility and Cleaning
a. Performs all assigned duties required to ensure a clean and safe cultivation facility. If you notice something that is a hygienic hazard to product or employees, notify your

b. Responsible for the cleanliness of all cultivation equipment and tools, including light reflectors, containers, mixing tools, application tools, and ventilation equipment.
3. Reports and Documentation
a. Assists the Cultivation Manager with tracking plants from birth to harvest by ensuring proper and accurate documentation for applicable activities.
b. Ensures accurate documentation of all plant tracking numbers, lot numbers, and all
other applicable information.
c. Documents, according to company policy, the application of all nutrient and/or
substances applied to any plant located within the cultivation facility.
4. Safety and Security
a. Maintain a continuous state of alertness to ensure the highest standards of safety for fellow employees, products, and the facility.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND SKILLS

JOB SUMMARY:
The Vault Attendant will work with management and sales to provide accurate up-to-minute product availability information to store patrons. This position will require active communication to ensure orders are only filled once and all inventory is accounted for on a daily basis. Local Roots is looking for a Dispensary Manager for our Fitchburg location. The Dispensary Manager manages the dispensary teams, including all Floor Supervisors, and Budtenders. The Dispensary Manager will work with and report to the Director of Retail to ensure that all daily dispensary tasks are completed, dispensary agents are performing to the best of their abilities, inventory and cash management best practices are being utilized, and all necessary software is functioning. This position will report directly to the Harvest Manager and will be responsible for meeting all the listed requirements. The Harvest Technician will be harvesting, curing, processing, and packaging all post cultivation plant material to ensure proper status for either packaging or extraction.

A floor supervisor works with Budtenders, Inventory Specialists, and the management team to ensure that daily tasks are completed, and Budtenders are performing to the best of their abilities. They are often the public interface between the facility, our patients, regulators, law enforcement and the public. A floor supervisor must have a professional attitude, comply with all state and company policies as well as offer excellent customer service.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Receiving orders
- Performing cash drops from Budtender drawers
- Accessing the overnight and drop safes to collect budtender monies, initiate change swaps and restock cash drawers
- Handling customer inquiries and complaints and acting as a liaison between customer and management
- Store opening and closing procedures including unlocking and locking building
- Moving inventory via LeafLogix
- Maintaining a clean and orderly workspace
