INTRODUCTION:
This position is an entry level position within the Cannabis Packaging Department. Technicians will package various forms of cannabis, track productivity, and maintain facility cleanliness. Technicians will be assigned tasks within various areas of the Packaging Department; cannabis packaging, labeling of containers and bags, and facility upkeep.

- Must be able to packaging cannabis with little to no mistakes
- 5 x 8 hour shifts that rotate with Planting Calendar (Morning, Day, Night Shifts)
- Microsoft and Google Doc knowledge preferred
MAJOR DUTIES:
- Station Set Up
- Clean and sanitize work area and equipment
- Accurately Packaging of Cannabis (machine and hand)

KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED BY THE POSITION:
Experience and/or education in cannabis cultivation, horticulture, or biology is preferred. Previous experience with packaging cannabis is preferred.

COMPLEXITY:

SCOPE AND EFFECT:
The purpose of the work is to maintain compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal laws; Employees may need to maneuver through the myriad of regulations that may apply, and assist other employees at all levels to obtain necessary services and benefits.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Ability to work a minimum of 8 hours a day and rotating shifts.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull 50 pounds
- Ability to sit, squat, bend, and kneel repetitively throughout a workday

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

BENEFITS:
In addition to your compensation, you will be eligible to receive any benefits which are offered to all full-time Lightshade employees. The employer will pay $250.00 towards Employee Health Insurance, Dental insurance in which the employer will pay half of the employee cost, the employee pays for Vision and Aflac. These benefits are available after 60 days. The company pays Life at 1 x your annual salary and Short-Term Disability. We offer a 401k program, with a 6% match after 90 days. Lightshade offers Vacation time at 80 hours accrued in the first year, 120 hours during the third year, and 160 after four years of service. Sick time is at 80 hours per year. Both are a maximum of 160 hours of accruals.
All new employees will serve a 90-day evaluation period to enable the Department Supervisor to determine their suitability as an employee.

REQUIREMENTS:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES and/or RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Execute LightShade selling standards to meet team and individual sales goals and metrics
- Responsible for driving sales and customer experience by maintaining a tidy, safe, and well-merchandised store environment
- Ensure the sales floor is properly stocked and the presence of the store is well maintained

Responsibilities
(including, but not limited to):
- Structuring purchasing across
multiple locations - Comparing costs between
vendors and streamlining product selections - Tracking and coordination of
deliveries - Establish and manage inventory
levels of predictable non-resale consumables and ensure that proper
inventory is maintained - Seek opportunities to save
through bulk ordering on predictable consumables where possible - Managing vendor relationships
and establishing accounts with new vendors as needed - Development of product
catalog and ordering structure for multiple locations - Create purchase orders and
facilitate receipt of goods - Perform additional

Knowledge/Experience Requirements:

IPM Technician
Overview :
The IPM Technician works across multiple facilities under the IPM Supervisor and with other Technicians to carry out all IPM duties assigned by the Director of Cultivation Strategy. Duties include mixing/applying pesticides, servicing application equipment, maintaining regulatory compliance and the use of personnel protective equipment.

- Knowledge of basic computer skills, Point of Sale software and cash management

- Able to accommodate scheduling expectations including weekend, evening, holiday shifts and store location movement
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:
- 1 + years retail or customer service experience preferred
- Data entry and word processing skills
REQUIRED CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Support badge through the
Marijuana Enforcement Division
