Lift Seltzer is a rapidly growing cannabis beverage brand that makes delicious, award-winning, low-dose cannabis-infused sparkling beverages. We are looking for a Sales Representative to help expand our brand’s retail presence in San Diego. The Sales Representative will be responsible for sales and support of Lift Seltzer’s products to dispensaries and key accounts. The Sales Representative will spend the majority of their time on the road making contact with dispensary buyers, managers and owners, signing new accounts, submitting orders, and building and maintaining relationships. The Sales Representative will be responsible for meeting and exceeding revenue targets and market penetration targets.
Qualifications
· Lift Seltzer is looking for an ambitious, hardworking, personable sales professional with a desire to execute the rapid retail expansion of Lift Seltzer in San Diego
· Must have existing relationships with buyers, managers, and/or owners of dispensaries (required)
· Must have existing book of business/clients/buyers in the cannabis industry (required)
· Must have track record of success closing cannabis accounts and generating significant revenue (required)
· At least 2 years of outside sales experience in the cannabis industry with a proven track record of success (required)
· Have a valid driver’s license (required)
· Must have unlimited access to reliable, registered, and insured transportation that meets the State of California’s requirements (required)
· Have an engaging personality, high energy, and a positive attitude
· Must work well with other people and be a team player
· 21 years of age or older
· Efficiently plan your daily routes in order to maximize your use of time
· Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
· Ability to strategize in order to establish retail agreements with dispensaries
· Ability to understand client needs and adapt accordingly
· Must be proficient with Google Sheets and Google Docs to track sales activities and progress
· Results-driven and self-motivated. Must be able to work independently
Requirements and Responsibilities
· Your mission is to build relationships, drive sales, and grow market share.
· The Sales Representative will spend the majority of their time on the road. Activities will include: setting meetings, forming new relationships with dispensary buyers, signing new accounts, maintaining current relationships with dispensary buyers, submitting orders, conducting staff trainings and occasionally other in-person events.
· Deliver convincing sales pitches and quotes to gain new business
· Professionally represent our brand and educate buyers on company and product lines
· Provide market intelligence and feedback to Management, including competitor pricing, products, new products, and merchandising techniques
· Responsible for meeting and exceeding sales targets
· Responsible for meeting and exceeding market penetration targets
· Generate qualified leads through web search, networking, phone and email
· Effectively communicate the value proposition of Lift Seltzer products to buyers
· Log daily sales activities
· Minimum of 10 in-person account interactions per week
· Must be willing to travel extensively throughout San Diego
· Education: Bachelor’s degree (preferred) or equivalent work experience
Compensation and Details
· This is a part-time position (20 hours per week)
· Compensation: hourly pay + commission + monthly transportation stipend
· Schedule: Monday through Friday
