Our amazing budtenders are considered experts on the products sold. They are tasked with managing customer satisfaction by guiding customers through the selection process. Budtenders must stay current on cannabis industry trends and have exceptional customer service skills.
Responsibilities:
- Welcomes, greets, and establishes rapport with customers and visitors with warmth and professionalism and delivers quality customer experiences to advance a positive experience and ongoing relationship with customers.
- Provides customers with cannabis information and educational resources regarding strains, methods of consumption, effects, and precautions related to their consumption of cannabis products.
- Provides enthusiastic and informative engagement on in-depth product knowledge of products including features, benefits, and overall value and offers help and provides direct assistance to customers that are new to cannabis use.
- Attends to the unique and individual shopping needs of each customer by meeting the customer where they are in their understanding and knowledge of cannabis products.
- Cross-sells and encourages beneficial product add ons.
- Up sells when appropriate; promote current sales, promotions, coupon deals, discounts, etc.
- Operates a cash register. Itemize and total purchases by recording prices, departments, discounts/specials, and regulation limits.
- Accurately processes payments from customers; issue receipts, refunds, credits, and provide customers cash change when necessary.
- Handles customer complaints in a calm and professional manner or escalate customer issues to the Floor Manager.
- Balances cash drawer by auditing at the beginning and end of shifts to ensure that amounts are correct and that there is an adequate organization for other team members.
- Assists in organizing and replenishing front stock and help merchandise store.
- Maintains a clean and tidy work and retail space.
- Works as a team to achieve sales goals and encourages team members to provide excellent service.
- Maintains the professional appearance of the sales floor by restocking merchandise on the dispensing and participating in basic store cleanup.
- Responsible for ensuring the cleanliness of all staging areas and Point of Sale system terminals.
- Assist with product preparation and displays.
- Completes other assignments, tasks, and duties as assigned by management.

Our Inventory Manager is responsible for inventory purchasing, management, and distribution. Develop comprehensive inventory tracking systems to meet inventory goals, manage tracking systems to ensure ideal levels of inventory in the dispensary.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Executes and manages strategies, processes, procedures, and standards for all inventory management related systems with a focus on accuracy and compliance.
- Manages all METRC related tasks and compliance; METRC tags, documents, product entry, and incoming/outgoing shipments.
- Maintains accurate and up to date inventory counts and reconciliation using METRC.
- Prepares METRC reports for cycle counts.
- Executes and manages ongoing physical count of inventory, and reconciles actual stock count against METRC reports.
- Investigates any and all inventory discrepancies and develops processes, procedures, and policies to minimize inventory discrepancies.
- Identifies theft or diversion of products and reports incidents directly to the Dispensary Manager.
- Ensures first in first out inventory distribution policy.
- Records and monitors all items with shelflife and notifies vendors when products have expired.
- Processes, documents, and coordinates returns and exchanges with vendors in accordance with company policy and state regulations.
- Manages vendor relations and purchasing with a focus on consistency, pricing, and product availability.
- Assesses inventory requirements and submits purchase orders to approved and verified vendors.
- Assesses inventory overages and shortages and strategize sales and incentives with the management team to recoup assets or adjust ordering procedures.
- Receives, opens, counts, and unpacks cartons or crates of products and merchandise, checking invoices and manifests against items physically received.
- Examines all incoming product shipments and required documents to ensure quality and compliance with state requirements.
- Enter laboratory test results, product information and other required information into the Point of Sale system in accordance with company policy and state regulations.
- Coordinates all invoice reconciliation with Accounts Payable team.
- Executes and maintains a clean and orderly inventory storage and distribution system.
- Communicates new product offering specifics with the management team and dispensary staff.
- Manages, coaches, guides and develops inventory team to achieve higher standards of execution with a focus on compliance and efficiency.
- Develops systems that support job functions, policies, and procedures.
- Completes other assignments, tasks, and duties as assigned by management.

Floor Manager is responsible for carrying out all daily tasks and duties in a manner keeping with and advancing strategic goals.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Leads the dispensary team by example, which includes providing excellent customer care, superior time management and supporting our team environment by performing all duties on the dispensary sales floor.
Manages customer concerns, complaints, and returns.Provides superior customer service to Lemonnade customers.
Contributes to assisting customers, including working together with dispensary staff to provide excellent customer care.
Provides consistent in the moment performance coaching and manages the productivity of dispensary staff.
Identifies and communicates performance gaps and disciplinary action to the Dispensary Manager and Assistant Manager with a solutions oriented approach.
Assists with directing dispensary teams, including training new employees, and providing comprehensive knowledge on cannabis, products, and devices.
Understands the Lemonnade genetics and the medicinal and recreational benefits of cannabis products and effectively communicating those benefits to customers.
Educates dispensary staff on new cannabis science findings and the effects of new cannabis products, types of cannabis, and delivery methods.Communicates with dispensary staff on cannabis news, trends, and events.
Communicates with dispensary staff on BCC, industry news and customer concerns and trends.
Properly documents information in the Point of Sale system to ensure proper compliance and train others on how to remain compliant.

Dispensary Manager
Our Dispensary Manager is responsible for overseeing all operations of the dispensary working closely with the executive team to give direction and leadership toward the organization's mission, strategy, and annual goals and objectives. The ideal candidate will have previous experience managing a dispensary, excellent people skills, a genuine passion for the cannabis industry and the well being of customers.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- A critical element of the role will be to ensure that the environment and customer experience reflect the Cookies vision and values.
- Provide strategic direction and thought leadership to the retail organization, with a strong understanding of the market and customer needs, as well as anticipating future needs.
- Maintains a presence on the sales floor in order to effectively coach and support the dispensary team.
- Perform a significant role in defining objectives, strategies and plans. Works effectively with cross functional partners (Operations, inventory/planning, finance, advocacy, etc.) to implement those plans.
- Maximize retail productivity, sales, and profit, while ensuring that standards of service excellence are continuously met and improved upon.
- Recommend and implement techniques to improve productivity, increase efficiencies, enhance customer experience, and maintain best in class practices.
- Work closely with marketing and social media teams to communicate store brand presence, incentives, events, and product offerings.
- Identify KPI’s, trends, and opportunities to define changes in processes and procedures that drive operations and selling agendas.
- Responsible for driving brand initiatives, including overseeing the customer experience of the brand and community/customer/governmental outreach within this channel.
- Proactively collects the voice of the customer feedback, and uses feedback to implement new product offerings.
- Comprehensive analysis of P&L reports.
- Ensures a world class experience exists for our customers.
- Understands and remains current on market demand for product offerings, and ensures dispensary teams are trained to meet customer needs.
- Creates an environment in which a personal, customer focused, and service oriented mentality is standard.
