JOB DESCRIPTION
Lehua Brands employs extraction technicians whose primary job responsibility is to produce and refine cannabis oil/extract through various extraction techniques and processes. Extraction technicians are expected to have a firm understanding of the chemical principles that are being applied during processing. Extraction technicians are also expected to record essential processing information during production and report the information electronically on each batch that is processed. Making hands on decisions as an Extraction Technician will surround the following principles: Safety, Quality, Delivery and Productivity.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Perform various production procedures.
· Oil extraction, collection and refining
· Record and report various production measurements onto physical batch records, and transfer measurements into electronic logs and tracking software.
· Record and report any production, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and calibration operations performed in equipment logbooks.
· Report any variation or deviation from expected values for process times, yields, and any other defined product characteristics throughout the production process to management.
· Assist in the disposal of all waste materials.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
· Ideally has at least 1 year of experience in a professional cannabis extraction production environment.
· Must be 21+ and be able to pass a background check.
· Has precursory knowledge in the operation of cannabis extraction equipment.
· Has basic knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within the oil processing industry.
· Has experience following instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform critical job functions.
· Is mechanically inclined; able to find and diagnose mechanical issues with industrial equipment.
· Maintains a positive “can do” attitude in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
· Able to adjust to change quickly.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
This position will be responsible for assembling the sales teams for the California-regulated cannabis market.

JOB DESCRIPTION: The Packaging Specialist is responsible for packaging materials, loading items into containers, and weighing and labeling the items appropriately. They also perform final checks for defective items, ensure all working items make it to the loading area or inventory, and keep detailed records of materials and shipments.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Pack, weigh, and label completed items for shipment or storage.
- Follow all company guidelines regarding packaging.
- Identify and dispose of defective items.
- Properly use packaging materials, including hand tools, glues, tapes, padding etc.
- Keep complete records of all materials that go through the warehouse.

Role & Responsibilities
Inventory & Cost Accounting
· Manage the forecast and accounting of raw materials and inventory by working with the Finance Team and Director of Operations.
· Liaise with vendors in the procurement process as required.
· Maintain data and records for inventory cost, purchasing, receiving and related accounting within the inventory and accounting systems.
· Preparation and analysis of production, costing, and Finished Goods inventory batch reports comparing factors affecting pricing and profitability, and tracked within accounting systems.
· Inventory management, including managing the physical inventory count conducted by the Operations team, and monitoring the cycle count system.
· Review, analyze, track inventory and reconcile stock variances; provide management with monthly inventory reports.
· Represent Finance/Accounting on teams designed to improve operations, reduce costs, etc.
· Assisting with Month-end close activities and preparation of financial statements
Accounts Payable & Treasury
· Manage the full-cycle California Payables function for inventory and facility costs, and ad-hoc recurring payments.
· Work with the Corporate Controller and VP Finance to submit/review/approve invoices and related payments through the banking processes.
· Maintain data and accounting system records for invoices received, and processing of related payments.
· Manage the on-site cash processes and maintenance of cash management and accounting controls.
· Manage the on-site procurement and expense management for the facility and staff on ad-hoc basis.
Month-End
· Lead the reconciliation of the month-end inventory, batch reports and accounting system.
· Maintain and record journal entries for prepaids, capital assets, payroll accruals, and ad-hoc processes as required.
ERP System
· Be a champion member in the implementation and training of a new ERP system.
· Assist in developing and documenting policies and procedures, including system requirements and internal controls.
· Maintain data within, and provide suggestions for improvement of data maintenance and reporting within the system.
Education/Experience
· 2+ years of Costing & Inventory management experience in a Manufacturing Plant or CPG industry.
· University Degree and/or Post-secondary education in Accounting or a relevant field.
· Advanced System & Excel Skills; including use of V-LOOKUPS, Pivot Tables, Conditional Formatting.
· Experience with QuickBooks or accounting software
· Strong ability to manage and analyze multiple sources of and types of data.
· Self-motivated, excellent organizational skills and problem-solving abilities; high achiever.
· Positive attitude/strong work ethic; a true team contributor.
· Must be 21 years or older and able to pass a Criminal Background Check.
· This position is based in our King City and is not a remote position.

JOB DESCRIPTION
The Lab Manager is responsible for the management of the Lehua Brands lab, which includes improving and executing extraction processes, planning inventory, scheduling and managing lab technicians, and coordinating with the management team to execute a comprehensive manufacturing plan.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Preparing equipment and plant materials for extraction.
- Operating highly sophisticated extraction equipment.
- Processing concentrates and extracts.
- Cleaning and maintenance of extraction equipment and laboratory facility.
- Maintaining strict inventory records of all plant materials, chemicals and equipment used in the laboratory.
- Operating, maintaining, and making adjustments and repairs to laboratory equipment such as supercritical CO2 extractor, ethanol extractor, vacuum ovens, rotary evaporators, stirred reactor, High Shear Homogenizers, and other laboratory equipment.
- Maintaining inventory records of supplies, materials, and equipment, and preparing requisitions as needed.
- Storing supplies and equipment, disposal of waste according to guidelines, and keeping laboratory, storerooms and working areas immaculate.
- Washing and sterilizing laboratory glassware.
- Performing clerical work related to laboratory activities such as word processing, record keeping, filing, and answering telephone inquiries.
- Maintaining material safety data sheets for all department chemicals and products.
- Performs related duties as assigned.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Be at least 21 years of age and able to pass a background check.
- The qualified individual must have 2 to 4 years of experience in an extraction lab setting. Cannabis extraction is highly preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree from a recognized college or university, with a major in chemistry, engineering, or a related field.
- The qualified individual will possess a keen interest and knowledge of Organic chemistry, GMP manufacturing, Cannabis extraction, Food science, Process engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Biochemistry, Drug manufacturing, etc.
