Summary/Objective
The Kitchen Production Assistant will work closely with the kitchen team to ensure products are created and packaged to regulatory compliance in a time efficient manner.
Job Responsibilities
- Effectively follows procedures for food preparations, production, packaging, and controls
- Works with the kitchen team with hands-on tactics while following production processes and schedules
- Works with Processing and Packaging to prepare and package products according to the company's internal schedule and within food safety standards and regulations.
- Requires a flawless understanding of food safety standards and professional hygiene.
- The appropriate use of scales will be necessary to ensure consistency of the cannabis-infused portion of the product and for portion control.
- Ensures that ingredients are ready for use each day.
- Maintaining inventory records of supplies, materials, and equipment.
- Storing supplies and equipment, disposal of waste according to guidelines, and keeping the kitchen working areas immaculate.
- Assisting with maintaining material safety data sheets for all department chemicals and products.
- Maintaining the highest level of compliance.

Education and Experience

Summary/Objective
The operations supervisor will lead the packaging production team and support the General Manager in ensuring the flawless execution of production timelines to support business needs. The primary goal of the operations supervisor is to ensure the proper production flow to support the demands for consumer-packaged goods and the timelines of contractual agreements. The role will be charged with up-holding, generating, and strategizing on processes to improve efficiencies and grow the department. Specific responsibilities include hands on management of day-to-day performance, production schedules, hiring, training, team development, department process improvements, and coaching. Summary/Objective

Job Summary:
You will be responsible for growing and supporting the sales of cannabis products to dispensaries. Reporting to the Sales Manager, this role will work closely with the entire sales team to develop and implement an effective strategy to continue the company’s success. This role is remote and travel within a territory is required.

- Develop ICANIC Sales via new business as well as maximizing current business partnerships, selling multiple offerings within each Brand in the portfolio.

- Communicate ongoing status, changes, and issues to Sales Manager or additional teams as outlined by Communication Guidelines.
- Communicate customer specific requirements to appropriate team member(s) as outlined in Communication Guidelines to include codes, packaging, age, availability, and special requirements when orders are placed.
- Work with Sales Manager to resolve pending and/or potential issues.
- Generate department reports as needed including but not limited to: demand plan, prospecting lists, aged inventory, scheduled mix verses produced mix
- Forward production planning and availability to clients and prospects.
- Responsible for entering all client, prospect, and territory information and other pertinent information into a customer management system and preparing and submitting all required reports within established deadlines.
- Responsible for scheduling and executing the brand awareness for the company. This includes scheduling and executing in-person demos, acting as the public facing representative of our brand, and is highly visible at promotional and special events.
- Develop account goals and joint business plan with ICANIC customers including reviews of business performance, growth or synergistic strategies etc.

Human Resources Manager/Director
Position: Human Resources Manager
Location: Willits, CA
Reports to: Management Team
Compensation: Salaried position/Full-time position
Position Summary: This position assists in the day-to-day operations as related to Human Resources. This position provides direct assistance to management personnel in the administration of the human resources policies, procedures and programs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned:
- Review Payroll hours/bonuses (if applicable) and adjust hours as needed
- Organizing and paying employees on payroll day.
- Accident investigations.
- Filing of worker’s compensation claims and following up with adjusters to ensure quick and efficient closing of claims
- Maintain and update OSHA 300 form as needed.
- Conduct employee relations to create an efficient and conflict-free workplace.
- Ensure everyone is working safely i.e., PPE, Heat illness prevention, Preventing unsafe practices, etc.
- Complete employee onboarding packets for newly hired employees including badges and timecards.
- Complete I-9 forms, verify I-9 documentation, and maintain I-9 files.
- Keep up to date employee photo “yearbook” log of active employees.
- Keep records of benefits plans participation for all locations such as health insurance, dental, vision, 401k, and personnel transactions such as hires, promotions, performance reviews, and terminations.
- Prepare employee separation notices and related documentation and conduct exit interviews to determine reasons behind separations.
- Prepare reports and recommend procedures to reduce absenteeism and turnover.
- Review, track, and document compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training such as but not limited to safety training, anti-harassment training and pesticide training.
- Attend and participate in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and misconduct investigations.
- Schedules meetings as requested by the management team.

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage the data! We have a lot of it!
The ideal candidate is a data wizard. This person should be ready to jump into it to understand how we track sales, cogs and other key metrics. With this information, the ideal person will help develop day to day and monthly reporting, KPI tracking and other reports as needed. The ideal candidate is an excel and BI master. The Company uses Power BI currently but is open to other tools such as Tableau.
Other duties include:
- Lead the monthly financial reporting process for the business; report on key financial information and formulate narrative for financial results in a timely manner, ensuring compliance with company guidelines and all financial reporting requirements
- Lead the process for capital reporting across the enterprise, including budget and forecast cycles
- Partner with business unit leaders and senior management to provide financial guidance and support in interpreting and analyzing financial and business issues which includes driving operating performance, delivering on business initiatives, growth and profitability while ensuring compliance to accounting principles and corporate governance
- Work with finance staff to analyze and determine variance and business trends. Propose solutions, potential savings or actions to mitigate business trends.
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
- University degree, with a business, finance or accounting focus
- Professional accounting designation or MBA considered an asset
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in FP&A with strong link to business and operations
- Ability to clearly understand business objectives and link financial results / data to operational performance drivers
- Prior experience within forecasting and budgeting cycles
- Excellent communication skills, and a demonstrated ability to work effectively with all levels of management

Summary/Objective
We are looking for a skilled Accounting Clerk to perform a variety of accounting tasks. The Accounting Clerk's responsibilities include keeping financial records updated, preparing reports, and reconciling bank statements.

- Process Sales invoices, customer remittances
- Maintain AR & AP Aging in good standing, send out monthly statements to customers, follow up on delinquent invoices

- Coordinates directly with lab to understand all production lines, processes, and finished goods

Summary/Objective
We are looking for a skilled Senior Accountant who applies principles of finance and accounting to analyze financial information, prepares and presents financial reports and provides key business partners with relevant financial information, analysis, and technical expertise. The position is responsible for the accounting and finance operations of the business including the production of financial reports, maintenance of accounting records, and development of a comprehensive set of controls designed to mitigate risks and enhance the accuracy of the business’ reported financial results. Key responsibilities include general accounting, payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, master data, internal controls, compliance, budget management, financial analysis, and reporting.
Job Responsibilities
- Manages all monthly, quarterly, and year-end close activities in the preparation of internal and external consolidated financial statements by GAAP + IFRS Standards.
- Develops and drives compliance to financial policies, procedures, and internal controls and plays a leading role in process improvements.
- Manages and coordinates accounting transactions, and financial reporting, and maintains standardized reporting timeliness.
- Acts as primary contact with internal/external audits, and prepares relevant reports.
- Ensures accounting activities and reporting are by established legal, regulatory, and company procedures.
- Maintains budgets and analyzes budget requests to identify areas in which efficiencies, cost reductions, and productivity gains can be made and allocate operating budget.
- Assists in cash management - including managing vendor relationships, preparing weekly cash flow analysis, and generating check runs.
- Establishes strong business partner relationships with the functional team and is the business's technical expert in accounting matters.
- Reviews and analyze financial trends and provide analytical reporting.
- Participates in regular discussions, planning meetings, and presentations.
- Identifies, develops and executes analysis of business initiatives, product launches, and new lines of business as the company expands.
- Ensures timeliness and accuracy of financial and management reporting data for the company and applicable third parties, including state regulators, auditors, and the company's financial and tax advisors.
- Analyzes and evaluates the financial performance of long-term operational goals, cash flow needs, budgets, and forecasts.
- Creates and establishes monthly, quarterly, and annual financial objectives that align with the growth/expansion plan.
- Implements policies, procedures, and processes as deemed appropriate to ensure accounting, financial, and regulatory compliance.
- Presents monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports - including profit and loss by division, forecast vs. budget by division, and cash flow by division.
- Provides insight and recommendations for improvement.
- Remains up to date with impending and new regulatory changes, including in state and federal cannabis operating and licensing regulations, and communicates any changes effectively.
Skills and qualifications:
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office
- Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 5+ year’s experience in accounting and finance
- Demonstrated ability to understand complex accounting literature and apply it to the business/specific transactions
- Comfortable with regular travel to/from the San Diego Office
- Strong understanding of the consolidations process, currency translation, the interaction between financial statements, and sales & use tax accounting
- Demonstrated ability to perform with a high level of accuracy under tight time constraints
- Strong understanding of the preparation of financial statements
- Impeccable analytical and organizational skills
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of abstract variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
- Ability to work effectively with a diverse group of people and manage competing priorities without directly supervision
- Demonstrated ability to effectively lead and influence others - including direct reports, peers, and senior leadership of the company
- Knowledge of federal regulation on taxes and reporting

CONSUMABLES PURCHASING MANAGER
Position: Consumables Purchasing Manager
Location: Willits
Reports to: Chief Operating Officer
Compensation: Salary $55k-$60k
Position Summary: Oversees the procurement and distribution of the organization’s equipment, supplies, and services. The goal is efficiency plus the ability to purchase at scale, so we get better pricing.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Manages Profit and Loss as it pertains to non-cannabis goods.
- Purchasing point person for all NCI packaging and consumables.
- Responsible for sourcing all packaging and hardware needs.
- Communicates across all companies.
Detailed:
- Check Purchase Requisitions (PR) for accuracy, completeness, and approval signatures to ensure purchasing policy requirements are adhered to
- Assign and review Purchase Orders (PO) for all approved Purchase Requisitions through the company system
- Negotiate bulk pricing, discounts, etc. with vendors or suppliers
- Purchase raw materials components, equipment, supplies, shipping containers, etc.
- Evaluates bids from suppliers, ensuring materials are purchased with a predetermined budget in accordance with company policy or with proper approval of management
- Communicates with suppliers to resolve problems that may arise regarding delivery, quality, price, or conditions of sale
- Develops and maintains relationships with new vendor accounts. Performs other related duties as assigned, including vendor onboarding and data management
- Ensure New Supplier Request Forms are completed and submitted to QA for all new suppliers before placing an order
- Assist with materials team ensuring established inventory levels are maintained
- Maintains relationships with existing vendor accounts.
- Perform weekly open PO report and advise requester(s) status of delays.
- Ensure materials are stored in accordance with storage requirements as specified on the Supplier's C of A, packaging, markings, and/or label requirements
- Order and ship supplies for all entities
- Ensure First-In-First-Out (FIFO) or First Expired First Out (FEFO) System is followed
- Maintain manufacturing consumables (Butane, ethanol, etc.)

Summary/Objective
The Kitchen Production Assistant will work closely with the kitchen team to ensure products are created and packaged to regulatory compliance in a time efficient manner.

- Effectively follows procedures for food preparations, production, packaging, and controls

We are looking for a skilled Accounting Manager to perform a variety of accounting financial tasks. The Accounting Manager will oversee three direct reports and work collaboratively to ensure the complete and accurate accounting and reporting of financial data.
Job Responsibilities
- Obtain and maintain a thorough understanding of the financial reporting and general ledger structure.
- Ensure an accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year end close.
- Ensure the timely reporting of all monthly financial information.
- Assist the Controller in the daily banking requirements.
- Ensure the monthly and quarterly Bank Compliance activities are performed in a timely and accurate manner.
- Supports budget and forecasting activities.
- Collaborates with the other finance department managers to support overall department goals and objectives.
- Monitors and analyzes department work to develop more efficient procedures and use of resources while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
- Advises staff regarding the handling of non-routine reporting transactions.
- Responds to inquiries from the Vice President, Finance, Controller, and other finance and organizational wide managers regarding financial results, special reporting requests and the like.
- Work with the Controller to ensure a clean and timely year end audit.
- Supervise the general ledger group to ensure all financial reporting deadlines are met.
- Assist in development and implementation of new procedures and features to enhance the workflow of the department.
- Provide training to new and existing staff as needed.
- Handle personnel issues relating to staff conflicts, absenteeism, performance issues, etc.
- Work with each direct report to establish goals and objectives for each year and monitor and advise on the progress to enhance the professional development of staff.
- Support Controller with special projects and workflow process improvements.
- Other duties as assigned.

Summary/Objective
We are looking for a skilled Inventory Clerk who is accountable for all aspects of inventory. Will reconcile production inventory usage with work orders, cycle count inventory, organize inventory for ‘first-in / first-out” usage, and other inventory-related tasks.

The Distillation Technician is an extremely technical job. Attention to detail and a background in Chemistry are required. Position reports all data findings to the Chief Science Officer while scheduling is reported to the Lab Director.
