- Ensure each guest receives outstanding customer service by fostering a friendly, welcoming atmosphere; this includes greeting and acknowledging every guest enthusiastically, maintaining outstanding standards, answering questions and/or concerns, making guests feel appreciated through your actions and having solid product knowledge.
- Stay up to date on current products and continually strive to expand your knowledge of strains, vendors and products.
- Work with others to keep all areas clean, stocked and compliant to ensure an effective, efficient and safe workflow.
- Accurately input customers’ orders, collect money from guests and make change; totaling price and tax on merchandise; accepting payment and making change; as well as packaging product in an appropriate exit containers as per OLCC regulations.
- Work with team members to open and close the store.
- Wash and sterilize flower jars
- Arrange products to maintain an attractive display

This position is full time, located in the Portland area.
Position Summary
General Managers are ultimately responsible for all store operations, personnel and compliance with OLCC regulations. Effective time and employee management are essential skills for success in this position. GMs are responsible for ensuring the highest quality customer service; obtaining, receiving, organizing merchandise; maintaining communication and professional business relationships with various vendors; ordering product; store opening and closing procedures; maintaining a clean and safe work space; enhancing product knowledge; supporting sales associates and processors and complying with OLCC rules and regulations at all times.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Responsible for all day to day operations including but not limited to;
- Employee management and development;
- Setting employee schedules two weeks out; finding coverage for employee call-outs; interviewing candidates; employee training; administer performance reviews; issuing disciplinary write-ups; fostering employee growth.
- Inventory management
- Maintain accurate inventory records in accordance with OLCC regulations; order inventory from wholesale and product intake; prepare product for the sales floor; sustain adequate inventory of store product and store supplies.
- Maintain adequate records of cash movements; prepare bank deposits and disburse employee tips.
- Keep safety and security a top priority; promptly address all safety and security concerns; foster a welcoming, courteous and happy work environment.

Position Summary
Kaleafa is a fast-growing cannabis retailer in Oregon and Washington. We operate eleven retail stores as well as a wholesale distributor and a farm in Southern Oregon. We opened our first store in 2014 as a family owned and operated medical only store and since then we?ve grown to be one of the largest retail and medical cannabis suppliers in Oregon. We are a family-first oriented company and are looking for dedicated, smart, adaptable individuals to join our team. The industry we operate in is incredibly exciting and we are looking for an individual who is up to the challenge and is creative in their ability to problem solve.
The Staff Accountant will be an integral member of the accounting and finance team. The ideal candidate will be an organized individual with an accounting background and an eye for detail. Strong communication skills are a must, and they should be able to comfortably communicate through email and in person, as this role will be working with multiple departments. They will process a high volume of accounts payable, cut checks, input intercompany transactions, record payroll, maintain vendor records, assist in 1099 reporting at year-end, and provide general support to the accounting and operations team members.
Duties and Responsibilities
Vendor maintenance ? setting up vendors and verifying information
Annual 1099 preparation and filing
Proactive approach to research and resolving vendor issues
Performing accurate data entry of invoice coding in Sage and ensuring on-time vendor payments
Weekly check runs and setting up ACHs
Daily bank reconciliation
Recording debit and credit transactions
Month-end close process
Preparing month-end AP and other balance sheet reconciliations
Process documentation ? update processes and procedures as needed
Operate computers programmed with accounting software to record, store, and analyze information
Assisting with other duties as assigned.
